For you're kind information I'm a free-player I haven't spent anything on Tanki and find the game perfectly fine. I to dislike some updates here but without them the game cant keep up with the current market now days and if it doesn't continue updating it won't become profitable for the market. Many games have a Matchmaking and are very successful, Tanki is an old game nearly around for 10 years, players leave and come in for a number of reasons, getting bored of the game, I mean would you play the same game for years and years and not get a little bored of it? Or apparently "Bad updates" I do not think many players leave due to bad updates, but say such stuff in chat to start cause a provocation or somewhat think that saying these things will solve the updates they don't like, many people don't like change they enjoy old things yes, I do too miss the "good old Tanki" but I have to accept the fact that Tanki is an old game now and needs to adapt into the current gaming market and can't stay as an old demo software from 2009 wouldn't become popular again in that current state, nor would a gaming market accept such an old software compared to all these other games with these amazing graphics, balanced game-play MMS. I'm not a buyer I haven't spent anything on this game all the crystals I have earned are of hard work I put into my battles, and for Helping players throughout the Year of 2017, and before that..Even if I was a "buyer" that doesn't mean I like nor support this update, I do support some parts of the update and do dislike a lot of other things from it. But I'm accepting the fact that Tanki's an old game, it needs updates to keep going with the current market and non of that can be done with "Changing the good old Tanki" I've seen Tanki players say "The game is dead" in 2015 (when the repair kit got nerfed), 2016, 2017 and they are still here?

It's working fine for me today. Always in a battle within 1m 20s (Could be better but isn't awful) and battles seem to have reasonable rank brackets.

 

Enjoying it so far, but there are still some areas which need some polish.

Actually i am happy about this because maximum amount of players online has gone down slowly but i am sure it will now drop in just 1 year instead of 10

 

oh well if i ever come back to tanki ill mult because there are no more "free box" battles and ill simply take boxes from people who actually need it just because i have a mission

I read only few comments from 65 pages (I gave up long time ago to read all the comments at every update) but I can bet without reading the rest of them that this one is the most pertinent and constructive comment regarding the all the bad Tanki updates in the last years. :D

MM Suggestion:

 

Add a "Prioritize" toggle to the system:

 

Prioritize by Rank:  MM would build your game with all tanks w/in  2 or 3 ranks of one another even if this took considerable time

 

Prioritize by Time:  MM would build your game quickly by taking allowing wide range of ranks.

Yeah, developers should create these as tabs. Also they should add:

 

Prioritize by Maps: MM would search a game that is being played with your favourite map or create a new battle if it doesn't exist.

I have seen different games with balancing team with swapping players and waht they are trying to do is it intelligent? not one bit.What i know is I have played a plenties of games in my entire life but I have doubt how many you played. you people already ate the meat and left the bones for us.you are already a high rank.how about start it from beginning? I want to see how much benifits you are going to earn from that. Already this game takes very long to reach legend and the think tank is play god. Before it took avarage 900 hours to reach legend rank and now maybe it will take 5 yrs.before it was little crap and now a deep crap. Now all the gamers will find their pube hair will turn gray before they reach legend. And you are pretending everything is find that is why I am having doubt who are talking good about this match making maybe bribes from back door

Mate, this convocation is just not going to go anywhere, you have your opinion I have mine, I do not need to convince you of anything, I do have a low account, the rank of WO5, and a Legend 2 Account. But honestly Your opinion is yours, is mine. I will not accomplish anything on convincing you that my perspective of MMS is good..You can think what you want I'll think what I want, but this convocation is just gonna stay here stuck about fighting over who is right and who is wrong, god dose it not give you a headache?  :blink:

So how is the problem of multing resolved with this update? Warrant Officer players and other lower ranks are dragged into legend battles.. The team which has the Warrant officer gets, obviously, disadvantaged. Fix this issue, fast.

At least for me, today was better than yesterday. A lot of work is needed to fix the issues and make it more balanced, but I think the software is more stable now.

As most of the the players, i also dislike the matchmaking update. It is unfair and it does not serve its purpose. If you want to keep it, keep it as an OPTION. The BATTLE command is good. Matchmaking sucks.

After 1 day of testing this new updates :) I would share the following suggestions...

 

About the new battle fund and pro-battle stuff, everything seems fine and fair.

 

For the MMS, I have a little suggestion, because players complain about the maps that they get into, and they ask to choose the map they wants, the solution is pretty easy, as many of the EN community says "other games has a matchmaking system so it's must be on tanki as well", hhm right, but we should also add that they let you choose the map, for example on CSGO you can choose your map and wait for players to join... But my suggestion is inspired from "Ghost Recon Phantoms", which after getting all the players, the system propose 3 different maps, and let the players vote for a map in 10 seconds, so that's better and more fair.

 

 

 

About the way the system make the teams isn't good, I got m2 and they put me with harmless players against full druggers team, so the idea here is to make points for each item, for example: Each drug = 1 pt, m0 = 100 pts, m1 = 300 pts, m2 = 500 pts ... mu for m0= 1pt, mu for m3= 15 pts (each)..and so on... so at the end we will have :

 

player a: 3000 pts

 

player b: 400  pts

 

player c: 1000 pts

 

player d: 2500 pts

 

 

 

So the algorithm work like this:

i = 0

 

while i < x {

1st team > add max pts > remove player from quee

i++

2nd team > add max pts > remove player from quee

i++

}

 

while i< x*2{

1st team > add less pts > remove player from quee

i++

2nd team > add less pts > remove player from quee

So in our case:

x=2

i=0

    1st team > add max pts (player a) > remove player a from quee > i=1 so continue

2nd team > add max pts (player d) > remove player d from quee > i=2 exit

i=2 < 4 so enter

1st team > add low pts (player B) > remove player b from quee> i=3 so continue

2nd team > add low pts (plyaer c) > remove player c from quee> i=4 out

start the battle

 

Results: 1st team: 3000 pts + 400 pts = 3400 pts

2nd team: 2500 pts + 1000pts = 3500 pts

:) way better

This by a long long long way is the absolute worst update ever.

I have played this for years and if you didn't like who you were playing you left that battle.

Not having the freedom to chose your own battle is restrictive and will be the ending of Tanki for many,

as when the game is finished you are booted out to wait for another game especially for someone with low internet speeds .

There is no flow to this new rubbish  i.e back and forth struggle of war and no satisfaction of success when this is acheived

It is now rip sh1t and bust.

This is not a good move forward and I reiterate you will lose a lot more players.

Tanki is ruining the game for the last time. they are gonna have to do something good real fast to come back from this. lets look at just a few things that have led to this disaster. Its started (among other things) with no longer being able to do missions in pro battles. That caused a bit of a ruckus! How about more recently the repair kit? or no more thirty second golds? Ruining the friends list? Really tanki, what are you trying to achieve?

You can create a "Group" before hand then invite up to 3 friends select a mode, and the MMS will take care of the rest take you and your friends into a Map with the desired mode.

Wow so now u can sabotage legend battles even with the lowest rank of the game just invite them to ur group and play with the low rank :) Hats off Developers u guys completely lost this game :)
