1. Will this be optional in pro battles like supplies and others?
2. Aren't you making it too supernatural?
3. Do you think free player get enough crystals to even buy batteries now on top of upgrading their garage?
4. Shouldn't every update have a trial period like a month or so and after the feedback it should remain/removed?
5. Simplicity was the biggest charm of TO, newcomers will find it more difficult the more stuff is there, and the same thing gives more advantage to experienced players over them. Why don't you launch VERSIONS of TO. Like 1.1 and 1.2 with different options. It will divide the load and everyone will have something. What do think about that?

P.S. I think merging modules is an awesome idea. The only FAIR thing I heard or saw here recently.

The update takes time to introduce in the server. A very big update needs time. We understand. First you needed to take away our free choice of maps and teams, now you need to install drones nobody ever suggested having or wanted, and you need to go though our garage to steal our equipment we worked hard for. Yes, take your time. Because we will not be back.

I think the drones are kind of a non-issue at this point.  It may be only buyers will have and use them....too expensive for us mere freebie mortals.

 

Tanki used to be like that and I thought it was fine....buyers who support the game should be able to slaughter us free players...they pay for the privilege.  Of course, I wish we could revert the game to a previous incarnation, but at least drones don't seem as ominous as they sounded....time will tell though.

Damn. I should have bought modules before the update too. On my lowest rank account (no protection on that one yet), getting started is going to cost me 15K instead of 5K

 

At least they could have renamed all of the modules to "Turret M0/1/2/3"... the names are dumb...

 

(but drones being so expensive to use is a slight relief; I don't think there will be many super-druggers at my ranks)
