Credit for sumo kills?

You didn't see your idea because this section is under pre-moderation, meaning your posts will only show up when a mod approves them.

It's of no use giving a reward for such actions. There are few locations where this could apply and few tanks this could work on reasonably. Moreover, you just pushed someone off a ledge, meaning it didn't require much skill or effort, as the SD zones did all the work for you, why should you get a reward for something you didn't do/accidentally did? Pushing people off ledges and hoping they are enough of a noob to actually let it happen is not a valid strategy.

i disagree. When I do this, its rarely by accident, because my main just isn't powerful enough to do that, and i do because I know i can't beat the this time. Also, I really think this would benefit the game as a whole, because of the nature of the physics of the game.

I highly disagree with this idea too, it would just increase the number of mults and saboteurs in the game by team-killing.

i like this idea but this would give advantage to turrets with high impact.. isida is already underpowered enough as it is.. if this were to be implemented then isida should get 20 seconds damage time,2 seconds reload and 2000 damage per second. also bring back the 50% self healing.

That's way too overpowered, not to mention terrible for game balance...

well it has to be able to defend itself from people trying to push him off...

 

it has no impact or recoil so it'll be at the mercy of anyone it can't kill before it gets pushed off

The Isida can try to move out of the way or push the person pushing them off. It can use its hull to defend itself if it can't from it's turret.

in the pushing it'll be hull vs hull+turret.

Yes, that's correct. But unfortunately in this case we can't do anything because the Isida is not that type of a turret (to "hit" the opponent back). So, the Isida must be careful not to get in a position like this in the first place.

yes soooooo... you understand that isidas are the most vulnerable to sumo slams. and if this idea gets implemented they will be at a disadvantahe cause more sumos will try to ram them. so the stats have to be increased to the ones i mentioned.

You forgot giving it infinite range.

this is only to give it a chance against sumo body slams which require direct contact so range doesn't have to be increased.

 

anyway i noticed you started making a lot of scarstic comments like this about game balance... you realised it's all a lie so might as well just roll dice to decide the stats? :D

Actually this is not a bad idea. You could also make it damage all adjacent enemies...then it just might be balanced

I have an Isida/Hornet account. The only time I was ever pushed off a map was by my own teammates on Hill map....on purpose. I won't go into the whole story about how this transpired and how the other team reacted to this abuse. Obviously, they didn't want me there. I left.
