valid "Snipers Only" format

I don't really use shaft but I think tanki should release a snipers only mode (shafts only). It would be pretty interesting to play in, wouldn't you think? All of the game modes will be available for this new mode. 

 

Maybe we could add a Magnum Only mode in the future but please, I really want to challenge others to 1 V 1 Snipers Only.

Interesting idea, but it would just turn into another "XC" format, i.e. no one will ever play it. Unfortunately Tanki's player base is not big enough to find enough players online at the same time, who would all be interested in playing such a format.

once in a while the RU community organizes an event called "night snipers" which is basically a DM for shafts only but in night mode... never participated but from what i heard it is very boring.

how about you participate once before suggesting?

The natural problem with DM shaft is that the ppl with the best kills will not move...moving will lead to dying...so a stalemate will ensue

You can't stalemate in a DM XD You are supposed to die a lot in any snipers only format.

That would sort of defeat the point of fighting for an objective. Crystal earnings are better than they were before anyway.

For any of you concerned that this is a campers only format, you need not be. Everyone will be forced to play with Shaft in CTF and CP so people cannot camp or else they won't win. Plus, there could be a lot of small maps being snipers only such as sandbox, island, or sandal for instance. I feel like Polygon CP would also be very popular with shafts only.

I'd rather a "No-Magnum" option. I'd use it everytime I create a battle, peace and fair play with no mines flying around during the whole battle is what I call a good game.
