Matchmaking is coming May 29th

Just taking a few minutes while I wait to join an RGB match (just restarted after ELEVEN MINUTES waiting) to reiterate just how much I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE the matchmaking function.

 

My playing has diminished considerably since it began, and I forsee that declining to zero very soon with updates like this coming along.

 

Also, if you take away Guido Fawkes and Little Willie (I think) --- NO ONE LIKES MATCHMAKING!!!!!!!!!!

 

REMOVE IT ASAP!!!

 

Since I'm here on my THIRD go-ground to try and log in and get in a game (it's now been 25 minutes I've been trying to get into an RGB match to finish a mission) I just thought I'd take the opportunity to mention that I absolutely HATE matchmaking.

just being honest.  Nobody likes matchmaking and it makes everything lag so much.   I understand you guys want to improve the game but its not helping.  Matchmaking doesn't evenly distribute players among teams either.

Haven't played Barda since MM arrived, but I get dumped on Brest or Highland all the time. I'm not against the update or anything but sometimes I lose my patience :ph34r:

Another day another MMM (Mismatchmaking)

As you see I clicked tab after joining to find that I'm the lowest rank, very difficult to Finnish Top 3 that way, so I left.

 

EDIT:

Here I waited for 1 minute to join a battle that had less than 3 minutes left, to a badly losing team.

Just wanted to stop in and say that I STILL HATE MATCHMAKING.  I see that you have removed the forum on it, because everyone obviously hates it, and you just don't want to hear it anymore.

 

I don't blame you, since because of matchmaking, your product now sucks and your customers hate it.

 

I just got put into three consecutive battles, on a badly losing team, halfway through the battle.

 

My mission?  Come in in the top three on the winning side.  Matchmaking has made it virtually impossible to have any reasonable chance of success.

 

Thus I HATE MATCHMAKING and although you obviously don't want to hear it, I still want to tell you.

 

For as long as I continue to bother playing this crap game.  Once I stop (soon?) you won't have to hear it any more.

look we all want to be on the side that wins... just like we all want to be hooked up with that hot girl in online dating

 

but obviously only some of us can win and some of us have to lose.

 

every battle half the people win and the other half loses..

 

so if you're losing more than winning it means other people are winning more than losing because the average is always 50-50. and this is balance. the people who are better win more.

 

and if you're wondering why your team always loses... either you're just super unlucky or more likely your team loses because you're in it.

 

just like you wonder why you never get hooked up with that hot girl because you're a fat 55 year old man

hahaha .... you should have chosen a different career other than writing fiction because you suck at it.

Matchmaking is just horrible. Almost every game I'm dropped into a team that is losing heavily or outnumbered. It sucks so much that I'm not playing regular battles anymore. There's no enjoyment.

If there is a last-cap-wins in CTF or 90+ kills in TDM, they should close them from the available pools. I mean, what good is it entering a battle with the opponent leading 6-0 and is already halfway to the base with the flag in hand? They need to fix the algorithm of battles available. If it is tied or within 1, then I can understand. But why waste our time putting us in battles where the outcome is not in doubt?

Why doesn't that matchmaking system take to onto the Island map?

 

Since the release of the matchmaking system, I was hoping for this new system to take players onto all maps, including small sized maps such as Island and Duel. I have now noticed that this matchmaking system keeps on taking players to the same maps all the time. That's not how the matchmaking system suppose to do. Players should be taken to any existing map, from the whole list of maps. That is maps from A to Z. For example, the map zone is not being used as a random selected map in the matchmaking system.

 

What I expect now for the matchmaking system is for the release of upcoming updates to improve it. Those updates should feature the ability for the matchmaking system to take players to all random selected maps (A to Z) and make all matchmaking battles perfectly balanced out in team battles.

 

I have previously explained in detail the flaws and bugs that the matchmaking system went through. Matchmaking battles are not balanced at all. That means when one of more players leave any of the two team, the matchmaking system does not replace the missing players in the free spaces as it was plan last year when Cedric Debono first revealed how the matchmaking system would work in one of his live streams.

 

Because of this lack of matchmaking balance in team battles, I have noticed that many players hate the matchmaking system and argue between each other that this matchmaking system should be removed. I do not want the matchmaking system to be removed, but instead improve how it works and how team battles are supposed to always be full and in full swing no matter which map players battle on.

 

When entering a matchmaking battle, the system is supposed to filter thousands and thousands of players across the world to find players of the same rank. If there are not enough players of the same rank, then the rank bracket would become wider and wider, as expected, until there are enough players to play on both teams. What the matchmaking system must also do is to reserve lots of players which would then be randomly selected and added onto any random teams if one of more players leave the battle during the round. If one of more players leave the current round during battling time, then the matchmaking system is supposed to randomly pick any players from the list of players in the cue and add them to any of the teams randomly.

 

I hope that you folks clearly understand what I am taking about, and please insist on asking developers to improve the matchmaking system like I mentioned about. Please don't forget to like, and post comments on what you think on my overall overview of how the matchmaking system is supposed to work.

 

There is also another problem with the balance of matchmaking battles. When I enter any random battle in the matchmaking system, I always get put into a losing team. Very rarely, me and my friends get added to a winning matchmaking battle.

 

Quite a lot of times, I have noticed that it take 10 to 20 minutes before entering a matchmaking battle. Wheat I mean is that it takes too long for me to join a matchmaking battle by the time I click on the button. This problem happens with all matchmaking battle modes. The amount of time it usually takes for me and other players to join matchmaking battles is too long. The time must be reduced to only five seconds. There are no reasons to waste so much time when joining matchmaking battles.

I had to drug super hard to get the win, and I don't like doing that at these low ranks because I kinda get bad vibes from kids who are still learning to rotate turrets and accumulating supplies.

 

Your matchmaker is not making competitive battles for me.

I always always always end up with fewer players on my team, and among those few, most are mults.

Hello! It's me suggesting 2 ideas in the game for matchmaking.

 

1- 

 

Group chat. 

 

We need a chat to talk and discuss about something just a small chat.

 

2-

 

I guess the countdown should be shown on top and it shouldn't disturb the players.

Suggestion - currently all battles are limited to certain rank level, my idea is for special kind of battle which ignores the player tank and make battles depends on Tanks. I suggest this as a pro battle option, cause for normal battle, there will be some conflicts.

 

Mechanic - Introducing simple MU Score, like this, each turret have certain M level and MU done, so this will make a MU Score for that tank, each M level adds +10 and each MU done adds +1 for his MU level

Eg. Tank with following items:

      Fire Bird M1 5/10 MU   -  (10 + 5)

      Hornet M1 8/10 MU      -  (10 + 8)

    Protection Modules:

      Wolf M1 5/10 MU          -  (10 + 5)

      Fox M2 3/10 MU           -  (20 + 3)

      Lion M3 6/10 MU          -   (30 +6) 

 

    Total MU Score of the Tank  =  (10 + 5) + (10 + 8) + (10 + 5) + (20 + 3) + (30 +6) 

                                                  =   107 Score.

On matchmaking - just as ranks have chart, minimum and maximum ranks that they can put into battles, this also have a amount, eg. only 100 to 150 are allowed for the battle 

Special Rule - you cannot change the Equipment during battles.

 

Advantages

1. people keep whining about people with stronger tanks specially upgraded tanks and nuke everyone in battle, be always first and get most crystals too, so its not balanced. this is balanced version for them, so they can battle with same power level as them.

 

2. people can play with their low tank friends and also this will show how much skilled the player is.

 

Dis-advantage - cannot add this to normal battles cause equipment change in middle of battle will rune the full system.

While I recognize the imbalance in team size is a big issue (across all ranks), I do not agree with your assessment that those players are mults. Keep in mind that many of the low ranked players started playing this game only recently and they're still trying to figure out how to everything works. You can't expect them all to play like experienced tankers. The huge score difference between you and all the other players in the battle already indicates the impact of experience among these low ranks. On top of that, if your team has less players than the other team, those newbies on your team are going to have an even harder time competing.

seal-club means what?

 

all I'm asking is 8 vs 8, where equipment balanced, and skill (as measured by their efficiency rating) also balanced.

 

Also Mr. OnionBrain, if I drug hard in lower rank battles, then OPPOSITE team players should leave, not mine.

And it is always the case that my team has fewer players.

 

And I'm quite prepared to play without supplies, but when we are outnumbered 1 : 2, then I will use supplies if I have them.
