Matchmaking is coming May 29th

I opened up my computer, entered a battle with the new matchmaking system, and suddenly the room turned dark. All the lights were on, but they suddenly all turned off the second i joined a matchmaking battle. All of a sudden a thunderstorm began outside and a lightning bolt could be heard from the distance. As i entered another matchmaking battle, the rain turned to hail and i knew this update had me in for a nasty surprise. I tried to do a mission but the screen kept loading so i refreshed it several times. It STILL was loading. So i went to bed and woke up the next day hoping all would be well, that i could play another battle to hopefully skill a gold or two. I logged in and WHAT DO YOU KNOW? IT'S STILL LOADING.

Hopefully by tomorrow, most of the fixes are being prepared to be deployed.

Lag from 1 hour in browser i can't even join a battle ! high ADSL , clear cache & cookies restart laptop & router but no way ! 

is that will be fixed soon ?

Hi,

First of all, I love this matchmaking system.

 

But I think is still not fair to find player m2 against m3 or m4.

 

I hope you change the rank range of battle in way that, only players who have the ability to make m1 play only with same levels

 

Example:

From: Warrant Officer 5   To   Major General

Could buy M2 kits/weapons/hulls, and they could make it M3 so only ranks between them can play together.

 

and also

From: Lieutenant General  To Legend

Could buy M3 kits/weapons/hulls, and could make it M4 so only ranks between them can play together.

 

It's very simple.

And this way is at least fair enough.

I want to complete missions on my alts. Opened my first alt, and the loading screen does not want to end...

There are many issues in the current implementation of Matchmaking, but I can expand on the original announcement that MM was designed and released to bring equal battles and ease of finding a match to the game. Is it working? Far from it. Was is intended to be broken on the launch day? Absolutely not. Since every major release continues to be challenging to put out, the best we as a moderation team can do is to read your concerns, find real issues and broken parts of the update, and report them to the devs for urgent fixes. What is the grand plan behind MM or any other major release is not for me to guess, and, hopefully, we will reach a point when new updates are openly discussed by the devs with the community when they are in active testing on test servers.

 

Right now, we read, the devs work, and we thank you for the detailed, strictly on point critique of the new features.

Agreed, we have to give you time.  The idea itself is fantastic.

It doesn't work.

When it did, I was so outclassed and my team outnumbered that 30 seconds was about the max before being destroyed.

I can't even get a battle to load without freezing now.

So many people have the same , they should reset the server again .... since it seemed to fix the problem for a short while .

So far, this is disastrous. 

I've waited a minimum of two minutes for every game I've played, and every game has been won to zero. So much for balance. That rarely happened before. 

I've been addicted to Tanki for a while. 

This may be my opportunity to kick the habit and go back to my old life.

This needs work, I cannot choose a map to siut a mission, can only join via a browser and not the standalone.

How can I access the page where you can select a battle mode, rather than the battle list? I've cleared cache, tried going from the Tanki site, everything directs me to the faulty battle page. I can't even sign out to sign back in and try that way. I've kicked myself out of my account by logging in on a different computer while loading, but reentering the game from there just puts me in the same spot, doesn't even have me log in :P

I saved up around 280 dollars to buy, but with these horrible updates I don't think it's worth investing my money into tanki before it downfalls.
This MM is basically like communism, trying to make it fair/equal and eventually failing like the USSR did.

I tried about 8 times to login through the standalone client.

Then I tried with the firefox browser with flash plugin a few times.

 

After logging in, the loading progress bar makes it almost to the end and then stays stuck forever.

I waited up to ten minutes on one of my attempts.  No luck.

 

I can't comment on whether I like the features of the MM update or not as logging in successfully is fundamental to playing this game

Maybe I should chill a bit. Maintenance is going on on most servers, and I guess the matchmaking systems sucks just because today is the release date. I think that over the course of the next few days the system should improve bit by bit, because I think there wouldn't be any developer of anything that would make such a terrible system and keep it this way. But if this system doesn't improve, I'll have to quit this once-amazing game... 

 

Because right now, the system is doing some very stupid stuff, like putting M0's against M3's, Warrant officers against LEGENDS, making VERY lopsided teams!!!

There is - or at least was (when I could load the game earlier this morning), but this button simply didn't work as expected, instead it sent you to the new game queue, with similar type of the game

 

Right now I simply can't load the game, server issues

Got in witrh a browser I hadn't been using, and had to take a match the other way.
