Well this is the reason why players are leaving this game. I know being mod you won't dislike any update coz you will lose your position and for your convenience don't give negative replies to players.

Well fortnite does the same.. they only sell skins  for real money, nothing else, thats what tanki tries to do right now, why fortnite players dont complain about this? you might tell me because there it was like this from the beggining, you couldnt buy it with crystals like you could do in tanki, but it doesnt give you a bonus or something as well, its good to have them in the shop instead of the garage, you guys have better things to waste 500k

i say If in future can get highter. In some villages or small towns in my country half house with 3 rooms in the floor is around 2000 dollars.- you can live there all your live if you want with water, electricity, toilet, internet, bathroom,bedroom etc.This is 20 times more but we all know how tanki developers do. See last prices of modules update+ if you calculate MU with each module and compare with prices before update will see, 20 times is nothing for tanki. And this is even real discussion for stupid skin does nothing in cancerous pay2win game for unskilled players, becaouse this game isn`t even really skill-required for playing. Its neglected auto aim for all turrets, even 10 yers old kids can do good. Go play really skillful games and will see how poor is tanki.

A "normal player" should enjoy the game for its game mechanics and gameplay features. In that sense the game is almost completely fair - every single item that can be used in battles (turrets, hulls, MUs, modules, alterations, supplies, etc.) can be purchased with crystals for a fairly affordable price, so you can have all those things and enjoy the game by earning crystals from battles and missions, without having to spend real money.

 

But when it comes to cosmetic items and other stuff that doesn't affect gameplay (paints, XT skins, premium account, nickname change, clans...), it's fine to have those items in the Shop only, because this encourages players to spend money on non-essential items, thus bringing more revenue to the project without giving "buyers" an advantage in gameplay. Sure, it's annoying that as a free player you can't easily get an XT skin now, but that's the reality - you ALWAYS have to spend more if you want to look fancy and stand out.

While it's true that mods and helpers can't publicly post heavy criticism about the game, constructive criticism has always been allowed. The reason I support most updates is not because I get paid to do it, but because I understand the purpose of these updates and why they were necessary.

 

So I'm telling you like a man, and not just a mod: developers need to generate revenue to support the game, and putting XT skins in the Shop was a great opportunity to provide another source of income without affecting the balance between free players and "buyers".

I disagree it does affect the balance, as buyers spend more on cosmetics and less on P2W features, it does re-balance the game toward the free players.

Remember the XT modifications of Hornet and Railgun in New Year Celebrations 2014-2015? (or so idk)

The reason is when you have any nub modification (M0, M1, M2) and you equip the XT skin this looks like XT M3. So with this idea, you this will look like XT M2 (or whatever you modification is, for example if you have Hornet M2, equip XT skin and it will look like XT M2).

Also, change the shot color to White, like the old XT (but only to rail lol)

And of course add XT modifications to the other XTs (Viking, Thunder, Fire, Wasp, Vulcan and Mammoth)

That'd be impractical, cause it only appears for a short time so not many people can easily notice it. Also many prefer (like me) prefer playing the game with music in the background instead of the game sound.

We don't know. They have been very elusive on the matter.

Since XT skins are in existence, I suggest them to exist on every turret and hull. Just think for yourself how cool you would like if you had an XT skin for Freeze and an XT skin for Dictator.

 

XT skins can be used as M0 alterations because that is what M0 alterations are supposed to do. M0 alterations are supposed to give your tank a unique look. XT skins should also change the color of the firing turrets. For example, equip an XT skin for Firebird to give Firebird a blue flame.

With the number of players commenting on the lost White Railgun shot color, designers are probably thinking of adding another Shop-only alteration which will change the shot color. Purchase price $50 USD, 40euro.

 

Instead of XT it will be called ‘Refractor’. You will buy a different Refractor each for the turrets which have shot color (Railgun, Firebird (blue flame!!!), Ricochet, Freeze, Isida).

 

A green Isida beam would be sweet.

I feel like my Viking is weak too. It takes huge damage by Railgun, even tho I have 43% and M4 Viking. But I think my Viking is not M4 now. I see it M4 in garage but it does not feel like M4.

please ask a friend of yours who owns the M2 rail alteration which makes the damage very consistent, move the two of you into a private battle, and ask him to shoot you 10 times - while you have no protection equipped.

He should note down the damage of each hit on a sheet of paper, and mark those that killed you.

 

Then equip your protection and try it again.

 

From the results you should be able to tell how efficient your protection is working.

M4 viking definitely feels weak after XT update. Got 50% protection against railgun and I get 1 shot, it was never like that before the update. Probably some type of coding went wrong mixing up health with normal viking and XT viking?
