An M3 kit costs around $75 in the shop. You can't expect XT kit to be cheaper but I might be wrong here.

Considering the skins will be available for all ranks, it may be possible that they will be cheaper. Hopefully, the game doesn't scare away players with the prices of skins.

This update is gonna ruin parkour for tanki. I had wasp m1 for parkour and I prefer it over my M3 XT wasp. This is a crap update, but if you wanted to make it less crap, you could've given us an option if we wanted to keep the lower modifications of our equipment or replace it with the M3s. I'm truly disappointed in Tanki, and you added another reason for many players to hate Tanki even more. There are 3 reasons why I play this game which are: Parkour, XP/BP, and friends. You guys removed 1 reason for me to play tanki and many other players, I guarantee. I request to remove this update and let people have fun in parkour with their M0/M1/M2 wasps and XT wasp for playing normally. Anyways if I got a choice, I would pick to keep my Wasp M1 instead of Wasp XT M3. #TankiIsDying

Both batteries and drones are available for purchase and will stay that way. While I won't deny that drones benefit the wealthy player in battles, this update is definitely not pay to win. A cosmetic item like a skin does not give any advantages in battles. And that is why cosmetics are so suitable for the game to earn money, they won't affect game balance. Could you tell me why you think that this XT skin update is pay to win?

P2W is when something that is not easily accessible to free players is offered to buyers. For example, being able to MU M0 equipment to M1 from the very start of the game. P2W is not when something is easily accessible to both F2P and P2P players. You can buy drones in the Shop - but you can also buy them for 20k crystals, which is nothing. You can buy batteries in the Shop - but you also get them through mission chain rewards and in the garage.

 

The old premium account paint was P2W, because only buyers could obtain it and it offered a pretty significant advantage in battles.

So many people are so confused what P2W really is. It's really frustrating to read what the comments are really like here, gives you a big sigh. How does an XT give you any advantage in battles or animated paint. Buying a kit at rank with real money from the shop is an advantage because in the garage they cost almost half a million crystals and not many are able to earn that many crystals. By buying the kit from the shop will obviously give you an early M3 equipment whilst many players will still have M2 - So paying real money to buy a kit, 1500 supply package, crystals, premium will literally give players a huge advantage in game but not this... Not XT or animated paints.

If they remove Drones, as they should, there could be Hull alterations that would solve that issue.

 

Armor Plates:

 

Light plates for faster speed but with less protection and less weight.

 

Medium plates, the stock plates as of today.

 

Heavy plates for higher protection but with less speed and higher weight.

 

And there could also be Parkour plates.

 

So everyone ask for Drone removal or I'll create an alt with the nickname: Remove_Drones and troll like Re_old_railgun

It means that your wasp m0 will be converted to wasp m3 and the xt wasp will become skin which can be applied or removed from your wasp m3 like alterations. So you will have wasp m3 and xt skin but no wasp mo.

I earned my Hornet XT skin completing a Daily Mission. Eventually TO allowed them to be bought, and now anyone can buy them. TO has a history of creating something special and then making it available to everyone. So sad.

I cant wait for server restart to see how much they are and how much the special offer is! I think you should buy them in the garage. It would be a LOT better because then if you are not a buyer they you could still get them if you saved up. This update has a lot of pros AND cons. I think the pros outnumber the cons tho

Im both glad and disappointed at this update.  I don't usually buy in the shop unless I get a giftcard from a friend.... so I probably won't be able to get it. :(  I think you should still be able to purchase it in the garage.

It might look cool if you use basics.. like a blue turret with a black hull; or a black hull with an orange hammer.

It for sure also works with a black hull and a turret that use the paint that looks like space invaders =)

 

But if you combine something like Africa and Nano it's just weird :P

 

edit: I just noted, that I made three examples with a black hull. I think I am biased a bit :P

mmm would you bye chance got the Idea from your account name.. interesting.. and yea it do's look funny when you have two separate colours on the hulls and turrets , but then there are some that do match pretty close to each other..

 

carbon and chain mail / Zeus and Jeans or sparks / sweater and jeans would be great for a night out on the town..

 

so there is ways it could work but then you don't want to have ,,disco and glitch together ..

i can't wait for this too come in if this is on the horizon in tanki...

Exactly, nothing is special in this game now, except for the animated paints that you can only get in containers.

 

But I remember how they presented Flow as a unique paint. They told us "buy it quick, because it will be gone forever". And now it's back in containers, and you can win it during crazy week-ends. The legendary paint Flow :lol: :lol:

 

Nothing Legendary about it now.
