Appreciation of New Updates

You got the wrong end of the stick - TO is focusing on transferring the game on HTML5. They are also working on making it available on mobile Android right now (and on IOS later this year).

Development is costly, if TO wanted to milk players they would have stopped any costly development. As far as I can see a lot of development have been done and still on going and more are palnned: Juggernaut, the War II, Mobile, MMS, drones ... Those are the signs of continuity and perpetuity.

Wrong end of stick.....lol ok

HTML5 isn't new and has been around or the industry standard for 3 years now.  If they haven't switched by now i doubt it will ever happen with a shrinking user base.  The development they are doing isn't costly by comparison and if they expect users to fork over $40-90 they have a truck load of bugs to fix.  Have they corrected many of them.............no because they don't care.  Their revenue may hold for a bit but without new blood it wont last as a business model you need 25% new users to maintain profits and they are a longways from that.

Now you are reaching a dead end. Like anything in the technology industry, format and programs evolve and you need to adapt, it's a necessity. Sometime you don;t know which new format will survive and grow, you better wait to see which one is dominating the industry and then use it till it last.

People that work daily for months cost a lot of money, if they produce nothing of value, the company lose a lot of money. So you better fire them to make savings and keep selling the usual stuff. They are not working on HTML just for the fun of learning a new code. If TO were, as you say it milking player, they would do things differently.

Which bugs are you talking about?

Tanki is taking steps in that direction, and I don't understand what all you other payers are whining about. But it seems that I am a vast minority. Is there anyone else who agrees with me?

Because simply you weren't playing this game back when it was good. You probably thought this game was good in 2016, when it totally sucked. You never experienced the prime TO, so honestly, you have no credibility in your argument.

For a mod its pathetic you need to start a responses with some type of degrading phrase.  Do they give you extra crystals for that or does witty responses just boost you're self esteem?

Like anything in technology you either move quickly or get left behind.

You know the list of bugs why bother asking?  Have they fixed many of them...nope but we have useless drones and a garbage update they chose to work on instead.

Every time something in Tanki changes, players exclaim something along the lines of; "Tanki is dying! Ahhhh! I remember when [insert nostalgia here], but now [developer or poor community mod] have [insert nefarious plan] in order to [kill tanki/make money]. Tanki is dying!1!!!"

However, many of the changes have been good. Even (especially?) the recent ones.

Over the past year or so, the economy has become far easier on players.

First, they have updated the crystal distribution system. Losing teams still make quite a bit of money. Good

Second, people used to play on small maps exclusively because they yielded more crystals. This has changed. The hell??!!!

Thirdly, everyone is making more crystals. A lot more. And the EXP created in battle has gone down. This gives you a wonderful EXP/crystals earned ratio. You have more time to earn crystals before unlocking equipment, allowing you to upgrade better at your rank than before. How tf is this good? DO YOU KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO RANK UP AT MY RANK??!?!?!

4th, daily mission chains are much easier to complete. They have higher possible rewards. They do not reset. AND they come with containers, which contain large bonuses over the original amounts. Fine, this is good.

5th, upgrades don't cost more than purchasing the next modification. This allows people to better use their in game currency for upgrading, and makes micro upgrading an viable economical choice. It was always like this.

6th, modules are separate. Modules are like individual, vote-what-is-most-OP units, and act as game balancers. If something is OP and used a lot, then protection against it ecomes more common, and it becomes more balanced. NO. THIS UPDATE MADE PAINTS OVERPRICED AND USELESS.

7th, animated paints and XT turrets have been created/separated, and are now only available for money (or by luck). How is this a good thing? It means Tanki is not as dependent on selling OPness, and more dependent on selling visual changes to the in-game objects. Fine.

The more they sell visuals, the less OP buyers will be.

Drones are more or less a visual thing for heavy buyers. They offer very little benefit to regular players. And that is a good thing; Tanki makes money, it looks cool, and it doesn't curb stomp non-buyers. Your logic for this is absurd. It's clear that you do not know what you are talking about.

Tanki X is almost entirely dependent on selling skins and visual alterations as a source of profit, and so its buyers are not particularly OP. That game is quite balanced. Tanki is taking steps in that direction, and I don't understand what all you other payers are whining about. But it seems that I am a vast minority. Is there anyone else who agrees with me? Any foolish buyer who is willing to agree with you...

Look guys, we can't have a first lieutenant come here and think he/she knows what he is talking about. He probably is in the game for about a year, what does he know about these updates? He probably has never faced anyone with drones, or known how it was like in 2013.

This update made paints overpriced and useless. Really?

Storm,Dirty-3500

Guerilla-4000

Desert-4500

Cedar-5500

Sandstone-6000

Arctic, Tundra, Urban- ~7000

Clay-10000

Digital-14000

Rock-15000

These paints were far more expensive before the paint-module separation.

Based on how fast users are leaving the developers have lost all their sense.

Say what you want; the real success or failure of updates is does it make the game more successful?  Users leaving not attacking new ones and most of the core base is angry......

Developers could focus on the fact Tanki is running on a ancient flash backbone instead of html5 but instead they double down on trying to milk their user base.  Tanki will be dead or mostly gone within a year or two and they are just milking the cow one last time.

1. Where did I refer to the developers?  I was referring to a player, not a developer.

2. So you want old players to scare off new players? Sorry if I misunderstood this.

So I have been gone for months and I come back...match making is finally out or so I heard? I mean if it is it's a sad attempt so far. Only difference I see is that it makes you wait longer to get into a game, versus choosing one out of the battle list. the end result doesnt show any match making was done. you still see buyers with OP 10/10 kits and drugs ablaze.

We waited so long for...THIS? Damn I'm really disappointed (but I think the devs are known for releasing bad updates by now  )

Things like the drones, separations of module protections and made more expensive. You get less protection for more cost! Oh but you get to choose any three for your module and that's supposed to make up for a module costing up to 750k? No, not really.

I'm not going to say for sure these really ARE bad updates. I did just come to see how the game has progressed but so far I'm not impressed. I will tell you that.

Anyone know the reference in the white text??

What do you expect? The Russian devs need money for their vodka. They raise prices to try to get us to spend money on the game.

Reading more carefully would help:
