  1. 1. What is the reason for this?

    • Rude community.

That would be a bit too much indeed. How about something that the game recognizes easily, same as when you link your email to your account so for example, log in to the Forum and it recognizes itself automatically.

I meant that it would be an automatic function otherwise there would be absolutely no way to control payouts...how many times someone logged in or even if they logged in.  It is programming and it exists so I figured it would automatically be applied to some small reward for a first post or a "hi" post, or even a "click this to get your whatever button" on the forum.  I certainly didn't think a poor mod would have to sit with a pencil and paper compiling a list of 80,000 players and checking and cross referencing them to previous recipients.

Main issue is the language, despite being an English community a large majority of players do not speak or write in English enhance the fact there is no point for them to come here.

Is there any way to tie in Google Translate?  Maybe a quire to Google...they may have some add on program already in place.

It would be nice if they could implement a translator in the forums. We select the language we speak and it should instantly translate whatever is typed on the screen. I mean, this is not chat where the conversation keeps rolling. The posts are permanent, with no moving parts, so there shouldn't be a problem.

However, it's undeniable the forum is less active than it was in the past years :/

As is the case with the entire game, so it's not really a surprise the forum has become a bit less visited too.

FYI, I'm all for promoting the forum, making it more lively, but we shouldn't draw too many players away from actually playing, am I right?..;p

I truly feel that if you can draw more players into the forum and engage them, they will become even more active at playing the game.  The forum only enhances the Tanki experience....time spent here will only make people want to play the game more

Didn't think the forum admin would reply here. :3

I agree with @ByeByeBye here.

To be honest, I did not think I would get any feedback. lol

  • Summer.
  • Some experienced forumers left (affects lively conversations)
  • Sometimes, lack of original thoughts to create topics
  • Bad updates (occasionally)

@Cooper: You are right, but a lil bit more advertising woudn't affect much

We do work together with the chat moderation team on this. They refer players to relevant topics on the forum whenever they can. Both to bring more awareness to the forum, but also to give players a good place to give their feedback on updates or to help them find answers to their questions. Similar thing happens on social media but on a smaller scale. If you have any ideas on how to engage players more on the forum, I'm all ears though!

It is the complete opposite for me. The game is boring.

Most of the EN community comes to forum for 1 particular thing.

crystals!!

When TTC was going on, most people come online on monday's but now, only few.

I, personally, do not think TTC bring a significant amount of players to the forums.

I have said in before even as a suggestion in the Ideas&Sugs thread some time ago.  Put a link button right next to "News" "Chat" on the menu in the lobby.  Change it to "News" "Chat" "Forum"   That will increase traffic for sure.  Then run an advert in the news...a small blurb that invites players to visit the forum.  To boost that, offer some sort of reward for visiting the forum...it would have to be coded to one reward per player so that might involve too much work for some poor coder...maybe something could be interfaced with promocodes...I don't know Tanki mechanics, but the button and a text invitation would bump forum views dramatically.

I'd say because the devs and mods don't really listen to the players voicing their opinion on new updates

How does that link to forum ?

Most of the time it is just players who cannot save, at all.

The lack of knowledge about the forum is hardly an issue lmao, if it were, the forum wouldn't have been so active around 2014.

What did make the forum less active is players losing interest in the game and bad moderation of the forums.

I would say not many players visit the Forum or even know about it in general. Others don't care that much unless an update which players don't like is released lol

What there are good updates?
