My bad I thought you said client.

In this case it is not you the problem it is TO servers. They are currently shutting down. Check the graph on this link (flash is required on your browser and your browser need to support flash) to see how it goes. When the curves goes up try again to log.

You're right, the current system seems to be barely different to the August test. Perhaps developers mixed something up and implemented a wrong version, but at this point I'm just guessing. Hopefully it will work properly in the near future.

Hello guys, here's what I think about this new "update":

positive aspects

1) battle fund distribution -> it has to be adapted but the idea is good, I was tired to earn nothing for helping the losing team...

 

negative aspects

1) boring battles -> first they have shortened the battles, now even the number of players has been reduced??? This might be acceptable in little maps, but the big ones need more players like 10vs10 or better 12vs12

2) unbalanced teams -> maybe the situation is slightly better, but it still common to find battles that are totally unbalanced, one team is full of druggers while the other not and players start to leave the match as always (maybe the changes in battle fund distribution will reduce this problem? We'll see)

3) Inability to choose the maps we like -> I find sad that we can't choose the map to play, I hope this system will use ALL the maps in this game for a better diversity of locations, but if a player doesn't like the map that the system has chosen he leave, so even if the battles are full at the beginning, tankers will continue to switch from a battle to another until they find what they like.

sir the last time they tried MM system / battle list there was issues , even when it returned not many used it . so why even have it when players disagree with it. its not a fair system for this game. yea I know Tanki X is not the same game , in away it is and even there it fails on bringing in players . more are running away. so please have them remove it before we loose players which this game is running near empty.. you know for a fact year's ago we had well over 100 k in players now on good days we might hit 32 k .. what a huge loss for a great game.. hope someone is going to finally listen to the players for once and not the Dev's

The devs have made it seem as if GB will become more rare. I would be perfectly pleased if the mechanic was removed from game.

Sometimes, older things work better for more people, and newer things take longer (almost impossible) for people to adapt to.

I'm still not experiencing any loadings issues, long time taken to enter a battle, and I keep getting put into reasonable matchs with players of my rank, or Legend but I don't mind at all the game seems exactly the same as it was a few hours ago before MM was here :I What's the panic about guys.​<--Don't answer that​ Systems great from my opinion. And wew this topic what's up with all this talk lately about "mods defending developer's every update" from my perspective they're also players who also don't like updates, just because they have a few extra powers, or icon beside their name doesn't mean they enjoy nor like every single update, their just a player like you, me and everyone else in this community, and @Maf I'm pretty sure wrote a huge article about his opinion with these updates, can't remember what topic nor thread it was in though :L But he did mention that he also doesn't like all of these updates, such as the freedom to choose what maps he enjoys to play on, but then he also said he wants to explain to players the devs' perspective of all these updates.

I have a good suggestion here. Put the friendly fire in the regular battle. Since now the crystals earned depends on the player's performance but not the team score. Put the friendly fire to let players also can fight each other, especially in CTF, RGB, ASL (attack side) for getting the flag and ball, so that players can reduce the chance of teammates getting points. Sounds great ! Isn't it? 

 

You have successfully turned all team battles into DM ! Yeah !

Damn straight. There was a reason there was less controversy and complaint prior to 2015, the game was still new. It can be debated to the end of frikin time about the quality of updates (some were very poor, but were fixed in 2017 and 2018), but it was the quantity. No matter what the updates are, as time go on the demographic of "stop messing with the game, its fine as is" will only grow larger. Try in 3 years, say MM is removed. Expect complaining from a new gen of tankers in combination with existing fogeys who will have gotten used to it.

 

Edit: I am now watching Japanese game shows and left off cold burgers for ice cream.

what's the point in winning now, the battle fund split is total BS

Not really dude, it's more like 2/3 for winning and 1/3 for losing. Winning team got a total of 3195 crystals. And losers got 1349.

Instead of changing around the game play and fidgeting with things that are mostly fine as they are, they should work on the graphics.

 

This community is relatively large. Why not gather some artists and get new models for those wonky 2D bushes we've had since way back when? Add some trees, maybe. Add more detail to textures, improve the dust trails and muzzle flashes, get the game to look a little more shiny and less old.

MM makes the game less enjoyable.

    You wait in the cue to get in a battle, (no one likes waiting) you can't choose a side, so good luck trying to complete missions like capture 3 flags or score 3 goals or take 1 of 3 top spots on winning team.

    Example: I waited 120 secs to get in an Assault battle, when I got to battle there was only 4 min left and I was on the Blue team defending.

    We were getting massacred, I am a Major with fully upgraded M2 equipment, playing against many players on opposing team that were many ranks above me with M3 equipment. I stayed till conclusion thinking I would be flipped to the red team so I could captured some flags, but was sent back to cue and had to wait again only to be put on another blue team.

    Many times when I went to cue and was put in a battle I never got to battle before I was sent back for "Inactivity".

  

Please, get rid of Matchmaking or make it optional!!!!!

Totally agree, Gold Boxes can be a real pain at times. They disrupt play, not enhance it.

Only PRO battles in all game modes. Great...

 

How about giving everybody a 24h PRO pass while we wait on your ass?

Interface

 

First of all, starting from tomorrow only PRO-battles will remain in the Battle List. You will be able to join regular, non-PRO battles only by pressing the “Battle” button or through Matchmaking.

 

Second, Battle Fund indication will be removed from the interface of all standard, non-PRO battles. After the update Battle Fund will be calculated based on the outcome of the battle and no longer has a reason to be shown on the battle interface.
