This is something that will never be approved by anyone. It would only increase the number of players who break the rules and get banned for it, unfortunately, it is something that the developers will never do and you should be aware of it too already if I'm not mistaken.

What's the point of banning a violator if they can just get an easy pass out? The ban is there to punish violators and teach them a lesson to not break the rules.

Upon signing up you accept a contract; the game rules. Once you get banned you get banned because you violated your contract with the game. There should be no way to bypass this.

It won't be considered corruption if you make it legal. for now, if i were to pay a mod to unban me that would be corruption because it's against the rules, but if they were to change the rules such then it would not be corruption.

Unless you are referring to the auto flood bans, I highly doubt that. Maybe they seem unfair to the person receiving them, but that is naturally biased.

EN community helpers are trying their best to be of help and assistance to players of this game and to ensure that we all work together for the benefit and prosperity of this community. And we're doing it for years now. We've been completely transparent with our work and the way we deal with offenders, every team was introduced to players and each team's work has been explained publicly more than once, for example in this interview. None of the bans are given without proper proof being attached to player's ban history and banned player is always given an explanation and proof of what they did wrong when they contact admins directly, via forum pm. Also, all teams are working closely under the Administration of EN community and their work is being re-evaluated on regular basis. Moreover, players of this community are always encouraged to step forward and take active part in helping the community, by working side by side with official helpers or even by reporting any abuse of powers or irregular behaviour of any EN helper to their admins. 

 

So I can confirm that 99% of all bans given by EN community helpers are justified (remain 1% occurs mostly because of technical issues which can happen when chat is fast going... those bans are promptly dealt with, as soon as the affected player contact the admin in charge). Also, none of EN helpers are "corrupted" in any way - they are players of this game who are selflessly giving their time and enthusiasm in order to help and serve other players of this game. I'm not saying that any of us is flawless, we all make mistakes but we are also always trying to improve our work. If at any point there's any irregularity or an issue in this community, it can and will be sorted.

i did not accuse mods of all communities, i accused mods in general. I said that there are corrupt mods and i know for a fact that that is true. I just did not specify that they were from 1 community in particular.

Yeah, I agree with the unban pass. Let's just allow all cheaters, chat violators, and just in general bad people walk free for the low, low price of whatever it is! On the plus side, that really small minority of people who were maybe probably banned unfairly are now free again! Woohoo!

Yes, helpers can easily abuse their power, that's correct. That's why in EN community we are rigorously checking those that apply for helper positions and we're also making sure that all of us are constantly going through further re-evaluations, as I said in one of my previous posts, so any potential issue can be prevented as much as possible from the start. We only want the best for this community and this game, players know that well and they also know that all mods are working according to the rules. No one - including CM of this community - is displeased with their work. Except you, of course :)

 

Also, as a player you cannot possibly know any information about moderation nor any future plans regarding administration of this game so please stop spreading deceptive info and starting flame wars for the sake of fruitless argument, that doesn't do any good to anyone. If you are so displeased with moderators, I advise you to apply for helper position yourself or try to help this community in some other, useful way. Thank you.
