Create and add a unique turret for the Juggernaut tank

The Juggernaut tank has a unique hull for its appearance and armor, but what about a unique turret for that tank. The Juggernaut tank must have a unique turret that has a completely different mechanic from all the turrets in the garage.

 

My previous topic of adding two Magnums on top of Juggernaut was declined because in involves too many keyboard and mouse controls.

 

This time, I expect Juggernaut to feature a turret which can rotate both left and right. This turret should be mounted on top of the Juggernaut tank with quite high elevation so that it can replace Magnum. This turret must be a guided rockets launcher that is completely different from Striker and Magnum. The shells would follow and seek the enemy tank who's turret locks on to. When pointing the turret in front on any enemy (without holding the spacebar), the turret would display a physical target symbol. All you have to do is press on the spacebar to launch the rockets.

 

This rockets turret would consist of 10 barrels. When the turret opens fire, all 10 rockets will be launched at the same time and destroy the enemy on impact. Heavy impact splash damage would be caused to nearby enemy tanks who are near the target which the juggernaut launched a strike.

 

All the 10 rockets would automatically follow the enemy tank just like an aircraft rocket.

This unique Juggernaut turret should look like the turret from the picture above and must rotate only left and right. This turret will fire 10 rockets at the same time when pressing the spacebar.

 

I think that this would be a very nice unique additional turret to add to Juggernaut, and it will make it more different than the current Juggernaut tank.

Declined.

 

Creating a new turret which would only be used for 1 tank only is simply not worth it. Making turrets requires a lot of hard work before it can be implemented. They need to see how it would compare with other turrets, it's interactions, the bugs that would need to be overcome. Not to mention that they need to add a separate module that can only be used in that gamemode, otherwise trying to kill an already super tank with no protections would be nigh-impossible.

 

IMO, we should wait to see the final result and how it will perform before we try to change it :)

Waiting is a good thing, but what I suggest is for the Juggernaut tank to be completely unique.

What you suggest is very similar to Striker, which is already part of the Juggernaut tank. Other than the different look, it still has pretty much the same mechanics and isn't unique.

Nah, We already got striker but when we shoot 4 rockets come out from it , why devs don't upgrade striker to make it 10 rockets?

 

The Striker on Juggernaut launches 6 rockets.

6 rockets can already kill anyone... 10 rockets would meanyou'll have to wait extra time for all rockets to blast off before going back behind cover otherwise you'll damage yourself

If we had all the turrets on the Juggernaut tank, the tank would be too complicated to use and its appearance would look horrible.

I agree with Riddler every single turret in a Jug turret would be very complicated, hard to use and hard to look at. Keep it simple, either 10 or 20. Always multiples of 10.

If you want to make an OP gun, make a Smoky with 1250 damage per shot, 1 second reload, 50% weak damage and 1750 damage with critical (25% crit chance). To make it even more OP, each shot should lift the enemy tank into the air so it can not escape.

Somehow the Juggernaut tank must be a bit overpowered so that it can survive for quite a long time without getting destroyed by enemies.
