Matchmaking is coming May 29th

Unless you are literally going into a losing team every single time without any exceptions, its not that unique of a case.
MM calculated that instead of making you wait longer for a new battle it put you in a losing team by working out that you might provide a good benefit to them.
It happened to me, I joined red team on assault losing team. 10-60.
I managed to independently carry the team to a 100-80 win. (Much to the dismay of the enemies).
In short, it might have been for a purpose, think of yourself as the chosen one to save a team from doom.

 

Unless you mean you get into a start of a battle and end up losing, its about how well the members on your team play. :)


at your rank, being a mega buyer gives you holy powers to do that but... not at his rank.

forms battle group with 2 friends and joins a battle

gets spawn killed the moment they enter. it's fine cause you know you can't win all of them. to the bitter end!!

didn't have time to look at scoreboard throughout the battle so finally sees it after battle ends...

Why are the two players with the same name in the image above. I have seen this one or two times in the past year or two. It is so weird. This is impossible. How does it happen? This makes me think of if you try to give two folders in Windows Explorer with the same name inside the same root folder. Its impossible!!!

MM has been out for about 5 weeks now... I still hate it. I don't want it improved (It can't be), I want it gone!

 

Guess how much money I spent during UFO Day and the last Crazy Weekend TO? Zero. That's right. Zero. Do you wonder why? I didn't even try and participate. 

 

Oh yeah. I also forgot to mention that the game is still no fun. Do you want to see how popular it really is? Make MMS an option and see how many play on it. Then, look at who is playing on it (if you can find any). New players or older?  

Switch to HTML5. It will make waiting much more quicker. I have waiting for about 1 or 5 seconds. Or if there is any issues you can go to the Complaint Book or maybe contact the Tanki Online Help people.

I don't know about any of you guys but I keep on playing the same exact players every single battle, give or take 2 or 3 players who logged off who were replaced by someone who just logged on. Even when I try switching up the game modes, I always see the same few people every battle. 

 

Is the TO player base really that small??? 

It's just like the last system. The same players are in the same battle, if you can remember. It comes with a little change.

Happening to everyone in game 5-6 weeks since implementation and you still cant fix the bugs? but if it was a bug with shop that disabled us to buy i can PERSONALLY guarantee it will be fixed in under 15 mins cause tanki dosnt care about the game only the money.

Despite all the complaints, I'm enjoying the MMS. Maybe it takes too long to load. Maybe the teams are occasionally imbalanced. Maybe rank limits are somewhat screwed up; which is, of course, only because of trolls exploiting the group system.

 

But the MMS is accomplishing its main goal: balanced battles. I've run a test over the past 10 battles that I've joined using the MMS, and every battle is usually quite close, a team maybe losing by 2 flags or 7 kills. I don't see what more we can ask for when Tanki has such a limited player base to match people with. It's a constant dilemma; if you want quick battles, you would need wider rank limits, and of course people will complain about that. If you want better rank limits, you'll need to wait longer. 

 

My point is that we need to just let the developers do what they physically can. Making imbalanced battles will only decrease their player base, so you can rest assured that they're working on it.

I dont mind waiting what i hate is when it still places me in an imbalanced battle or keeps placing me in imbalanced battles idk the struggles at your ranks but at higher ranks the scores are most times highly unbalanced cause most cps tdms dms or rgbs actually end when a team hits the goal. Which is insane cause the team is just so trash and you will be expecting legend ranked players to join and you end up with players who are WO5. . . happened 4 times in the same battle we lost 7-0. So basically at legend ranks its a 10% chacne you win or a 90% chance you get stuck on the losing team

Please remove personal supplies from non pro battle , only the ground supplies and let the overdrive be . As the objective of MMS is to provide balanced team and maps that are not upon us to choose giving fair play , therefore also players should only rely on the ground supplies and know and study their drop zones which involves skill . And talking about using personal supplies, pro battles will do , as someone can either play with or without supplies

This is a known bug in matchmaking and the Developer's have already mentioned it to us in 

. Honestly who would wait for 16 minutes or above in that matter, it was suggested in that V-log that you shouldn't wait more than 2 minutes, otherwise you will be facing a really long time to get into a single match, but honestly waiting that long while "Exit" is clearly there for you to attempt and try again..So anyway I only wait for 35 seconds, if I do not get put into a game within that time I will hit "Exit" and try again 35 seconds, I get sent into my desired mode within the next 1-5 seconds. Just try it out for the time being until they find a fix with the long waiting times it will really help you out I'm 99% sure. Edited by DRAKO523

This is a known bug in matchmaking and the Developer's have already mentioned it to us in This v-log. The development team of Tanki is honestly small, and the thing when it comes to coding and all that, it's not something that can be easily solved, you have to find the source of the trigger of the bug, and in a game like Tanki I can imagine, it's way harder to do than coding a Discord bot, and coding a discord bot is hard lol, I can image how hard it would be to code the game.

Common sense can reduce the amount of coding by a ton for example by realizing that This problem is inside MMS not inside of things like pro battles so therefore you know it has to do in the coding section of MMS. 2ND it does not appear when the player is in a group so therefore it must be outside of it. Those 2 things just eliminated over 2/3 of the coding for tanki if tanki devs cant be bothered to read through about 1/3 of the coding to stop a bug then they do nothing but prove my point. And so far they are doing nothing except that.

Mate, this is honestly just tiring to talk about. That's your opinion towards how the developer's are dealing with the system. My point of view and opinion is much different, I accept your opinion and respect it. But now is a good time to end this discussion because if it continues it'll just turn into a flame war.

what it is . is that when you have a friend list and you end up going to battle , if your on red and loosing but your friends are on blue . once someone leaves on blue a friend request is send to your friend and then its unfair battles . seeing all clans or friends end up over powering the battle.

 

also you said that lower ranks would no longer be battling with higher ranks well this week seen two battles with lower ranks in a legend battles. need to fixed..

Tat first paragraph is very interesting. I don't think it an happen too often but if does look like an expoitable loophole.  Devs need to her about this.

 

2nd paragraph... not quite true. MM fixed the problem the old MM had but it cannot promise low ranks will never fight high ranks.  What is fixed was the problem where blue would have 8 legends and red would have 8 Colonels.  Now each team would have 4 Legends and 4 Colonels in that situation.  When few players are waiting for a game MM will scrpe together what players it can at the moment.

yupe its still going on. I should explain it a bit better for some. if your on a winning team in the first say 3 minutes and the other team has friends they some how manage to send request to the battles and end up over taking the was loosing team and is now the fully friend winning teams. been in a few today which ended up not good . too many friends joining in on same team battles . I thought MM system was to cut back or even stop this from happening.

 

also yes there was a lower rank that was a friend who joined in a battle . did not get end photo I was wanting to do it but forgot . it was warrant officer four . which I could not understand how he managed to join legends and marshal ranks . there was no need to scrape players for battles when it was prime time for games. I understand if it was like around 2100 UTC time or about that when less are playing.

yupe. it is the friend battle button . which I thought this was fixed so these things would not happen for lower ranks in higher rank battles also . too many friends in same battles . ??

They acknowledged some issue about ranks and said a fix is coming.

 

One problem is that sometimes it doesn't add players to the winning team.

 

Here my team had the lower ranks and when the other team started dominating, then spawn killing, most in my team left. I don't blame them by the way, I'm just saying that MM doesn't balance teams. It's a trow away account so I don't care much.

been finding way too many lower ranks and friends dominating battles now then good battles. been in a few where the team battles were all one sided .

MM has created far more many problems than it has solved. GET. RID. OF. IT.  

you need to explain what is wrong so Dev's can understand why its bad.

 

for me just this week I'm having to wait for battles , not just for the full time limited but for more then 3 battles . I even did the 20 minute or more wait time and still not working. other then that load time t open battles once you get into a battle is slow. also noticed in some battles that the drop box's are falling slower then they should ( not sure about others ) ., not sure but if feels like your protection is lowered when its upgrading , not sure why. I have been taken out more this week with fire or freeze when my protection has been equip . I'm not sure what problems others are having

There's two major threads (in English) with hundreds of pages of complaints and in-depth explanations of why MM doesn't work and why it won't ever work (mine included), and so I find your response disingenuous. Rehearsing them again won't make any difference and the devs will never change their mind. They'd rather go out of business than concede MM is a total joke.

Sir when this thread was started in May that is when most players stated there opinion on the system and all the issues we had. things did improve for a bit and only had issues with lag and re-enter into battles . which if you think about it was the same issues we had before the MM system came into play. now things are back to how it was when it first started with those things I have mentioned above . so its good to state what issues now were having, also we all have different points of view and issues on our accounts. if we don't post the issues then how are they suppose to know what is happening . just my thoughts on it.

 

 

also to add to my complaint

 

when players drop gold with in the last minute of play . before MM system gold was not allowed to be dropped in the last minute of battle time. please fix it. so no golds in final minute before ending game.
