Players earn XP depending on ranks

It has been announced today in V-Log 171 that next week on Friday, the matchmaking system and the Juggernaut tank will be released. The V-Log 171 also mentions about the small reduction on the number of XP players earn for making kills and healing players with Isida. That is not a very good thing.

 

For very low ranks like Recruit, I do agree that earning slightly less XP is a good thing, but for top ranks like Legend ranks that is a very bad thing because it will take far too long for players to rank up from Legend to Legend ranks. My suggestion here is to have the amount of XP points that players earn for killing and healing team mates in team battles is to increase by a certain amount of XP per rank. The amount of XP players would earn by killing and healing would only depend on rank.

 

Also, it would be ideal to make this XP update dependent on micro upgrades, but I am not sure whether developers would fancy on doing that.

 

Legend ranks takes ages to complete because players have to earn 200,000 XP to complete the Legend ranks, so by having more XP for players to earn per kill would make this problem an advantage. I have noticed so many players who don't play Tanki Online very often or only complete daily missions, then quit for the rest of the day.

 

Most of my friends in my friends list don't play Tanki Online very often and some almost don't play Tanki Online at all, so it would take them years to rank up to the next Legend rank. By having more XP for Legend ranks, this would compensate on the lack of playing time that lots of players don't bother play.

 

More XP for the Legend ranks will not disrupt the game's economy nor the balance. I believe that 50 XP per kill on the Legend ranks could be fine, but I am not sure about that. The developers themselves would be able to find the correct balance to give on the number of XP for the Legend ranks.

Actually, it will disturb the economy, since Legends would be getting 40k crystals more often than before. So unless the reward gets reduced, this can't be done. I don't think it's a problem that Legend ranks require so much EXP. They're not the main motivation for players anyway, so no - they won't bring your friends back into Tanki. It's just more of an additional bonus that helps spice up a Legend's gameplay, since you get the opportunity to have more rank-up parties and compare your legend level to other Legends.

What about if Legend ranks earn 20 XP per kill? That should not disrupt the game's balance or economy.

So they get new ranks twice as fast and get 40k crystals twice as often.

Like I said - the only way this can happen is if Legends get less than 40k for every new rank. And doing that is pointless.

I know that earning less than 40k for every new Legend rank is pointless. That's why the number of XP for Legend ranks must not decrease. Either it stays the same or it slightly increases by 1 or 2 more XP. However, the reward for the Legend ranks must remain as 40k crystals.

If there is an increase in prize bonus reward for Legend ranks, I would probably say a fixed 50,000 crystals reward. But I do not fancy that the amount of XP Legend player earns will become lower. The number of XP for Legend ranks must remain the same.
