MM Delay has to be the height of inefficiancy surely. 

 

Sure you take your time looking through a list, that suits your map tastes, team requirements and rank levels.  But you end up in a battle where

unless it all goes seriously pear shaped you're going to play to the finish,

 

 

Delay gives you nothing to do but sit and wait, sometimes enough time to make a cup of tea.  It takes you to a map not of your choosing, of which many people don't seem to want to play on half of them.  It dumps you in seriously one sided teams, where players continue to leave for both the previous reasons.  And then you leave because its just a crap result.

 

If you really wanted this to work, you'd let ppl choose what maps they want, and what kind of ranks they will play with, similar to the old system, MM with some bells and whistles to make it work for players.  Not just jam everyone into one battle because its there and YOU want to fill it.

The wait times to get in a battle on a map you didn't choose is not what players want.  Put the list of battles back and allow players to invite friends.

 

Where is the data that shows players used the battles buttons before the update?  

 

MM system is the worst update I have seen to get into battles and battle with friends.

Long range turrets could have different spawn areas that short and medium turrets. I think that would help them.

The game before and after this MM update is not so much different. If you complain now you should have complained before as well in my opinion.

With or without MM: It might help to reduce the game modes, why having six that don't really add anything to the game play (and with MM it probably makes the waiting to be matched take longer). What is the fun of drugging like crazy to bring home a flag or a ball 10 times?

Team death match will do.

Keep the rest for players that pay. And quit giving away stuff all the time.

 

The few details that are not working on MM are minimal. I hardly have to wait very long and else I quit the queue and try again. Long is about a minute. Other games have some form of matchmaking as well. Similar waiting times.

 

If you don't like the rank of your opponents just leave the battle.

 

Free choice? Free choice to spend your time better why stick around?

 

96 pages of mostly complainers, they loose a lot more time filling these pages than they would with waiting for a game to start.

It might help to reduce the game modes, why having six that don't really add anything to the game play but probably make the waiting to be matched a little longer. Team death match would be sufficient. Rest of the modes you could sell in premium.

And just quit giving all the stupid free stuff to players that don't pay. They only get more greedy and whine if they don't get things for free.

although matchmaking resolves several issues it takes away more player control, which is unappealing to many people. Also, this doesn't help the medium hull take over crisis. since battle map is unpredictable, players will play it safe, and just equip a medium hull right away, since they're pretty much good on any map.

So i see that you are complaining about the "complainers". LOL

You clearly fall in the zone of players who don't care and who probably treat Tanki game as just one of many. 96 pages is not even half of what the RU community is "complaining" about. And besides that, if your eyes and ears are open to the chat-groups in the game, you'd realise that its not just the few of us here that are frustrated with the MM. We are a mouthpiece to many many others that are not here in this forum that are venting their frustrations in chatgroups, clan chats, youtube chats/reviews, etc.

The new MM system is really cool tbh. the teams aren't that unfair (and they still are). i like the group mechanic, and the whole update, but the friend list has a bug. that's the only thing i hate in this update :P

​Agreed, I've seen that friendslist bug a few times as well, also in my request box. The only thing that has gotten my attention and I am seeking information about is this "Group" function, Recruits can't get into Legend battles unless they're a friend with a Legend account and then that player invites him/her into a group - Hope this is a bug they also did mention in V-log 171 that if their aren't enough players online the system will be forced to add lower ranked players in slightly higher ranked battles, if I heared that correctly. But everything else (besides the strange CP mode with the scores etc), are working pretty well  :).

Not really dude, it's more like 2/3 for winning and 1/3 for losing. Winning team got a total of 3195 crystals. And losers got 1349.

I was asking for more rewards for the winning team, but now I think it should stay as it is. Because at least I, I'm not looking at the score now, I just want to win. Likewise I think many will forget about the score.

 

And it also helps when a big drugger, a group of friends or a clan is against you, in that case you'll think that you'll still get good rewards if you stay.

 

Removing Overdrive will help a lot in terms of balance, and I think 5 flags/scores should return.
