I don't see what your point is, a team with little skill and no protection against a common turret on the enemy team is going to be beaten badly. That's how the game works, there is no feat of great close range skill with the railgun users.

At this point I feel you are just being ignorant, you stand your ground refusing to budge and open up to different ideas. Its useless for me to write so much, I won’t get around your thick-headedness.

I don't know if you guessed it, knew it straight away, checked my profile, or you just got to know, I'am a Railgun user...and I'am taking full responsibility for what I'am about to say, I have never ever...EVER...started shooting at a player ( my team ) because he shot at me, even if he did it on purpose. I leave the battle almost all the time if it was on purpose, feeling weak that I could not do anything about it ( I don't have the hardware capable of capturing a video with high FPS).

 

I guess I'am rare, that makes me special.

 

Now I want to point out something, you behave as if Railgun is a drug, which when you get addicted to gives rise to all the hate, anger, stupidity and what not. However I would beg to differ, its not the weapon that makes people the way they are, nor is it true that the players using Railgun are all salty.

 

I'll tell you a fact, majority users in this game use Railgun as their primary turret, agreed?

Now then if you have agreed I take it that you were telling the truth when you said "I am sure there are extremely furious players playing with other turrets aswell."

Again, if you were telling the truth won't you agree that what it tells us is that majority of the players in Tanki Online are toxic?

What does that prove you ask? Railgun users are the majority, you come by them more often then you would the users of any other turret, you witness their toxic nature more than you witness the toxicity in other turret users.

 

What am I trying to convey here?

I'am begging you not to judge the entire Railgun population by the actions of others ( even if they are the majority ).

Be more broad-minded it does not hurt, trust me.

The majority of the Railgun users are XP/BP players, or players who have friends that are in that community. And there's nothing wrong with that itself. But this community is just so full of rage. They contaminate eachother with this stupid attitude.

 

You say that you're an exception. Well I'd like to ask you a question.. may it be a few questions; do you have friends that play in XP/BP matches? Perhaps you're one yourself aswell. The fact that you're registered on the forum indeed gives me an indication you're not the true esport XPBP ego-gunner that I see everyday in battles. Perhaps you have not been contaminated by this extremely pissed off community just yet. What makes it that you've not followed the culture of the true XP/BP pro? Why aren't you trying to prove yourself against other Railgun users?

 

I may also blame the average age in the game aswell. I feel like the younger players need to prove themselves and by doing so, they gravitate towards this XP community because everyone tells them this is where it's at... this is where the pro's are. T.O. Youtube is full of slowmo'd 60FPS Ego-gun footage with cheap NCS earcancer music. So you see it in Youtube aswell: They don't develop their own style, no they follow others. Most of the TO internet slang is mainly used in that XP/BP environment.  EZ and kid are constant returning provocations that they use. (I have no idea why they rage with the word kid itself though)

 

I have no problem with them cussing eachother out but they bring the damn turret in normal battles aswell. Which means the attitude will follow especially if multiple of them are fooling around and trying to provocate eachother by doing those trickshots. Railgun/Hornet is also not the ideal attacking combination, they're picked off so easily. They are useless to the team if they keep raging against their own species or other players.

 

The thing is, these players are like bubbles that are about to burst... explode if you will. Even the slightest 'mistake' on your end will start them raging against you and boy they will certainly try to get you mad lol.. it has never worked against me though. But I am sick of them ramming and shooting me so since a year or so; I have started to provoke arguments against them aswell by telling the same stuff like I did in this topic. The main reason is for entertainment purposes only but I also did came across a few people who suddenly became actually (quite) reasonable people to talk to.

 

I will not record multers either. It's not that my equipment limits me but they're not worth my time. It's also not worth the effort if you look at the actual punishment multers get. I feel they should be perma banned from the chat from the very first time of the violation so that an instrument of provocation is taken from them. The ban system gradually increases the punishment so with returning violations, a decrease in garage value wouldn't be bad to do either.

Apparently it all works out great for ritzy if...

- targets dont have rail protection

- targets dont have DA

- targets are on a bad team and dont communicate in any way (the single server helps facilitate this)

- targets are blind, or at worst, near-sighted.

 

Once all the planets have aligned, the sky is the limit.

Also, I have learned, that if the enemy has Thunder, just get as close to him as possible while firing so you do damage, but so that if he fires, he has the risk of self destructing while killing you.

As someone who's played 650+ hours with XP, I must say that attacking is the worst with railgun, unless you have it M4 and with Drugs 'n' Drones with Viking. But it is very effective on sneaking up in the enemy base and killing the minespawning titan and grabbing the flag and running away at full speed with the Nitrus active.

XP/BP in normal battle against legends and magnums.

I even died with the flag half way back and collect it after re-spawn from my dying spot (what a team).
