Matchmaking is coming May 29th

I was doing homework, so I did not waste any time. It was not my own connection acting up. The server was just super laggy today, and if my connection acted up, I would not have been able to see chat moving.

Not to forget that, had it finally put you in a battle, you would have been kicked out for inactivity - the green bar stuck at 99%. :lol: :D :lol:

I suspect you are matching Groups against Random.

 

The game is not fun anymore.

Had a taste of Drones too... You ruined the game.

It is so frustrating that nothing will be done about MatchMaking no matter how much we vent. 

 

I am sick to death of being put on the losing team...every damn time.  I don't care that the loser funds have been increased...I don't care that there are double battle funds and that payouts are attractive even for losers. I like WINNING.  I hate to try my best and than have half the team quit to be replaced by new meat...constant loss means defeat no matter what you do.  I hate getting spawn killed. 

 

MATCHMAKING IS TERRIBLE AND AWFUL AND...well, JUST AWFUL

 

We are helpless and can do nothing other than take what is dished out to us, or quit.  I hope no one EVER sends these jokers any real money...even if it shuts the game down...a curse on these poxy dev fools.

I'm sure i'm not the only who experienced this. This happened to me twice. Was in a CP battle and when it ended, i pressed continue and was landed in a CTF battle. Second time, i was in a CTF battle, pressed continue when the battle ended and landed in a Rugby battle. Its a minor issue, but nevertheless, an issue.=)

This system is not working properly AT ALL.

 

I always end up with fewer people in my team.

 

Good players in my team is better than bad players, and bad players is better than empty spaces.

 

But the Matchmaker gives me empty spaces in my team.

Look at this battle.

Massacre TDM.

 

I was playing Titan-Shaft and I couldn't move out of the base.

You can see in the picture, blue team in our base, spawn killing.

 

#2 on my team was a wasp-fire (ridiculous combo for massacre tdm), but he knew how to play, and held his K/D above 1.

 

#3 was the match-winner in our team - a hunter isida who stayed by me for the full 10 minutes. 

We shared overdrive with each other, and thats why we won.

 

But seriously, you promised 8 vs 8, so why do I find myself playing 3 vs 6?

Another brilliant piece of matchmaking:

7 vs 8 and in that 7 you put 3 mults who play full battle and refuse to quit.

 

I don't see how this matchmaker is an improvement.

 

In the 2 minutes waiting time, I could have manually searched for a competitive game.

Now it sends it me into unbalanced teams and blowouts, and I have nowhere else to go to do missions.

Chalk another great experience up to matchmuking. Kill 50 enemies mission, takes a while with Vulcan so off we go to - Kunger winning whitewash - to Desert winning whitewash- back to Kunger winning whitewash - back to Desert winning whitewash- Kunger again to win by miles again and . . . . . . Kunger . . . to lose by miles. 

 

6 matches on two maps all of which are total blowouts. 

 

Good to see the new system has sorted out the problems with the old one. 

 

I think I'll go and play a pro match or two just for the novelty of choosing a map, well until the pro pass expires anyway!

You did waste time because you could have played 4-5 battles instead of waiting for an hour, that sounds like a perfect time wasted. If your connection would have acted up, it doesn't mean you wouldn't see the chat, it could've been only a delay and probably your connection caused you to wait for an hour.

The lag around 2 hours before server update yesterday, was ridiculous, the devs don't understand that huge battle funds are been taken away when players are kicked out from battles due to intense server lag, giving everyone weird tanki movements...

Legit no one could even play,all they did was type in the chat...

 

Why cannot devs remove MMS because we dont like it? I still don't have a appropriate response to this. They said MMS is the best update. LOL! Im sure it is when 99% of the players hate it

if more then 2 player capture same point in CP(no pro battle) non of them get any score. Bug or part of new update?

Don't know about others but I don't get points in that case

Was reported in another thread - and thought it was fixed.

 

If not fixed, I'm staying away from CP... the "losers" could seriously have better score than winners by killing more than capping.

 

Don't know about others but I don't get points in that case

So, I decided to try some TDM for a change, and I get this unfortunate result.

Now, I could give my bottom five teammates the benefit of a doubt and say that my killer instinct opponents simply had the jump on my hapless teammates 90% of the time.  However, I cannot understand why my bottom five teammates didn't quit the match despite getting mauled alot.  Must be dat Double Battle Fundz incentive.  Perhaps they're stubborn.  Heaven knows, but I may as well get used to MM's risks before the dev's fix it weeks later (unless they have a fix nearly ready).

Sorry, Guys. MMS is here to stay, like it or not. Devs have told us (through the Mods and Helpers) that what Tanki puts asunder, no one can repair. Devs are the Dictators and like it that way. Dictators do not make mistakes (or will not admit to it) for to do so shows signs of weakness, lack of leadership. They like playing gods and looking down on the Commoners who beg for change. Yes, they get the change, but not as they expected nor as they were told. However, there is one thing missing in this Dictatorship....complete control of the people. There are no borders, we can come and go as we please. We can boycott, if we want. 

 

But I don't think MMS is THE problem or culprit. Think this is the straw that broke the camel's back. I've been playing for about 7 years. I've seen many updates, each one promises better gaming experience, better gaming environment, better....., better...., better...... In my opinion, I haven't seen very many good updates for the players. Sure, there have been some, granted. Like the increase in crystals for the losing teams. But like in the past, there's a catch. Well, I won't go into all that. This about MMS, not finances. 

 

That's my rant and rave. This game is no longer my "go to" game. Hasn't been in a long time. I'm spending more and more time in the forums and less and less time in battle. I used to spend hours upon hours here, but in the past couple years, not so much, and now, even less. There is so much I miss before this recent update. We are no longer the Community we used to be. The Dictators are seeing to that.

With the addition of matchmaking now out for a while now, I've become confused on one of the concepts. I've noticed that the average wait times fluctuate greatly in a matter of seconds. I've tested this by repeatedly clicking a battle on multiple game modes. The average wait times, have changed from as low as 54 seconds to a minute and 34 seconds in less than a second. This, of course, would make sense on the first few days, as thousands of people would be entering the game with many wait times. This doesn't make sense, two and a half weeks in, as thousands of people with past wait times have already been recorded. This can be proven in the algebraic expression (11xz+yz) / 12z, with x representing the average wait time per day, y representing the new data of recorded wait times today, and z representing the approximate number of people who play tanki per day. In order for the wait times to fluctuate this much, y, the daily wait time, would have to be 13 seconds higher than normal for the average to increase by one second, meaning y would have to increase by 469 seconds in only moments, to match the 54s to 1m34s. In this case, the general population of tanki would suddenly have been waiting eight minutes within a moments notice. Another possibility, which is just is unlikely, is that ten times as many people who currently play tanki, suddenly decide to join the game. The most likely reason, is that the average wait times are random, so that players don't fell alone when they are waiting a long time for battles. If possible, I would like somebody to explain this, and possibly change this.
