i like...the whole update, but the friend list has a bug. that's the only thing i hate in this update :P

hello pro_guy... The best thing about this update for you, is that you will be able to spend all your time playing with yourself as no one else will still be playing soon.

This way, his only problem with the MMS - that totally insignificant bug with his friends list - will be gone too and he will be the happiest tanker here.

Don't forget to turn off the light in the developers' offices before leaving, pro_guy boy...

3 times I try to change game.... with exit and in again

3 times system back me to same game..ASL . with loosing score 56 to 5  ... of course I¨m in loosing team...

hate that update

It was not unfair. Tanki had faith in you and your abilities. 56 to 5 is nothing for you. You could have beat them even it if was 99 to 5. You are in the matrix. You are Neo. Take the Red pill.

I have been playing this game for about now 10+ years

This is the most ridiculous addition to this game

The reason why Tanki Online is so successful until now:

1/ No waiting for a game - matchmakers now make you wait

2/ Choice of game- matchmakers has taken this away

What this is doing is taking away choice and the ability to log in and play immediately

Everything a game should have for 2018

as the world continues to grow more impatient  and the choices in life have gone wider it seems to are taking steps back to avoid this

Disappointing as additions like these Tanki unfortunately will start declining  in numbers making way for online games more focused at their audiences.

If your Player Numbers start declining don't blame us.

What you should be actually doing instead of added 10,000 new paints every season is adding more constructive and financial profitable additions such as:

1/ Allowing members to sell their profile, tanks, paints etc to other members and tanki take a piece of the sale

2/ New maps on a more regular basis would keep the game new and fresh

3/ more visual with the travel of the bullets/ammo as it travels to its destination

things that will keep your gamers staying(who cares really about the massive amount of paints?)

Excuse me...but you must be just joining the forum. If you check the threads above, we have all offered suggestions to the devs already, including myself.

Come on. Let him be. He just wanted to say something.

Same problem again. I play first battle and go back to lobby, try to join the next battle and I get the perpetual loading bar bug and have to exit client. Makes me wonder if this is what's affecting the AFK players in battles, while they're deciding if they can be bothered to reopen Tanki their Tank is still in battle getting slaughtered.

Hi everyone,

If you don't want MMS, complaining will not be effective.  I am starting a revolt.  When I see 26K players at peak hours, I know devs won't bring back the old Tanki.  So everyone, please dont try to play MMS.  The day the number of players drop below 10K at peak hours, you dont have to say anything and the change will come very quickly.  So you can keep complaining BUT PLEASE DON'T LOG IN TO PLAY

NO of Players now" 21.5K - Devs still dont feel the pressure to remove MMS

Match Making ideas

Match Making could use some changes.

1. Make the group limit at least 6, in case you want a few more friends to join.

2. Add a group chat. So your group can chat before battle and maybe plan on tactics.

3. When you click "Play" there should be an option for "Small", "Medium" and "Large" maps. And you select what sized map you want to join, which should reduce the waiting time for battles.

4. Only allow friends around your rank to join the group. Like for Warrant Officer 5's they can only be with WO1 to 1st Lieutenant perhaps. So it is more of an even playing field.

5. Another cool option would be spectator. So before the battle for like 5 seconds you enter spectator mode to fly around the map for 5 seconds to get a look at it all and then the match starts.

My suggestion is to vote.

Only with two options. Yes or no.

Yes, for those who agree with the changes and no for us, the opposition.

If you agree with my proposal, take this photo after your post.

my vote "NO"

Another day...
Another day the MMS is still here...
Another day I will not be playing tanki...
Another day that the devs can Foxtrot Oscar...

R.I.P. tanki 2009 - 2018

Thanks for cropping out the rest of my post, where I actually criticised the system and explained that it may not work properly at low ranks.

Matchmaking isn't perfect and it's less than what I expected. But compared to the system we had previously, it is basically the same in terms of ease and convenience.

It is not even vaguely close to the same in terms of ease and convenience...is there anyone anywhere that likes to wait in queue?  Is lack of any choice and no control now called convenience?...I don't think so...I think it would be called inconvenience.

Pros:

 - No need to sit and look through the battle list, trying to find a suitable battle that has recently started, has nearly full teams and an even score.

True, the 30 seconds to find a suitable battle of your choice is not needed now.  It has been replaced with being tossed into any old random battle, with no consideration for winning or losing team, time left in the match, suitable map, or rank brackets...and usually takes a minute or two to accomplish this.  We could have done the same exact thing in one second by clicking on any random battle from the battle list.

 - Single click to get into battle

Didn't a single click get us into a battle previously?...so this is no advantage or "pro"...it's a wash  if not, I would be happy to click my mouse twice for a battle of my own choosing.

 - Better fund distribution

For the losing team this is true, but at the sacrifice of part of the winning teams take.  I certainly make way less per battle than I did previously when I'm on top.  Plus this has NOTHING to do with MM...it is a separate issue that could have been easily applied to our battle list style of operation.

 - No mults

Less mults...I've already run across several passive insert players and, now, the box collector has become the drag on the team...and if the team is losing many players just sit and do nothing while waiting for the clock to run out....every bit as bad (maybe even worse) than a mult.  I never minded mults much because they tended to be evenly distributed..one or two for each team and they made great, easy targets to boost scores....I personally almost never had a complaint against mults.

Cons:

 - No way to choose the map

 - Sometimes low rank accounts get in battles (hopefully will be fixed by proper rank limits)

 - Games not always full

 - No autofinish

 - Waiting times are sometimes way too long (might be a bug)

The cons are vast and WAY more numerous than what you have here....death of team spirit, apathetic attitudes of some players, nothing to do while waiting in queue, no continuity between matches, wait for a battle and get your momentum just to get dumped back into the queue to lose it and get bored for the next match with an entire different team on a different map...no battle continuation, missions have been made much more difficult especially box missions, no way to choose duration of a battle (partial or full), no way to choose teammates (I looked at names and scores previously), much more time need to complete missions with MM, a general loss of fun from poor mechanic and an overall pall of ANGER, ad infinitum.

I'd say half a pro to a dozen or more cons.

So like I said, it's far from a perfect system, but it works almost as it should and there's always room for improvement.

It is so very FAR from a perfect system that it is almost not workable...if you bend over to take what ever Tanki dishes out, it can be managed like a significantly debilitating illness can be managed.  This does not make it a good or even remotely close to a good system...in fact it is absolutely AWFUL, but it can be dealt with...painfully.  The only real improvement would be to SCRAP MatchMaking

A well thought out analysis, and you also must take into account another con. When you are finally matched with a game, you are probably more likely to be matched into a game that has players dropping out due to the amount of carnage happening to their team. Every time that I have started a game, I am dropped into an atmosphere where I am surrounded by enemy tankers filled to the brim with modifiers, and the unceasing sound of my teammates exploding. I am going to try it again today to be sure that my assessment is correct, but it is hard to argue with the overwhelming majority of tankers here, whether I have a good experience or not.

If you plan on keeping MMS (which is probably a yes considering you haven't pulled it out for re-working yet), then at least remove these two types of missions:

1) Collect drop boxes; drop box mults are still there, more than ever now.

2) Take one of top 3 places in winning team; impossible now since you just keep putting me into battles with legends and lower

I had a drop box collect mission today morning, and I don't want to go around and collect 10 double damages, so I used my free change and guess what... it gave me the "take one of top 3 places in winning team" mission instead...

Hi,

As soon as i saw that if we join the map we got a losing team ( noob team ) and some times we got a winning team ( pro team ) . That's the problem . They have to fix the problem , then all the players will be able to like it, then the tankers will love the " Matchmaking system ".

I hope they will fix this .

so far the game loading time has gotten better .

BUT

unbalanced games / lag / not being able to pick our own battles / battling with our enemy's / and so much more is not right .

*** Just noticed today the health loading bar is not loading fast enough. no sooner you hit your button , you end up being killed when your being attacked  . it was slow before but now its gotten real bad... not sure if its lag or to do with internet . it was fine on other account,,

My playing time is down to a few minutes at a time just out of curiosity. I am here to see how this disaster is going to turn out. I am having a lot of fun reading all these complains from the majority of the players and apologists like you and Bozo88 trying to defend the biggest screw up by tanki! Just when I thought that the stupidity had reached its pinnacle, Tanki managed to kick it up to notches never seen in the scale of stupidity!

So you're just here for the action? Actually, it's the same for me..

ecea350c59f373626d0495d4bb030439.jpg

Bozo

you name says it all. I rest my case. I guess you must be a true Bozo in real life to ignore the complains from the majority of the players. But then again Soviet style dictatorships are for sheep like you.  Always towing the party line and trying to defend something as atrocious as this. As i can see from your fix list even you will admit that this is something that not too much thought went into it.

... and your name looks like it was written by a dog chasing his tail on a keyboard. jjg??? no wonder what you say never makes any sense.

OK... three MM games. I was on the winning team on one, and all three were a slaughter, so none of the games were evenly matched. None of the three were enjoyable in the least. MM does not make things more evenly matched, but in fact, it seems to make things even more lopsided. At least when we could choose our games, I could compare scores to try to enter a close game. I have found that entering a close game was a very good way to get better scores for myself. MM has completely eliminated close games, so far as I can tell, and thus has created a worse-case scenario for the situation that it was made to eliminate.

I do not know what stats that the devs are basing matchmaking on, but they are missing some vital piece(s) somewhere, and no matter how much data that they include, they will never be able to anticipate a perfect match. When I had a choice, I personally have waited for up to 5 minutes, waiting for what I have determined a perfect match. I obtain more kills, experience, and crystals by waiting for a more balanced game than I would by impatiently jumping into a game, simply because I wanted on the winning side.

Tanki devs need to stick the basic format that works, because change to appease a few players who cannot figure out how to find a niche for themselves and get better scores, is not change for the better. Eliminating choices is NOT a clear way forward. Let the few players whine about unfair matches when we all have a choice. I have limitations that will always keep me from being among the best, but you don't see me whining about those guys who figure out what I'm doing, and sneak up on me 20 times in a game. They are just better than I am and deserve the kill. I don't need Tanki devs to try to level the playing field for my shortcomings.

GET IT RIGHT GUYS!!!    LET THOSE WHO CAN, DO; AND LET THOSE WHO CANNOT, DIE.

Sincerely,

BADAX

Totally Disgruntled Player
