Get experience for catching gold boxes and containers

I am very happy that developers chose to reduce the time limit that was 30 seconds for gold boxes to only 10 seconds when the siren goes off. Very good balance between gold drops and the 1000 crystals prize. Everything is now multiple of 10.

 

However, catching gold boxes is something that requires great skills. My suggestion is to have a prize of 1000 XP for players who catches gold boxes. Only the player who manages to catch the gold box would earn 1000 XP as well as the current 1000 crystals. I believe that earning 1000 XP is a good prize reward for gold hunters because catching gold boxes is something that requires accuracy and skill. Skills like this must come as a prize reward. Here players will earn a fixed 1000 XP points when catching a gold box in battle.

 

This XP prize reward will not disrupt the game balance, nor the economy of Tanki Online because catching gold boxes for each of the players is something rare and does not contribute to faster rank up. The ranking ups will not be abused in any way. Of course, if you are a Recruit or Private and you pick up a gold box, it will be normal for you to rank up to the rank above Private because you will automatically add 1000 XP to your rank bar. For higher ranks, this will not be an issue, unless you are only 1000 XP away to the next rank.

 

Legend players, will not witness this tiny amount of extra 1000 XP added to their rank bar because its is such a tiny amount of extra 1000 XP compared to 200,000 XP between Legend ranks.

 

Just to resume everything I mentioned on paragraph 1, the gold box is 100% perfect in its drop rate of 10 seconds and 1000 crystals reward. I like this perfect balance and I want it to always remain like this from now on. All I am asking for, is for players who manages to catch a gold box to earn 1000 XP because gold boxes requires skill, and skills must be rewarded with XP, not crystals nor supplies.

 

When collecting a container in battles, players will also earn 1000 XP for grabbing those black boxes because they require skills to catch them as well.

 

Please add this update to Tanki Online because skills for catching black and gold boxes must come at a prize reward of 1000 XP per gold (only) for the player(s) who manages to catch them in battles. Players will also earn 1000 XP when friends drop gold boxes in battles.

 

Players will not earn any XP at all when buying gold boxes. Purchased gold boxes will remain exactly the same as of now.

We usually don't approve ideas about adding EXP to Gold Box rewards, but this one actually seems quite logical. If EXP for golds is given only on non-PRO battles, then it should be balanced. The only issue is that it will make more people go for gold boxes, which isn't great as it will distract more players from the gameplay objective. But then again, it's only for 20 seconds, so that's fine.

 

Perhaps the EXP could be given only at Legend ranks, as a sort of unique feature for the highest ranked players.

 30 is also a multiple of 10..

The gold box is known as the box for skills, so it does make sense to have 1000 XP for the players who grabs gold boxes.

don't you see that 1000 EXP is too much.. only 150-200 EXP are fine.

Imagine if a buyer drops 100 golds for a non-buyer private 

And the private ranks up

He is now in M2 ranks while he still has M0

 

So , what i am saying add this to Generlissmos+Legends only

Well, I did reject previous ideas about replacing the gold box crystal reward with 1000 EXP and adding a whole new type of gold with 1000 EXP, because such ideas are pointless. But since golds are such a big thing in tanki, it kinda makes sense to give some EXP for them as well as crystals. 

 

Also, it could potentially solve an issue with players multing in battles to catch golds, so that they would keep gaining crystals while staying at the same rank.

The problem with this is that I could fill a non-pro battle with my friends and drop endless golds to rank up)

First of all, if you're dropping so many of your own golds, then you're probably buying them, which is revenue for devs. Second, this idea is proposed for non-PRO battles only, since that's where it takes more skill to catch a gold (ignoring the fact that a lot of it is luck).

Omg you're so frustrating, always talk without reading what I say or engaging brain I swear *facepalm*.

 

1) Devs removed option to buy experience from the game for a reason, so they don't want it back

2) I clearly an unambiguously said that people can drop golds in NON-PRO battles by filling the map with their friends and taking all the golds yet your un-thought out response couldn't be bothered to read that, pfft.

Sorry, I misread that.

But I imagine that even with the "squads" feature (or whatever they'll call it), it will be near-impossible to fill a non-PRO battle with just your friends after MM is released.

Earning 1000 XP for catching gold boxes does not contribute to power levelling. Like you already said, earning 1000 XP when catching gold boxes can be applied only to non pro battles. Standard battles will continue to last 10 minutes long and the 1000 XP for gold boxes will only be available in standard battles to avoid power levelling. Developers will choose what rank to give the 1000 XP for. My suggestion is Legend.

The person who catches the gold box earns 1000 crystals and 1000 XP. The other players would earn tiny rewards like 100 crystals for taking part in the challenge.

I know that there is an event called "Save the Gold". It would be good if developers created a gold box and container mode. What do you think?

This should be only for Legends ranks, but I'd rather give players and option -> either take 1k Crys or 1k Exp. That would be able to change in options.

 

If ranks < get exp for GB, they will get more exp than crys. I want to say that in non-pro battles you get something like exp=crys, and this would kind of break it.  This would cause faster ranking (check ratings, many players are not on Legend rank), and better position for buyers that will buy crystals.

My suggestion is to have the gold box give both 1000 crystals and 1000 XP at the same time. Legends would love to benefit from this feature.

Players should earn experience for catching supplies, gold boxes and containers because they require skills, so skills must be payable with experience. Supplies boxes should be given a particular experience points value. For example, repair kit = 1 XP, double armor = 2 XP and so on.

 

1. Repair kit = 1 XP

 

2. Double armor = 2 XP

 

3 Double damage = 4 XP

 

4. Speed boost = 5 XP

 

5. Nuclear energy = 10 XP

 

6. Gold box = 20 XP

 

7. Container = 100XP

 

The above is only an example, but should reflect the particular value of experience given to players for catching any one of these particular supply boxes.

Interesting. But this should give you EXP and not battle points.

 

How could something like this affect us?

All that would be required to fix this would be to have the amount of EXP given from the gold to reflect the rank of the person catching it. Kind of like the pro battle pass.

For instance, at recruit, catching a gold might give like 50 EXP while at legend it gives 1000 EXP.


 

 

Recruit-Gefreiter: 50 XP

 

Corporal-Sergeant: 100 XP

 

Staff Sergeant-First Sergeant: 200 XP

 

Add 100 to each group of 3 from this point on...

 

Field Marshal-Generalissimo: 9

 

Legend: 1000 XP

 

 


 

There are ten groups of three ranks and then Legend rank. By having the first group be 50, and second group be 100, and then 200, 300, 400, 500 and so on, it allows it to come out evenly at 1000 EXP.

As we know at first gold boxes used to be really rare and used to be something people want so badly but now its not as specail as before so i have an idea to make it more better, how about when you catch a gold box with catching it you earn 1000 crystals while earning 1000 XP.
