thumbs up for matchmaking,win ratio is satisfactory and score is quite good .also the waiting time is minimal.

btw i would like to see my amount of earned crystal after battle end.it goes away so fast.

also i don't have to use my auto clicker anymore.so yey.

Another devastating blow. Good intentions totally missing the mark. This could be the final fatal kill shot for Tanki. 

 

First completely misses the important fact that hulls and turrets have personalities, strength and weaknesses. I might be in the mode for a certain kind of play and that's goes with certains maps better than others. You cannot algorithm which map I want to play on. 

 

Second important point, changes on payoff are great but here's the thing.... I want to be relevant in the game I'm playing. I've got good equipement but to be put in a battle where players are multiple ranks above with way better equipement makes it really hard to complete. Doesn't make sense. How many a game has been ruined by a bunch of under ranked players in over their heads?

 

Lots of problems in Tanki, laudable efforts to try and address some of them. Overall it fails.

There is a battle groups function. You don't have to pay to use it.

 

Happened all the time before as well.

No, never happened before. Yes I could chose to join a battle where they have more advanced players (for you can see who is in the battle), now THEY choose it for me where I have no control what so ever, other than just to go play another game.

It is two hours after the reboot. So up to now MM has been working with a small number of active players.  That is when MM will make the most chance for lopsided games and longer waits.  When  many players are on MM should perform at it best. Comment up to now are based on MM at its worst.

I normally play evenings after server re-set. 

 

Before MM ... 20-30 minutes after re-set it was not that hard to search battle lists to find maps with 5-9 players each side.

 

But last night, almost all the battles i played with both accounts had much less than the "optimal" 8 vs 8.  Most battles finished 5 vs 5 - even on the very large maps.  And... seems like the mercy-timer is no longer used.  A few of my battles ended 2 vs 7 or 3 vs 8 as players jumped ship due to the quite unbalanced battles. (My Captain was lowest rank in battle - fighting Marshals - needless to say my score was not great).

 

Match-making should be filling those battles that are only ~ half-full before creating a new battle for someone else.  Also needs a lobby during the wait so we can see what map we are being assigned to and make adjustments before the battle starts.  Tanki-X has a lot of issues - but it's implementation of a Lobby is way superior to sitting and watching a timer.

 

Initially, when the project raise, he had the rank  limits. Maybe later will add limits.

Are you saying a player ... say Commander... can have a sergeant in his battle group.  So if joining a MM battle that sergeant would be on that team?  And vice/versa?  A Sergeant clicking battle would be placed in battle with many other Sergeants but that Commander could also join?

If I were you I would have stopped at 2 minutes top.

There is currently 26k players online; among all the battles created for them you would expect IT to fail a couple of times especially on the first day of release. After 2 minutes try again.

I don't know of anyone who likes their choice taken away.

can't view the battles you might want to join.

have to push a button and wait. yea just wait a minute (10% of the game) to play.

can't continue afterwards, puts you in another game that you might be 4 levels below someone else.

who would like that. lol maybe you. 

too many other games out there easy to join and fun to play. people gonna be moving on.

Does anyone know why it was decided to remove the server list from the game? I don't see why it would be a problem. 

They merged all the lobbies with battlelist into one, to make it easier for players to find battles, without them having to switch servers all the time. On top of that, this update solved the problem of crowded servers. Especially server 1 was at times so crowded that it caused massive lags or even shut down completely. With a unified battle list, players weren't able to manually pick a server anymore and player load was more or less evenly distributed over the available servers.

 

Battle funds - Not good

 

Came in second place on a losing team with a DL of 3.50. I was awarded 150 crystals.

 

No way is that pay for performance. I will continue to bail on losing battles if this is the new normal.

What game mode were you playing and how high was your battle score?

 

Asked it 10 times no answer fro management.

Why we don't get exp on capturing CP?  

Good question, you should definitely receive score for capturing points, since that is the main objective in the mode. I'll forward the issue, thanks!

no clan vs noobs , no waiting to join a winning team , play a new maps , not only polygon , perfect battlefund , meet new people .

Thanks for all the free gameplay, time to move on to World of Tanks or some other waste of my time. 

Wargaming has a matchmaker which pisses enough people off. Good thing the devs don't listen to anyone below the rank of marshal for game feedback. I'll see all of yall's whiny asses in game tomorrow, next week, and the week after.

 

They have now cleraly dissociated the Experience point from the Battle score.

The Score table shows Battle score which are different from Experience point (as in the green bar). Hazel specified that they wanted players to earn more crystal per exp gained. He also said that battle score would reflect people activities son the battle field.

Before it was 2 xp per cap. 

As a legend what would you like more? experience point or crystals?

lol - The big mistake will be to leave it like this or to go back to before ^_^. There is lot of room for improvement, that's for sure. It is still work in progress.

I might have been lucky. Never the less one attempt is not enough to make a definitive judgement. I'll try later, when I get free time.

I have 3 accounts with live daily missions chains, and MMBC or not, they will be completed today!

The matchmaking is a disaster. There's NO WAY AROUND the basic flaw of removing our ability to choose battles and maps -- even if they did fix the lag and bugs, which they've had a year to do and still haven't fixed.

Tanki is no longer fun at all with this update.

My Opinion On This Update

Firstly.I won't say the update is bad, It's a good update the only problem is that team balance

With this sometimes the opposing teams are dominant, If my rank is 3rd Lieutenant I can not Fight against a Colonel and higher ranks, 
Such tanks also are seen in the battles,

Secondly, Gold box rates that update is perfect I appreciate that


Thirdly, Battle funds are no longer visible getting almost equal amount of crystals even on the losing team , This Is A very good thing. 


Fourthly , Sometimes group formation people call in friends and have a chit chat instead of playing , such players on complaints are not removed from the battles. 

Additionally, What I like about this update is that someone leaves the other joins in about less than 10 seconds roughly. With this game is balanced but ranks... 

In My opinion , there should be a group formation or the system recognizes the ranks of different tanks and then send more players otherwise A colonel against warrant officers is just like an Elephant vs Ant.

I played from about 20 minutes after server reboot to about two hours after reboot. No matter how the semantics are structured those hours have far fewer players than at peak hours.  MM is going to make the most lopsideed battles in terms of rank ranges when few players are online. That is the only point I was making.

 

AS for the games themselves,  I had only a couple games I left because they were not worth playing. There were some big rank disparities in a couple games but they played OK. So in my experience M was a marked improvement over the previous combing the list to find a battle worth joining.

 

That's just one day.  I am sure a fair measure of this MM system will take more than that. 

 

Your idea of being able to go to the garagebefore teh battle starts is a vry good one IMO.

You played a PRO battle, this update did not affect PRO battles, so score and fund distribution in those battles is the same as it has been for a long time.

 

 

O_O then why the low crys and exp.... x_x ignore my noob rant....in fact....delete it....O_O

That depends on what they were wanting to do.

If they were wanting to thin out the people playing tanki, this is the right thing to do.

They took their choice from them (joining battles they could see who was in there, and how long) 

you have to wait sometimes more than 10% of the game to join.

you can't continue to play in the next battle, kicks you and have to wait again. Now that's genius.

can't even view your missions while you are waiting. nice.

But the best thing about it is I was waiting to buy 100 buck worth of crystals. They saved me 100 bucks now and that truly is great.

Here’re the main goals of Matchmaking:
 
  • provide fair conditions for all players in the battle (nobody can predict what map will be next, who will be on the enemy team, what equipment to use);  <--- No choice = fair ? Haha !
  • make it easy and simple to find battles;  <--- Find? Who finds what? We didn't have problem to find battles to play in the old system !
  • create battles with equal team composition; <--- Playing with 3~4 ranks above me = equal ? Haha !
  • fill the teams from the start of the battle; <--- take longer to wait and then we will find we don't like the maps, equipment don't fit the map !
  • exclude the possibility of sending passive mults to the enemy team; <--- then who are those mults there we encounter frequently? Do you send them?
  • provide easy to use system to play with friends and clan members in groups. <--- a more complicating system = easy to use system? Haha ! Do you know how did we ask friends to play battle before? We could even call up friends as reinforcement in the middle of a battle before !

All lies ! Lies ! Fake game ! This game is only lies but nothing !

Guys, remember that TO already mistakenly believes a M0(reality) or m1 (maybe, btu certainly not with skills) 3rd Lt can go head to head with Lt Cols and Cols. That is why I hold that the happiest times of my life in TO were as a WO, when the rank brackets are very tight, and the chance of being top tier is high. As a 3 star, 95% of the battles I had access to preMM capped at above Marshal and went down to at least Captain. So the botched ass rank brackets have nothing to do with MM.

I have played enough battles with noob majors and 2nd lts who willingly showed up in General and Colonel ranked battles,a nd I could not get to leave no matter how much abuse or coaxing I gave in chat and game. Gotta love selective shortass memory.

 

Legit critique, I don't like Legends being rotated into regular battle with people below the rank of commander. Pre MM, as a 3 star, I never found a single battle with a Legend rank because the server was set to limit legend interaction below Fieldmarshal, I think that should carry over.

 

Remember guys, Hazel and his corrupt crew (don't be thinking I love anyone at TO HQ except Nives) will tweak MM API and coding hundreds of times based off feedback. It would really reflect better on yalls IQ if you waited a week before throwing a tantrum/riot.

Now get to walking

Matchmaking is an unmitigated disaster.  You have paid NO attention to the feedback from the matchmaking test.  

 

I know a lot of people whine about how this or that update affects them personally, but this one universally ruins the game experience by removing player agency and choice.  

 

I DO NOT WANT to be thrown into a random battle on a random map with random players, and I don't want to wait long periods to be thrown into such an unknown battle.

 

You are seriously killing your own product, and ultimately, your own JOBS with this one.  

 

Reconsider FAST!!

no clan vs noobs ... really?  battle groups can easily be Clan members.

 

no waiting to join a winning team... yeah, now it's waiting to join the losing team.  MUCH BETTER  :lol:

 

play new maps...  what?  same maps as before - a very limited selection of maps which needs to be expanded.

 

perfect battlefund... only if the battle is reasonably balanced. Unfortunately many unbalanced battles - i mean complete farces = no reward

Played a ctf battle right now where my team won with 5-2. I had 235 score and won 375 crys meanwhile first of loser team had 295 score and gain 380 crystals. Image

Losing a battle isn´t anymore a drama :ph34r:

 

Anyway, a lot of lag and too much time to wait for joining a battle. The update is cool but it needs to be well defined.
