What is wrong with the Client? I can't enter the game...

And I can with Chrome. So it's not my Internet.

But it's laggy as heck on Chrome. Fix the Client plz.

It's a shame to always witness the same issues, over and over again.

Client is working for me, maybe you need to clear your client's cache.

I dont know why everybody arguing about the MM system, it is a tiny problem compared to the ridicuolus drugging problem in every game called Garage Supplies. That is the real poison in the game.

Well, let me try 4th time to get an answer.

In topic http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=373025 Maf said this: http://prntscr.com/jq0v4g , Matchmaking is needed to keep game alive.Let me tell you this.

I am playing Tanki Online since 2013. I was happy everytime devs introduced a new update. I think others did too (at least 80%+). Since Matchmaking is released, everytime when i get into a battle, chat is filled with messages that i really don't want to say bcs mods will probably ban me. There is a lot, but really a lot of negative feedback. I dare to say it is more than 90%. By the situation i see over here, I don't really know what devs mean by saying "keep game alive". Does that mean, let's make everyone who is here for fun to leave? Do devs even read this forum? No, it's not a matter about lags. It's about losing ability to choose team, map, rank brackets. What's the difference between waiting 5 mins to be lowest rank in battle or just click the battle button for same result? No system can divide teams to be perfectly equal. But this system can't make it to be at least 75% equal. You will lose more players when b-day comes. Why? 2x funds in non-PRO, we know all that players want more crystals, they will drug to get an advantage. Especially buyers. And now, those players that are not so strong, they could sometimes do it like this: find a battle where's your rank highest, join better team, get some crys. Idk why, they didn't develop their tank and now (when higher ranked) they can't counter their enemies. They'll need to buy drugs. If they do, they will just rank more and repeated process. But let's say they will go on somehow, playing against lower ranked enemies. After MMS is released, they go to a battle where their rank is the lowest. They will get defeated a lot of times, and lose will to play this game anymore. They will leave. Game is based on that. Game is based on that kind of players. Stronger players kill them, they get some fund cuz they can kill lower ranked players and that's it. But they will leave. Now, those who are non buyers will lose their crystal income and leave. When buyers see they encounter buyers more often, they will stop buying and leave. You see, when weak players joined better team, where they are not highest ranked, they nerf better team. That was balancing. And, after each battle, stronger players would divide between teams if they see that battle will stay alive. Example : score after 1 round - 7-1. In 2. round some stronger players would leave team that won and join team that lost. That way they distributed how they thought it's the best. It worked most of the times. That was OK. AI (artificial intelligence) has a flaw. It doesn't have human factor. It will divide players by pure numbers. It can't work like that. Players are here for fun. Not to be wrecked 10 times in a row. You'd say "they don't want to lose".  It's not that. Would anyone want to always lose?

Now, question is. How does Matchmaking system keeps game alive if players are leaving because of Matchmaking system itself?

I dont know why everybody arguing about the MM system, it is a tiny problem compared to the ridicuolus drugging problem in every game called Garage Supplies. That is the real poison in the game.

That is becoming even bigger problem with Matchmaking system. Read text above, you may find a reason why.

Only 15k people on ATM, but I have sub-20 second wait time in DM, TDM, and ASL for 6 battles during the past hour and a half, which is nice.

Ok. So now instead of being able to find a battle I like with players of the same rank and join right away, I have to wait a few minutes to end up with a bunch of druggers who are 5 and 6 ranks higher than me. Great.

Sorry tanki, you just keep getting worse with every "upgrade". This is why i don't play much anymore.

its good Tanki is making these changes. Now I will quit wasting time with playing so much of this game.

The long wait times between matches lets me realize what else i can be doing. Not being able to choose the map helps me to end up with a turret I would not pick for that map. It makes each match a little less fun.

Thank you Tanki for being a responsible entertainer and helping end my addiction to this game. I am still going through withdrawals, but with your help, I shall be free soon.

I don't think so, the difference are huge between 2 close ranks.

What huge differences between ranks do you mean?  Going up a rank is worth about 2500 pts.  A top-performer's rating in a given rank is about the same as an average rating for one rank above. This is my rough take based on minimal occasional looks at rating numbers.  Anyway I do not see anything about the rating number that would preclude use in the MM calculations. If anything the opposite is true.

I dont know why everybody arguing about the MM system, it is a tiny problem compared to the ridicuolus drugging problem in every game called Garage Supplies. That is the real poison in the game.

I do not understand why people still conlain about 'drugging'. It was an issue when buyers had an over-supply while non-buyers didn't. But now both groups have ample supplies.  DD/DA all cancels out. So mostly the effect is the tanks zip around the map faster.

I too have had short waits.  Just now I would enter a new game the moment I clicked Continue. Games were most often qwll balanced by ranks.  That is a Quick Battle option. But even specific modes took only about 40s tops. Finding a game is mos def certainly easier now under MM. Refinements are still needed of course.

The new Brest map still sucks. There are more tank types now but the mpa still sucls with the loss of all the central obsticles.

For giggles I played another back to back set of about six quick battles in the mid afternoon EDT US.

Tried my best in every battle. Placed near or at the top of my team each time. Sometimes my team won, sometimes my team lost, but I left every battle happy because win or lose, I received a decent amount of crystals.

Tanki has shortened the battles by five minutes and taken out the battle list, if the game continues to follow this path the  Tanki will lose many players with only two stupendously idiotic moves that; 1. shorten battles and 2. RANDOMLY chooses the battles you go to.

Personally I love the game but these two dummy moves have made me want to spend 12 thousand diamonds a yer on battle passes, stop screwing up Tanki these ****** choices will make you lose more players than join.

I was o.k with the 10 minute battles but this is now slowly destroying the love some of the players have for the game.

I played some more on several accounts and I am pleasantly surprised. It's really nice not having to play against Legends all the time and having every other battle be a blowout. There are still a few issues, such as waiting times (which tend to be very inconsistent) and battle groups are a problem. Also, although I have yet to get a Highways or Brest match, these maps should not be in the MM pool. Maps like Novel and Skylark should be brought back.

Otherwise I am actually more interested in playing Tanki now than in the past several months.
