This morning I was in a battle with colonels, and I am a WO2. What on earth is that stupidity about?? OK, I came second on the winning team as I know what I'm doing, HOWEVER my K/D was 0.3 as I was totally outgunned obviously - and my overall K/D is 3.33 - bit of a glaring difference eh?

Who is the numpty responsible for this debacle??? SACK THEM!!!!!!

:D I was multing, not because i wanted, ut because i had to play against drugging m4's and a guy who flips me whenever he sees me, so yes, if you are unable to play, thats multing.

I wish I could say I expected better from Tanki.

I don't know why Tanki can't get its act together and do what every other company in the world does: Market research.  Actually ASK the players what they want to see.  Then do THAT instead of pasting together shreds of excrement-befouled strips of code and declaring the resulting mess a "good" thing.

 

Is everyone enjoying not being able to pick what battle/map you play on?

Or maybe the thing you really like about the update is the way you get to wait between games?  E V E R Y  Game?

 

In the few battles I've been in since MM, I've noticed they end the same way - one team gets ahead by a little bit, the other team loses a couple players and it's GAME OVER. Until Tanki starts rewarding people who hang in the game on a losing team until the bitter end, and punishing those who leave early, the problem will persist.  

 

Remind me again how this is supposed to make Tanki better?  Because from where I'm sitting, if it continues it is reason enough to quit tanki.  I know more than half dozen players who have not signed back in since the last time this insanity was attempted.

ok so far the issues that I have been having is

 

going into battles taking too long

battling with lower ranks and also higher over powered ranks . battles are not balanced at all..

 

see other players with lag issues

not getting kills due to higher ranks in battles

my paint which was on my tanki yesterday was changed today on one of my accounts.

the loading box indicator needs to be bigger and stand out , it blends into the battle list in a way the colours are too matchie / matchie.. need to improve.. also not liking to have to see the battle list in my face my i return from battles instead of the old battle log in page..

 

not impressed with the over all system so far. its ok but loads of room for improvements , if this systems stays..

With the MM system, I only get grouped with Legends, which makes the game pretty hard and boring. 

 

Please have a system where everyone above Legend 2 can only battle each other, UNLESS, the legends are in a party with lower ranked friends. This way, the game is not too hard at the Brigadier - Generalissimo stretch.

This is the worst update ever, Tanki Online, and I have seen quite a few over the years.

 

This one, however, is the ultimate showstopper that takes any bit of choice and fun out of the game. Being randomized into maps I don't like with teams I don't like. Or having few options as a Premium users with few paying players.

 

Look towards the Vest. If you want paying players, sell them cheap, pile them high. Lower the Price for Premium, and make it more attractive to be a constant player with more than one account.

 

The current Price level makes it obvious that you will struggle with few wealthy Premium users who spend a fortune to pay and win and humiliate the massive amount of free players, ruining the game play ith this pathetic approach to gaming.

 

How about a fair Price level and no option to buy gear that is extremely much better than the rest - but more fun?

 

You have been constantly changing the parameters in this game for 5+ years, and apart from a few new turrets... almost no great new maps and no overall changes. A Money machine pused to the extreme.

 

Taking the fun out of it and even taking choice out of the game is counter productive.

 

A fair Price. Fun. Less and better maps. No matchmaking from a supressive regime, thank you.

I've tried...i cant be dealing with this new matchmaking system. What I liked about this game was picking the 5 or 6 maps i enjoyed playing on.  I knew those maps, knew the layout and really enjoyed playing on them.  Now you have taken away that ability to choose my own maps unless I BUY a battle pass. You forcing me to play on maps I don't know and maps I don't like and insisting that I pay for the freedom to chose maps.  I DONT like having to pay for choice so I wont pay and I don't like spending my time playing on maps I don't like playing on so I wont play. I'll wait a week and see if this continues. If it goes back to the way it was, i.e. no matchmaking, I'll continue to play Tanki,.  If it stays with this update then I'll leave Tanki online and find another game.

If you walk into a restaurant that has no menu you just need to press a button "Food" on the table then they will bring you some random food and they tell you that it is much fair and better. Would you go there again ?

Nice parallel.  Apparently, Tanki is inspired by Apparatchniks of the old Soviet Regime who would tell you what to like and expect you to comply.  You WILL like the changes we are making!!

I just played 3 battles and I have to say they were neat. Team balance was ok - not perfect, but ok. One time I thought we outrank those poor guys in the enemy team... and then they simply beat us 4:1 flag x)

The 10min feels good.. enough to check out how your team works and to start to cooperate for a couple of flagruns, still short enough to not suffer endlessly if you're beaten hard. Also the druggers seemed to were distributed more or less evenly over the teams - makes sense, now as they can not choose their team and battle any more.

 

As this thread has grown by +30 pages within a single day, I would say I was lucky with my battles. But.. I don't think so.

 

Anyways.. 3 battles are not enough to judge some large change like MM. Let's see how it feels in the next weeks.

Where did i lie? On the haloween contest, i messaged Nives as soon as i found out i won... I knew tanki doesnt care about their players and i proved my point. If i have wanted to win and go unnoticed, would i really be using account with 4 mines used? Would i really edit them red when its DM battle? Would i? I even asked Nives when is the next contest, so i can participate and make it a tiny bit harder for them to notice it (They didnt noticed it even with those obvious hints.) So just quite me on my lies. I wanna see them.

I think there is a problem with MM. My friend had equiped a M1 twins (he is also legend ranked) and he invited me. Then a player with WO3 ranked player joined in legend ranked battle. MM tries to make a balance between M1 equipments, but does not focus on rank limits. Devs must fix this.

Just done 4 rounds of CP battles on my first Lieutenant account, here's how they went.

• 1st battle...waited 20 secs to join...Put into losing team with 4 minutes left. Hopeless cause, team got owned with 8 players vs 4.

• 2nd Battle...waited 2 minutes to join...Put into winning team with 40 seconds left. All points were already captured and enemy were routed. Waste of time.

• 3rd battle ...1min 40 to join...Joined from start, total mismatch where two highest ranks(M2+) players in the battle on the enemy team, two lowest ranks (M1) were on mine. Highest rank team drugged more as you'd expect when they notice they have the advantage, Total mismatch. Team got owned and struggled to hold any points we captured.

• 4th battle...Joined after couple of seconds wait...joined at start of battle. Yet another rank mismatch, all four higher rank players in the enemy. My team put up a good fight but lost largely because of a lagger in our team that did nothing for the whole battle and got 1 kill for 13 Deaths.

I take it the Devs listened to none of our feedback cos these are the same problems as last time.

 

The only savior of this update is the fund changes,... which I like.

My Captain account playing CP battle on Wolfenstein.

 

- we had  sergeant Shaft sitting in our base camping - um... you have no sight-lines and can't even guard 1 CP from there.

- I was on deathbed heading for RK up that ramp to one of walls.  A (fully healthy) wasp-magnum zips by me and grabs it.  HELLO!!

Really?   ughhhh, press the button that says "Battle" ....find it at the top, in the middle of the screen.  This will take you to the mode menu...now press "Quick Battle" or DM, TDM, etc  In a couple of minutes MM will place you in a random battle.

Apart from the lags in the interface, this matchmaking system is way better than I expected.

I like the fund distribution, now I don't mind being in the losing team.

 

This matchmaking system will save me lots of time because I don't have to look for winning teams constantly.

The lags that I see will probably be fixed over the next few days.

 

The teams are better balanced than in the old system. Players keep joining both the losing and winning team so the match stays full. I played in a couple of maps that I haven't seen public in years so the map variation is also improved.
