Matchmaking is coming May 29th

I am not talking about being spawn killed. I leave those games too. I am talking about not leaving just because there are higher ranks on your team. Fight and you might find yourself winning.

If ranks are balanced and I don't have Finish Top 3 mission, I stay even if I'm at least the 4th rank.

If the other team is full of high ranks and my team is not, I'm likely to leave, specially if I'm the lower rank. By leaving I'm also helping the team I'm leaving.

Thefact you quit because you are teh lowe ranks in a given game is on you, not on MM.

Suck it up and play.  If your gear is MUed you should be able to play against ranks several step above you. Sure some games you might get roughed up but other gams you'll shine.  If you won't challenge yourself blame the guy you see in the bathroom mirror.

Here's a game I was the lowest rank, tied with a team mate. Entuire enemy team higher ranks.  The enemy had 4 Isidas who tried to Isida train all game long.  I let my team mates to the attacking. I made my role to bust up the Isida train. Which I did all night long.  Yeah I finished in last but with a 9:3 kill ratio. And my actions definitely crimped the enemy strategy.

Get out of your fuzzy comfort zone. Dare yourself to get better.

Your post is a complete pile of garbage.

Who would call that a balanced battle?

First of all its 7 vs 8.

Secondly, in those 7, the matchmaker has put atleast 4 mults on red team, while there are none in your team.

Its 3 vs 8, and you feel proud of doing well because your team outnumbered them?

This matchmaker does not work as promised.

Battles are NOT 8 vs 8 always.

Sometimes I play 6 vs 8 for 8 to 9 minutes.

And sometimes when battles are 8 vs 8, then the distribution of mults is not equal.

One team always has 2 or 3 mults more than the other team.

Matchmaking was supposed to distribute good and bad players equally in both teams.

TO has only itself to blame for ~25k players online at peak time these days.

They should have spent more time on this matchmaking system and then released it.

Always dishing out half-finished features.....

No wonder players are moving to Fortnite these days.

Fortnite's player count is way over 1 million these days, every single day.

So most of the player in Tanki are mults? About 50%?

And MM should distribute the mult equally in both team? Interesting concept.

By mult I mean bad player.

And they promised the system will distribute them equally in both teams.

And they promised pro pass will be free when matchmaking comes.

Bunch of liars running the game, player count dropping every year..

hahahahahah

Im off to fortnite.

Will always remember old tanki - where missions could be done in pro battles.

<3 (2009-2016)

Good memories of past years, but even though we get a lot of crystals now, game is not as fun as it used to be.

I have played more than 20 similar battles.

I thought they would fix it if I reported, but I'm no longer wasting my time posting screenshots.

Devs are quit determined to take this game "forward"

What is your main account so we can check out what is a good player?

Good player: Minimum 250 or 300 score in 10 minutes

Profile will not tell you that because it includes parkour hours.

Also, this could very well be my main account, for all you know.

Players of any rank can give feedback.

On this account, I have K/D of 2.8 and 6.6k experience in 2 hours.

This translates to about 350+ exp per 10 minute game (removing the impact of +50% exp from beginners pass), and since score is more than exp, it is safe to say I average about 500 score every 10 minute game.

I also have posted screenshots with 1000+ score in 10 minutes here.

If you want, I can look it up and show you.

Im not expecting everyone to be as good as a player as me, but atleast half as good (Instead of 500, I ask for 250 score per 10 minutes).

If players can't do that, then these players should be very carefully distribute equally in both teams, which their matchmaker promised, but does not do yet.

Depends on the definition of "dumped late"...

2 or 3 minutes gone by (7 min remaining) could be incentive.

5 minutes gone by... no way batteries (which I may never use) would be incentive enough.

5 minutes gone by and team losing significantly... doubt there's anything (TO willing to give) that will keep me in those battles.

If you're saying that winning some batteries when dumped into battle with 7 mins left “could be an incentive” to stay, then surely the chance to win some batteries when placed in the battle from the start is a good enough incentive to stop players leaving in the first place?...if the rest of Tanki's player base felt the same then there will be much less chance of anyone being dumped in battles that are already well under way.

Besides, I'd be quite happy trying to get a battery or 2 for a few minutes effort if I was dumped late into hopeless battles...probably more so than trying to get a pittance share of an useless loser fund, as it currently is in hopeless battles.

My comment was solely a response to the dumped-in part way aspect.

It's not the battle-fund that makes me want to jump ship on the "hopeless" battles...

I finish every battle I start unless... score is already out of hand before I arrive or - my team is not actively playing (sitting doing nothing, or just chatting, etc, continuously asking for gold - refuse to play with gold-mults).

I made my role to bust up the Isida train. Which I did all night long.  Yeah I finished in last but with a 9:3 kill ratio. And my actions definitely crimped the enemy strategy.

Get out of your fuzzy comfort zone. Dare yourself to get better.

Games, like many things in life, do different things for different people.  You seem to embrace challenge, great!  Some people want to play the game in a more low key style and relax.  This is every bit as valid a way to enjoy a game as the person that wants constant challenge.  In fact, I would guess the relaxed style player is way more common than the one that wants that constant challenge.  Look at many popular games that you go through the same levels each time to reach the level that you are trying to break through...this is actually one of the most common game formats.  People like that "comfort zone" as you call it because it gives a feeling of accomplishment.  Everyone knows Tetris.  You go through the first, say, ten levels easily then it starts to get harder...but people still enjoy the ten levels because the CAN DO THEM.  Many people get so good it takes a very long time to even reach that uncomfortable challenge zone.  They want the challenge, but want the comfort zone too. Not every one wants the stress or strain involved in "getting better" constantly.  Or they want to do it at a slow pace.  That is 100% as valid as the blitzkreiger that wants GodMode_On skills instantly.

You keep harping on MUing your gear to full MU.  First I think almost everyone is trying to do that all the time...it is a function of crystals, or actually, lack of crystals.  The big facile I see here is EVERYONE will be MUing to the max, so the wide rank brackets are just as  wide as when people only MUed a step or two.  In other words, a rank 11 fully MUed going up against a rank 20 fully MUed is going to lose the vast majority of the time...hell, that rank 11 going up against a rank 15 fully MUed is going to get creamed most of the time.  Your premise seems to be that few people will be MUing to the max.  I already see WAY WAY more fully MUed combos out there since the 3X weekly rewards of the summer and the advent of containers in weekly rewards.  This is part of Tanki's plan no doubt...spend the time to MU to the max (and get slaughtered in the process) or buy lots of crystals and get to level 10MU in a very short time (or, buy enough crystals and go to MU10 in a couple of minutes).

Then I have a question for you LittleWillie.  Back in the old days of Tanki when you had the nasty inconvenience of pouring through that intimidating Battle List that took up so much of your time, why didn't you just push "Battle Button" or one of the mode buttons?  Basically that is MM.  Well,...now we have the queue before a battle and the rank brackets were smaller with the Battle Button, but essentially the same thing as MM.  If you didn't like choosing a battle, why didn't you just use the Battle Button?

...blah blah blah...

Dude, I hate MM as much as the next guy, but MM NEVER promised that.  How could it possibly judge that?  People even have a hard time judging a "good" player because the term is just sooooo subjective. Equipment, maps, opponents, your concentration that particular game, on and on and on, the variables are probably close to infinite.

MM promised "balanced" matches.  It has failed miserably at balancing matches, but that is all it promised.  Originally Tanki pitched it as you would be playing against opponents of close rank and I even was naive enough to think that the useless "Efficiency Rating" would be the thing that matched opponents.  Then. not long before MM's release, they started saying MM would balance teams evenly...meaning an equal number of low ranked and high ranked players on each team.. Even I, who knew MM would be trash, never dreamed it would be a pitiful as it actually is...20 months!, my gosh!  :).  MM has proven itself to be stupendously terrible at creating balanced battles, but there is no way it could possibly cull "poor" players, or distribute them evenly since there is no way to objectively determine a poor or good player.

Question:

sharing the crystals between players considering their role in the battle not influenced by being on the winning or the losing side is valid only for MM games or supposed to be for pro games too? I had almost twice as many crystals as the second player on the winnig side and I got less crystals.

Capture the flag, we lose 15 contra 14, only 1 flag was the difference...

Good question. Lol

Maybe s/he didn't want to be sent to the winning team and not challenge her/himself.

Was good Matchmaking to be added only as additional option and only who want use it.

Nobody would use it.  Maybe LittleWillie, but I doubt even he would actually use MM if he had a choice again...maybe occasionally.

Because the Battle Buttone was in fact not the same thing as MM. You can write a paragraph stating they are teh same thing.  But that is not true.  So much for that.

Since this reply is 100% garbage I defer to your rubbish expertise.

Did it occur to you one of the other team chose to leave the game?  No, that would take process alien to you called "thinking".

Yes I consider  the teams more or less balanced.  There are a mix of higher ranks on each team.  Eveveryone had M3 gear at minimum.  If you cannot fight against m3+ gear with straight m3 gear then you suck noob.

II was in the game, you were not.  Tehre were not 4 enemy tanks idle.  They were pwned hard and bloody but that does not make them "mults".

If anything we were the lower ranked team and we won. Which is rather my point.

Don't make me mic drop yo again.

----

MM does not work as an option. It requires a large player base to participate.

So much noob whining all because they cannot camp their favorite map all day long, doing one thing over and over.  Learning make brains huwt.

I'm just saying that battles are being mismatched and that I don't like that. The message is not to you.

If you like MM so much go play more battles.

The highest ranked player on the other team was 0-kills and 18-deaths - and that does not seem odd to you?

-------------------------------------------------

And Match-Maker does it again...

Places me in a CTF battle with 4 minutes left, 4-0 for other team, and one of their "runners" hitting OD to make off with the 5th flag.

This crappy system does no one any justice. Not me - placed in an unwinnable position, and not the team getting pummeled. Any and all reinforcements will just hit exit as soon as they realize what is going on. Correction - I'm sure the "winning" team loves it as they can pad their bank account.
