Matchmaking is coming May 29th

Hi Tanki, i am unable to express the words i want to to comdem this update, who in their right mind thort it would be fun not to be able to pick a battle and also when eventually you find a battle you like with players you like you cannot stay there. Pls remove back to earlier time, game is not fun anymore.

ok....Apparently there are some players that dont like this update, 74 pages!!!......so are we spose to use all our accs to condem this update, prolly be more like 574 pages, dont you get it or dont you give a chit, you want peeps to spend but who will on a game that does not let you do what you want. If you want to close the game then just close it, dont fook about, all you are doing ATM is pissing people off'

Matchmaking is not actually a bad update, needs quick look up on the team balance. Teams are not balanced and players are immediately leaving when they find a tough team to play against, A penalty system should be introduced

Definitely not. But maybe some accumulative bonus for those that stay. Something like altering the crystal return rate maybe.

 

Stay for a full match and your crystal returns are x1.01 (101%) - ie, current reward plus 1%

This accumulates to a max. 110% for playing 10 consecutive battles without leaving.

Should you leave the battle early at anytime for any reason, including disconnects, your accumative bonus is reset to x1.0

The numbers can obviously be adjusted.

 

So now I have wasted my time typing this, everyone in tanki please feel free to ignore it.

Okay last four games of CP I got placed in and all in team behind:

 

first - 23 to 0 in Polygon (I left)

second - 35 to 3 in Alexandrov (I left)

third 12 - 0 in Massacre (I hate Massacre and never want to play it) ( I left fast)

fourth - 4 to 0 Highways ( we won 20 to 11)

 

Get rid of this update!!!

 

fifth:  Finally start at 0-0 in Highways but we win 50 to 16.  Total mismatch.

 

One last thing.  In Highways CP battle a good team is devised of snipers and those that go for CPs.  With NO CHOICE placement you don't get that strategy thing. 

 

CHOICE is good!

I remember when tanki had 100,000 players on line. tanki keeps giving us new features that take away our choices, and players keep chosing to not play so much. This upgrade is the worst I have seen, and will increase my frustrations in the game, thus reduce the time I will play. And I have not spent $$$ on tanki in 18 months. 

 

HAPPY customers spend $$$

 

Frustrated players start new accounts where they don't play against tankers 7 ranks above their own equipment, which is now randomly inevitable. And finishing in top 3 on winning team could now take hours. WOW!  This is a real looser.

In the next V-Log TO will talk about how most players have welcomed the MMS. They'll admit there were a few who did't like it, and then explain that most of their frustrations were caused by bugs in the game and a misunderstanding of the game's new mechanics.

 

They'll go onto explain that most of the bugs have since been fixed and that players are adapting. They'll announce a sale and everyone will go giddy over free crystals, double battle funds, and GBs and then all will be forgiven and forgotten.

We’ve been working on this update throughout the last year: launched open tests, collected feedback, fixed different bugs and issues. And now, finally, we’re crossing the finish line!
 
With the server restart 02:00 UTC on May 29th, a new mechanic for connecting players in standard battles will be released on live servers.

I think we have to play in groups to avoid being sent with the losing team again and again.

 


 

The problem again is 'groups', I said and visualized that since the first matchmaking test.

 

Solutions:

  • Limit the number of groups to 3.
  • Lower the prize of PRO Pass for friends to play together.
  • In PRO Battles remove Autobalance OFF, Autofinish OFF, Friendly Fire, limit battles to 4 hours, and remove other options that make PRO Battles abusable. That way there would be more reasonable battles that many would like to join and maybe in the future make it free, except for very pro battles with maybe all the weird settings available, for clans to practice.

Basically I choose the battles I fight

 

 

Now with MM.....time to fight, team that sucks ....(10 Vs 2).....or simply appear to be massacred

 

........return to normal mode,.....plz    :unsure:

I love choosing maps, seasons and sides too, but Tanki needs Matchmaking. The imbalances and glitches can be fixed.

I wonder why they run those checks. Everytime they release something new, it's full of bugs ^^

CHOICE is good!

You might want to avoid CP battles for the time being.  There might be a bug whereby multiple players on same team capturing same point get no score for that point.  Capture it solo, or get nothing.

Guys, let me tell you something. I thing it is high likely that they will do another update in the short future. Once you click the "Battle" button, your tank will go through a random combination of turret, hull, paint and protection then got thrown into a random battle with random map and mode. Isn't it interesting? You can't wait to have it, right? Do you still keep playing this game?

So i played a CP

1.59 wait time, not so stellar, esp. as purported avg was 1.55

Rank was standard, 1star-FieldMarshal, teams looked to be about even 

I didn't get to see if the scoring system was fixed when multiple teammates cap a point, but I want to know, is it 25xp/point capped or 25 score? 25 score makes a lot more sense.

I can not see how Matchmaking is something good. Constant waiting time, never get to play a 15min game only partial games and you lose even more time from it when you have to change your tank, and before you know it the game is over and you have to start all over again. Would be great if you at least could stay in the game when entering continue. In short it sucks and I wonder what people testing it find so great that TankIOnline felt propelled to implement the change.

 

Here’re the main goals of Matchmaking:

  • provide fair conditions for all players in the battle (nobody can predict what map will be next, who will be on the enemy team, what equipment to use); <--- No choice = fair ? Haha !
  • make it easy and simple to find battles; <--- Find? Who finds what? We didn't have problem to find battles to play in the old system !
  • create battles with equal team composition; <--- Playing with 3~4 ranks above me = equal ? Haha !
  • fill the teams from the start of the battle; <--- take longer to wait and then we will find we don't like the maps, equipment don't fit the map !
  • exclude the possibility of sending passive mults to the enemy team; <--- then who are those mults there we encounter frequently? Do you send them?
  • provide easy to use system to play with friends and clan members in groups. <--- a more complicating system = easy to use system? Haha ! Do you know how did we ask friends to play battle before? We could even call up friends as reinforcement in the middle of a battle before !
All lies ! Lies ! Fake game ! This game is only lies but nothing !

About this downgrade you call MatchMaking.

 

You take away my choice of maps to play and the team to join. You force me to join a random map with no clue how my equipment or better yet, my playing style with my eq suits that map. You had the "Battle!" button on the menu for quite a long time, but we do not see the stats how many players chose to use that option. Forcing MatchMaking to everyone is a bad move, really bad. It takes away our freedom of choice to play what we want. Make it optional and see how popular wit will become.

 

You keep the Pro-battles just like they were, but now I have to pay crystals to play like I used to, choosing maps and teams on my own. Again, this is not an upgrade, this is a downgrade and shows how arrogant and ignorant you are towards players and this seems to be by choice. I know not everyone agrees with me, but if you bow to one direction, you unwillingly show your asshole to the opposite direction. Guess which scenery I am currenlty watching?

 

This downgrade is the cherry on top. There has been so many bad or downright ****ty "upgrades" over the past two years and you keep loosing players. Why continue? Why not admit that mistakes were made and get some most-wanted features back. Like the map "enhancements". You claim that maps were edited to suit 10 vs. 10 players and now you have decided that MM is 8 vs. 8 players but you do not bring the old maps back. Lame excuses is all I have heard. Hull modifications were also just horrible. Now, instead a number of different hulls, we have basically three different hulls with only minor differences. Wasp used to be really fast, but now it is just a slimmer version of Hornet. Mammoth and Titan are way too close to each other and Viking, Hunter and Dictator do not differ that much on the stats. You say game balance, I say bull****. The ultimate balance will be when all turrets and hulls have same stats.

 

Last but not least: REMOVE MAGNUM TURRET ASAP!!!! This was the ****tiest upgrade ever ever ever to happen on TO. Maps are not designed for this turret and it has ruined a nubmer of old maps that were fun to play. The worst example is Noise. Stick magnum somewhere were the sun will never shed even a single ray of light. Ever.

 

 

Even though it takes me ages to find a map that suits a sniper, the odd thing is when I do get one, the battle is even more unfair than it was before. The enemy team isn't full of snipers looking for me. And neither is my team, so I get to pick off everyone a lot easier. They all arrive with their slow dictator/ricochet tanks without Shaft protection and they haven't a chance. It's like shooting fish in a barrel.

 

 

Just want Tanki devs to look at the sheer number of players liking posts on this thread that think MM is a bad update.

 

Oppose this with the sheer lack of players liking posts that think MM is a good update.

 

Tanki..we want to choose our maps, not be forced onto maps we do not like.

 

Yes you can choose maps in Pro mode, but we have missions to complete and waiting minutes to join a map we do not like is backward.

 

Sort this out soon or I am off, after playing this game for over 4 years.

 

 

2nd day of being way outranked, therfore outhulled/outgunned and beat down instantly.  Also being loaded into half over games where the team I'm FORCED to join is loosing CP like 30 to maybe 2.  MM is just a bad experience all around.

 

 

As if the MM update wasn't already terrible enough, there have been continuous server restarts throughout today.

 

 

Been in this game since 2012. Now i am not playing this game apart from doing missions. What can i say?

 

Yeah we used to create private pro battles to organize save the gold. But there wont be any fund in private battles. Lol so that option is also gone. Dont know how long i am going to believe that everything is going to get fixed. There is a lot i would like to write about but guess what it is just useless(posting after almost 7 months on this forum)

I must say - Tanki has screwed up a couple of things in the past - disastrous Xtanki, tracers on shafts, weakening of turrets, cutting down on play time, and more. However this is a mistake of biblical proportions. Unfortunately I think this has been all planned. Tanki has put too much effort in setting this update up to just roll it back. All Tanki really wants is to be mobile. So now with matchmaking it is. The games used to me 60 min, then 15 min., then 10 min. and with matchmaking they take about 4 to 6 min. One good toilet sitting time. Think how many people will see those annoying commercials between the games when playing on their phones. That's right, from a PC game Tanki has transformed itself into a phone game. It took away free choice of battle, choice of players, people don't continue with the same players on the same map, maps are mismatched to tanks, game is even more uneven, people forced to play maps they hate, people are forced to pay for Pro games or join a clan - what if they don't want to. Now we can't log into our accounts... I am at my last week in Tanki. I will get the awards for week ten of the missions' chain and end on that note.

and far from good, i have no choice in which battles i want to participate in or with whom. the random nature of the so called matchmker means that a player who specialises in one certain turret and hull configuration will usually be at such a disadvantage as to make the game missions unplayable, mammoth shaft on island !!!! lol give it a rest. I smel a rat and that rat is sales of turrets and hulls and supplies, all hail the great tanki cash cow.

 

 

Tanki got REKT by noob updates. Matchmaking doesnt analyse who has drugs and no drugs.

 

 

They worked for 1 year and now still they have  server crashes and they said they  will  recheck bugs last week  and now Server crashes ,,,,,

Why implant if it doesn't work properly -_-

 

 

Random Map??? I have a 5.37 K/D and I do not want play in a Random Map, to reach the missions!!! I want to choice!!!

 

 

 

 

so i just went through the last 20 pages and checked the profiles of all the cry babies... guess what i found in common in most of them? just guess...

 

turns out 90% of the people complaining are shaft/railgun/magnum campers! :lol: :lol:  :lol:  most common turret is railgun, closely followed by shaft... 90% of these shafts use titan/mammoth... while for railgun users if they use wasp/hornetthe most it's because they play xp/bp... subtract away their xp/bp time on wasp/hornet(indicated by time on their zero module)  from the time they use on wasp hornet and you'll find that outside of xp/bp they usually use viking or titan with railgun...

 

and 90% of these people have high k/d

 

 

These liars are just some kids crying they can't join winning teams  on sniper/shaft maps so they can increase their k/d...

 

 

seriously, check the profile of the next few people who complain... chances are that most of them are campers who play for k/d... and we all hate these kind of cowards, don't we??

​The last time it was tried and mentioned that it was a test​ not official, they have improved lots of bugs then the last time it was tested on the live servers, before the ranks where all over the place, now we only see a few ranks out of hand in Legend battles etc. But the massive other lags, not being able to complete missions etc are much better then the last test. They've worked for a year and done a pretty good job, now their working on the other little issues while it's active ;p. 

Reallyyy? 1 year group devs worked and just improved rank separation, huge job well done then .

I checked 2 accounts and found 2 Isidas, no high k/d Shafts.

 

I figured 2 is a very small sample, so I checked again and I found:

  • 1 Fire and Isida with Viking
  • 1 Isida with Viking and Hornet
  • 1 Fire, Shaft and Isida with Viking and Hornet.
  • 1 Railgun with Viking
  • And 1 Thunder and Fire with Viking

you are a shaft camper who only plays for the kills and k/d... you only want to join winning teams on shaft maps... you are the kind of people i'd be happy to get rid of.

I checked 2 accounts and found 2 Isidas, no high k/d Shafts.

you checked those I quoted??
