XT-Skins are coming June 7th!

I've never seen anyone so butthurt over a cosmetic feature. I own viking XT and I'm still the same player as everyone else. I don't receive extra HP or armor just because I own XT skin, it is only for looks. It's like people would be crying over a different skin on Fortnite lol.

Not crying because low rankers can buy Xts. Talking about that some of players bought one of xt and started saving for another one (Ex. bought rail xt and started saving for hornet/wasp xt), but now they can't do it. So They have just spent 500k. And 500k is not less as you know. So that's making us angry.

How is it unfair if XT skins give no buffs in any way? What the devs did was logical in my opinion. Also, why would I want a item that would make more people target me?

guys for one I do have XT skins on two accounts and I'm not targeted with it on. the only reason you might feel like your getting targeted in battles is to do with your set up . in other words smaller tanks get attacked more due to easy to destroy in battles they have less protection on hulls . where as a mammoth is harder to kill unless there all ready down on there health bar.

 

also Its your choice to buy or not. no one is making you buy.

for those who are saying they fell cheated as they were saving 500k for Xts, Guys relax you just save 500k which you can now spend on MU or other M3s. XTs are just for you eye's pleasure nothing more.

It's a Railgun Skin, they are bumping into you and making you miss shots. While the enemies are also checking on you and shooting you at the same time.

 

And without an XTed hull it doesn't look good.

It doesn't look nice alone and people will push you and enemy will shoot at you - that's your  explanations for the Big Problem of having XT?

If you can't afford it then I'm pretty sure that you would be able to avoid that big problems.

Hmm here is a solution:- Add XTs back to the game for a period of time like  1week or  1month to buy them with crystals so that hard-worked players will have their fruit and they won't leave Tanki.

This won't happen, due to the fact that it is not necessary for players to be able to buy XT using crystals. As said by others above, an XT skin does not affect gameplay and is therefore not essential to own, so it's perfectly fine to have it be available for money only. I don't think it's reasonable to leave the game just because you can't get a fancy skin you wanted.

 

I agree that it would be much nicer if developers warned us ahead of time that XTs would be not be possible to buy with crystals, but at the same time it doesn't really matter since XTs are cosmetics and therefore it's OK for developers to sell them however they like.

 

Don't forget that you still have a chance of getting XT from a container, although it is indeed a very small chance.

Recently XT skins were added, I think this was a great update, but me, and many other players are irritated by the fact that the skin looks the same on an m0, m1, and m2 as it does on an m3. All the current XT skins are based on the original m3 design for a turret or hull. To me, this is very weird. You have people at warrant officer 5, running around with an XT vulcan that looks as if its m3. Now, I know this isn't a big problem, but I think many people would appreciate it if XT skins on certain modification of equipment had its XT skin based on the original aesthetic for that modification level. So, if you have an m2 railgun with an XT skin, you would still have the bird beak and all, except it would be put on the original aesthetic of an m2 rail rather than an m3. Im sure many players would appreciate this change, and they would be able to identify the modification level of equipment even if it has an XT skin on it.

First of all, it doesn't change my opinion. As I said, I'm not a buyer, and I won't buy containers just to try to get it. (You have to be really lucky to win rail/hornet xt). Weekly mission rewards, ik ik (1/100 will get from there). It's just not fair. Many have been saving for Xt skins, and many bought one of Xt skins. So why the .... we have been trying to collect those crys? Tbh that wasn't really polite to do this update. 70 euros for Xt skins and  100k? LOL. Why should we try our luck from those containers when we can just buy it in garage? (Ofc now we can't :') ) GG.

Why don't you try saving up containers the same way you were trying to save up crystals. And it doesn't have to be from weekly challenges, you obviously can get them from a lot of different sources, like watching youtube videos that have promo codes in them, taking part in newspaper/vlog contests. And about the pricing of the XT skins, it was told a long time ago that the XT equipment would be converted into skins and you kinda had to guess that they'd go in the shop. Talking about spending real money for skins ? how about you spend those 200k that you made up on some equipment upgrades rather than buying a "SKIN" that only has cosmetic change to your tank. Also the pricing is just as a pack for now, I'm guessing at some point they'll release the XT skins to be able to purchased individually.

 

Also bare in mind, you can even win XT items directly from contests.  ^_^

This is my thought too. My guess for shop prices had been $100USD per skin. Then the bundle dropped with two skins for that price. So my revised guess is that skins will be available individually for probably $75USD.

 

To the complainers - we did this to ourselves. We made such a big deal about XT items that we demonstrated to the game designers that XT Skins would be highly valuable and thus they can and will charge a proportionally high price in real money. A self fulfilling prophecy as it were.

XT skins are purely for cosmetic purposes. It has nothing to do with how skilled you are. You can still use normal skins and beat someone with XTs.

My XT railgun was with White color shot , after the update, im using XT skin but its with normal railgun shot ( yellow ) .... what happend

Soon they will force you to pay (probably dollar) to choose color for your turret's shot.
