The server you are trying to connect to is temporarily unavailable.

So, for two days now every time I try to join a battle I get, "The server you are trying to connect to is temporarily unavailable.  Please try again later..."  So, I've already missed my daily bonus for one day, and now break my weekly streak.  Does anyone have any clue when we'll be able to play again?

Please include the information like:

  • Which OS you are using
  • Which software (client) you were using or trying to use to play the game
  • Do you have latest versions of required software(s), updated Adobe Flash Player plug-in and video card drivers

If you are using the downloadable official Tanki Online client, deinstall/delete its folder and download and install the latest version.

If you are using Standalone Flash Player, you might be using the wrong link or it is no longer supported due to transition of the game to the secure protocol.

If you are unable to join a certain battle but can enter the game, this means that certain battle is located in a nearly full server (which's id number you cannot see anymore since Unified Battle List update, therefore cannot generally know which battle is in which server) and should try finding a battle located on another server.

Next time please post issues or questions on the Help site.

I don't know how to fix the problem, but your weekly chain (streak) for missions will be fine. They only thing you'll lose is a days worth of progress, it doesn't break and set you back week/s anymore if you miss a day.

If you are using WindoW XP, follow this topic about the issue related to this system: Problems entering the game on WinXP

I wasn't responding to the post for support so much as just noting a general problem.  I haven't changed anything on my end recently, so the problem would seem to be on the server side.  I'm running Windows 10, using the HTML5 client (since that seems to be the only browser option that loads now), and have updated Flash and latest video drivers.  Seems odd to be able to log into the game, but not join any battles.

The problem happened right after they changed the security from http to https, I didn't get a server error, but I did get some nasty lags that eventually just made be stop playing. I don't know if that is related to this or not, but it sounds familiar.

It's not odd, because the Client store the framework, ressources and images on your PC, while you need to access the battle through HTTS and that where the issue starts - then the connection is refused.

The proposed solution was for you to update the IE to version 11, even if you don't use it. Windows will use it by default, unless you stated otherwise in the parameter of your PC.

If you try the above, please let us know the results, as if it is a positive outcome we can share with player with the same set up as you.

I have windows 10, use the client and have IE 11. All is working well for me. My browser parameter by default is Edge 40 (which i profoundly dislike).

Nope, you can log with html if you load to html5, go back, go to tanki website, press play. If it still does not load html, try it again
