I never got arrested. Once police was willing to arrest me. Running behind me but couldn't arrest me.

I had (I say "had") the ability to read people with just a handshake. When I met someone new, I'd extend my hand for a handshake. In that brief encounter, I got what I called "vibes" about that person. Good vibes...good person. Bad vibes...bad person. It didn't matter the type of handshake...strong or wishy-washy. I couldn't tell you why I felt that way about a person, it was just a very strong feeling that washed over my entire body. 

 

I said I "had" that ability. Unless you have that type of ability or one similar, you have no idea how disturbing it can get. This wasn't something I sought for, it was there and I couldn't control it. I met a Psychiatrist (of all people) who I later learned that had the same ability, but he was much more sensitive than I. All someone had to do was walk into his office and he had them pegged. I talked to him about my ability. He said that I had to learn how to channel it and how to switch it on and off or to build a gate that could be opened or closed. I'm not going to get into all the details. I built a swinging gate, but when someone had a very strong vibe, that would come through a closed gate. So, I built a gate that was designed to close permanently. But once in a while, even that gate fails and it's the worse vibes that get through. Now, I don't initiate a handshake. I wait until the other person to extend the hand. If they don't, that's fine with me.
