Premium users shouldn't get 4X battle rewards, That's too much, it should be 3X for them: 1X from the Premium, 1X from the 2X and the 1X from regular rewards.

 

And I'll likely get Premium when I open containers before the event.

Great sales. Double battle funds should have folks taking in crystals with the new fund system.

 

Was hoping for garage paints to be included in the 50% saw, but I’ll live.

 

Normally, I would just ignore the hate I’ve seen up-thread, but in this case, I think some of it is fair. Two points resonate with me.

 

1-Be wary of purchasing or even MUing modules since a major update is coming and we don’t know much about how costs will be after the update or how much of our total protection value will survive.

 

2-The announced and confirmed removal of LGC modules including 4-way ‘quad’ modules begs the question of why to buy anything, when the designers may remove it in the future. We’ve seen this before with attribute changes (nerfs) to equipment and now we’re seeing the wholesale removal of purchased items. Skepticism is natural and warranted.

1: I think I am shifting gears on my garage strategy for just this consideration. I just it Marshal so I have new m3 hull, turret, and 2 modules to MU. I also have 4 modules + the mine module all at m3+ already. The plan was to drop the 125k or so to MU all 7 modules 1 step each at 50%. (And MU the null and turret also, course.) 

 

Instead now I think I will still MU the hull and turret. I will MU the mine module to 49% because this is a single module before and after. SO I fgure the cost will be about the same before and after. But the conversion cost of triple modules and the batteries? That's much less certain. So I will save most of that 125k and use it to buy a Titan hull instead. Then I can rapid MU it up to the same MU level as my ol' Viking. MU on hull and turret will not be affected by Energizer.

 

2: That is just a fact of life with any online game. The s/w is owned by the publisher. You invest because that is what game currency is for. The modules you bought were useful while those rules eised. Now that investment is being converted into a new game capability. You are still getting a positive ROI on that original investment.

When you know games just sad? Can't even do 2x in pro battles as well for their b-day.... another disappointing holiday
