i really don't understand the decision behind making map choice specific to PRO battles. i understand that you need money, but all parties involved would promise you that the inclusion of pay-per-click, non-invasive ads are significantly better and more appealing to the public than the current system: a massive equipment gap between those willing to give money and those not willing to. now, your audience is no longer players, but customers. you are appealing to the playerbase that is aware that no matter what, they have an advantage over the enemy team by default. you are appealing to the playerbase that is aware that no matter what map they're on, they have the advantage, and therefore, no map preference is necessary - from which you draw the removal of map choice. this decision benefits nobody. if any community manager or anybody else involved would like to explain to me why this decision was made, i would love to hear. i mean, after all, it's only speeding up the eventual death of this game. you seem almost aware of it - in the V-LOG, kasim seemed as if he was entirely aware that what he was reading indicates a restriction of the entire playerbase, without a single reason to do so: "Now you have to choose."

 

i guess now's your chance to choose: do you want tons of money from a small playerbase with bundles of hate, or bits of money from a larger audience with love and support? after all, your game is dying already. it's up to you! <3

Matchmaking matches less playing time get only 6 to 7 minutes per game and in average one minute waiting time. In other words 15% of your playing time is waiting time. In addition to all this fun killer already, now you can't play the maps you like to play and made it a fun game. Let me finish with a quote "soon become one of the most massive events in the game’s history-- Matchmaking", yes MASSIVE in killing fun.


May be it is "soon become one of the most what a mess event in the game's history-- Matchmaking"

 

 


 

MatchMaking is what happens when Communists decide they know better than you do as to how to play the game. I hate this game now, everyone should boycott it. Show them how the Free Market works.

well, warthunder has impressed me so far. I think I may have found a new home.

no more putting up with idiotic updates...yay!!!!!!!

To be fair, War Thunder was arguably always better than TO. At least in terms of production quality.

 

i really don't understand the decision behind making map choice specific to PRO battles.

The reasoning was explained about ~1.5 years ago with the introduction of the Battle button, in v-log 116, here. Matchmaking is a logical continuation of the Battle button.

 

As for map choice, propose how a matchmaker and map choice can co-exist at the same time. These two things simply cannot go together, at least not in a game like Tanki. The matchmaker has to put several thousand players into more or less full battles, attempt to balance teams based on player rating, equipment, and rank, and cannot afford to consider the various interests of those thousands of players.

another day another mismatch.

Let's create two new vocabularies: Mismatchmaking and  Matchmismaking. Both none and adj used to describe something chaotic, dying, out of order. Originated from the behavior of an online game in the early 21st century called Tanki Online.

Definitely not. But maybe some accumulative bonus for those that stay. Something like altering the crystal return rate maybe.

 

Stay for a full match and your crystal returns are x1.01 (101%) - ie, current reward plus 1%

This accumulates to a max. 110% for playing 10 consecutive battles without leaving.

Should you leave the battle early at anytime for any reason, including disconnects, your accumative bonus is reset to x1.0

The numbers can obviously be adjusted.

 

So now I have wasted my time typing this, everyone in tanki please feel free to ignore it.

I think they said, IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE TO INSERT MULTS!

Nobody can intentionally insert a mult into any given map but there is nothing requiring a player to play properly once they're in. It's now virtually impossible to record and successfully punish violators. Those guys were probably mission mults. They might have been there just to get 5 double armor boxes or something. 

 

The current system of box collection missions make the game less enjoyable. There is a simple fix and this has been highlighted to tanki on several occassions by me and others but they're obviously happy that this misery is inflicted on 1000's of players daily. All they have to do is remove box collection missions.

 

Kick2.0 sure would come in handy right now. That suggestion, or variation of it, would fix all this crap we're getting with MM.

Funny how the community know how to fix problems but the tanki developer teams don't. This is what we're dealing with.

See? It shows that what we said a year ago meant nothing. Our impression of MMS was spoiled a year ago and not because of the problems with its initial launch... as they'd like us to believe.

why do you hate us? Why do you do it against our will and desire? when it was a trial version, most were against it.

Just allow us to choose where we want to play.

today I played 2 maps for 2 3 minutes and got 30exp and lost my will.

update, please REMOVE MATCHMAKING from Tanki, it wast my time to wait and play less than 10minutes.

When i wait for more 1 minutes, what should i do????

i think we should play other game to economize the time.

I loved this game, you could choose your  battles and now we have to wait 5 minutes for a 10 minute game. Its just not worth it to play any longer. Plsss remove this useless update.

If someone is more efficient then it should benefit "him" more. If the same guy would have played in a battle where he was in with similar rank, he would have gain a lot more for his efficiency and effort. If he was third among those giants then he can easily be 1st in other NORMAL battle. But in your opinion this is not a loss for him. "Why not"  

You are very right if you talk about deathmatch.

But in teammodes it's a bit different, as there "beeing first" does not get you payed more crystals/xp then beeing mid or last of your team.

I am no longer enjoying playing.

 

Before, I could pick battles that would get a Mission done or which I would enjoy. Now I struggle with meeting either objective, let alone both.

 

If others were incapable of using the battle list, that was their problem.

Hello!

when matchmaking was released i've noticed that in RGB if we captured the ball it would give us +200 score..(even if the map wasn't full) but now i only get 50 score and the map is full 8vs8, i joined a battle in Matchmaking i was alone in the battle i captured the ball and it gave me 50 score i have a proof video for that too..

 

in the other side in Assault mode if i captured a flag it gave me 50 score so i can capture 20 flag and get 1000 score from capturing the flag only,

in RGB mode i got score 250 but as a reward i got 550 crystals??

 

i'm asking for please report that problem for the devolpers and give us 200 score for capturing the ball in RBG mode.

i don't know if this problem happed in CTF too.. right now Assault is just like CP you can get lot of score.. and RGB is like CTF

 

 

it's not fair that capturing a flag in Assault will give you the same score as capturing ball in Rugby and a flag in CTF

Battle points are not the same as experience point additionally the crystal obtained for delivering flag and scoring ball are not the same.

The battle points are to differentiate the activity/weight of each player against battle objectives and especially compare players from the same team (like in ASL).

In ASL you cannot capture all the 20 flags because you are not alone in the team and the team point max is 100 with each delivery flag = 5 team points, therefore 20 flags is the maximum.

MM seems better now with the recent maintenance. Waiting times are better, no more ridiculous rank spread, battles are balanced for the most part. 1 min waiting is still too long though.

 

Also: battle points seem to always be multiples of 5. Has anyone else noticed this?

Are you sure you play Tanki Online?

These screenshots are from this morning, the same battle. Very balanced teams, indeed. And probably for you ridiculous means if recruits would play with Legends and these guys make a pretty well balanced battle, isn't so?

These are "fail platoons." Legend forms a battle group with low rankers, and there you go. Notice how besides these two guys the ranks are more or less equal.

Going through pages and seeing longer paragraphs than my university coursework is surprising. The people who have complains about MM truly care and is able to see this update is/will bring down TankiOnline as it is already losing players day by day. I have never seen a community who would spare so much time writing and actually trying to help out by giving a long feedback about this update. This page blew up in only couple of days and the players I have never seen before ended up here giving out feedback how bad the update really is. 

Now that I am not actively playing anymore, I have time to hang here and complain about bad updates, rebalances etc. The fact is that I care about TO, since I have been playing it a long time, but I hate how the devs are ruining what made TO stand out from the mass of on-line games. The variety of gameplay, difference in tactics with maps, hulls, weapons etc. The variety once offered has been sacrificed on the great altar of "game balance". In other words, removing variables or limiting them the devs just make life easier for them. Soon we'll have just one map and hulls that look different but share the stats.

Well the update is improving, but it's like polishing poo really, I will persevere a little longer, just in case...

Fed up with arriving in a game and being outranked.

The Update  is  not good Becuase now how we cant make score like before now to make score its hard every kill is 10 score even if you have premium.. i dont know why tanki did this update
