I guess they just wanted to explicitly point out, that ALSO LGC modules will be converted to the new system. For a moment I thought the same, but then I checked back, for "We will convert old modules into new modules". No reason to just remove them, refunding the extra in batteries is worth it for them, because it's a new feature, and people will be buying new things anyway, cause why not.

watch and see if this will the same system they did back when they changed the M3 kits to shop . watch they place M3 battery's in shop as well . this would be a huge blunder on them if they choose to do it. in the v-log it states in garage and shop and this was the same for the kits ..

 

it seems to be there not hurting on money ..when more players are refusing to add money into it.  ....so who is putting money into it ?? I wonder ..

 

the up dates and labor of love we put into our modules compared to the transfer of what your giving us do's not add up... as time goes on its just like the drug system we now own , that as soon as it gets low we have to buy more to fill it up . just like a gas tank in your car.

what if your XT version is fully MUed but your regular version isn't? what will happen after XTs become skins?

Drones are ridiculous. They're ugly and will give away your position. Nobody asked for Energizer. It's a huge change to the game and you're removing all the hard earned crystals that went into modules and upgrades into some stupid supply that boosts other supplies. Why not just adjust the supplies that are already in the game? Custom modules should co-exist with the old modules, but more expensive than them in the garage. There is no purpose for this update that I can see.

 

However, matchmaking and battle fund recalculation are a welcome change.

Please not another set of upgradeable items. I really hope you just keep these "drones" at one level and not have m0,m1,m2,m3 and stuff like that, because you have already got to use them through these "batteries" that you call. 

 

Conversion of extra XT/module upgrades into these "batteries" seems at least better than nothing. Seems like I won't be playing in legend battles at all for a while after this energizer update comes into effect, because neither do I have XTs or enough modules to be getting refunded on anything.

 

As for matchmaking, juggernaut, and the new battle fund/score system,. sounds good, can't wait.

what if your XT version is fully MUed but your regular version isn't? what will happen after XTs become skins?

There was a example, that if you have few MUs on normal, and few MUs on XT, they will recount them (according to price, probably), and give a few more microupgrades to the final item. As if you spent all those crystals on MUing only one of them. I suppose, that answers your question, just instead of few MU on normal and few on XT you have 0 on normal and full XT.

One more question. Modules will be converted to the new system the same way like XT and normal turrets/hulls? Meaning, that the new protection's MUs will depend on the amount of crystals you spent on microupgrading the current modules, and not on their percentage? In other words, a 50% protection from railgun in this system does not ensure a 50% protection in the new system, in case that the current module was cheaper, than the new one will be.

how can you say that when we as long time players are loosing our legendary modules which we have worked hard for. to get what a drone that tell players where your located and see this ugly thing flying over head . its like putting on a huge red arrow above us , saying ,...PICK ME ..huge NOOB mistake  .. also why should you care when you get crystals and bonuses seeing your admin .  in the past when you were a normal player you did care . you were  not   all for the game in the past .I don't get it when the majority of players don't like  if I wanted to play with a drone then I would go battle in tanki X . leave that game out of this game.. OH wait did I not say it years ago that these two games will be joining in due time .. more they do these same up dates as in tankiX it surely looks to be happening .. in the near future , soon  to come..

I always notice a tendency of moderators to react positively. Indeed, having formerly been a moderator we were not allowed to talk negatively. But please, have some empathy for those of us who aren't generously paid in crystals and who feel scammed when Tanki pulls stunts like this.

 

You just have to look at who like the original post - 90% mods. Back in the day with the dislike button such developments would have -100 downvotes.

Looks like no one is impressed with drones. I think it's a bad idea.

The new module system will likely be expensive and MM will require players to have more equipment than one combo. With those two updates non buyers will likely be unable to afford the drone and battery system even with the new "slower EXP"

nope . its going to be only a 3 tear system for everyone . leaving old timers no advantageous over new players . they will now be changed over to a drone which will carry drugs to help increase more drug battles . leaving players who don't use drugs or weaker tanks to be the target in battles now. there will be unfair battles increasing more.

I thought drones will decrease the use of supplies and will be free, so I'll be able to play this game again.

 

But you are making the game pay2win even more. Those batteries are another infinite source of revenue... I'm outta here.

The drones and their power supply are all sold for crystals, not money. Given how easy it is to obtain crystals nowadays, I'm pretty sure any free player will be able to afford these drones with relative ease. So while the drones are meant to bring more revenue, they are not explicitly a P2W feature.

I don't know. Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but personally I'm excited about addition of new features and gameplay mechanics. And I'm saying this not because I'm a helper an "get paid to praise developers".

They care a lot about old-timers, but they can't keep old things in the game forever just because some players love them so much. LGC modules are nice to use, but they are also inconvenient, unbalanced and generally unfair to new players. How would you feel if you started playing a different game and in it a bunch of people had powerful items which you can no longer buy, but they still have it because they bought it a few years ago?

 

Legacy modules removed with no compensation? They are the most expensive things to micro-upgrade in this game.

You get compensation with batteries, just like all other normal modules.

 

Why do you guys think didn't release this module update alongside the last "module update"? Simply because it's a conspiracy to get as much revenue as they could. They were like "Ok so we're gonna release this module-separation update to force players to invest money on 'em then after a while we roll out another update that disposes of all their modules, having them to start over again :) "

That's a very unjustified assumption. The paint separation update happened almost two years ago. Devs added that system because they thought it was the best they could do with the game engine. in fact, I even remember one of them saying that they tried to implement custom modules and found out that it was impossible at the time.

 

Two years passed, and I'm sure they now have more experience and new technologies, so they figured out a way to do custom modules. And since custom modules are a far superior system, it's replacing the old system now. It's extremely unlikely that all this was planned for years to make players waste more crystals.

 

All I have is legacy modules on my main. So am I screwed? And what about the millions of crystals I’ve spent on m4 xt’s.

Legacy modules will also be converted to the new system and any extra duplicate protection will be compensated with batteries. Same goes for the extra crystals you spent on duplicate upgrades for XTs.

It's not like the only reason you bought the module is to get a compensation for it. You've been using those modules all these years, and I'm sure they proved very useful to you in battles and saved you many times. Now the game is changing, so old things have to come to an end.

 

A crystal compensation is economically impossible. Obviously players want free crystals, but if devs started giving out millions of crystals for the removed modules, the game's economy would crash.

Just take a look in those famous games like league of legends, the administrators can't make an update without asking players themselves about it,

New system isn't that kind of custom modules they were probably thinking about back then ;) That system was probably impossible, since players are unable to "create" new things, meaning that they would need to have all possible combination modules available to purchase, and player picking the one he wants by choosing combination of protections. I think, that they just didn't want to put hundreds and thousands of "new" modules in garage/their databases.

The new system is same like paint separation update :P Before a paint came with protection, now you equip them on their own. Now you equip and combination of protections, in the new system you can equip 3 different modules, they are independent.
