Ability to kick players from your own private battles

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hello tanki

This idea is all about the ability of an immediate server kick from your own private Event.

as you know everyone likes to organize events privately with friends and cousins as a private Event everyday and the problem is when someone leaks the battle link and a strangers comes up with a destructive mind and turn your whole event into a crap.

So there should be some abilities given to an Event organizer tanker who organizes private events for friends and Facebook group-mates to motivate them or anything so that no one can mess with his Event and anything can go easy till the end.

Honestly say, how was it ?

Valid

Planned

This has been suggested before and developers said that they don't want to give players the power to kick anyone for no reason from any game. But since private battles no longer have battle funds, this could actually be implemented. Developers did say something about plans to add a kick system again, but that was a while ago and there hasn't been any more news about it since.

Example: create a private battle, advertise it in chat, wait for players to enter and play for a bit to increase the fund. Before time limit runs out, kick everyone and steal the fund.

Funds no longer grow on private battles

Declined

This has been suggested before and developers said that they don't want to give players the power to kick anyone for no reason from any game. I understand that such a feature would be very useful for events, but it could also be easily abused.

Maf new example please  :D

Maybe for Pakour mode ONLY, because usually events take place in parkours except STG

or maybe you can do it for Private battles only because no battle fund grows in there just like @giant05 said.

parkour battles are where arabs go to burn money to tanki. If you implement this then they wouldn't plant a couple thousand mines all over the battle to fight each other cause the side that the creator of the battle is against could be kicked out at any time.

private battles are where clans do battles. I'm not talking about clan battles only exclusive to in game clans, but like forum clan wars where not everyone has the same clan tag or even a clan tag at all.

so what if Synergy is losing to the almighty GC clan so they kick out their glorious leader @tank40 so they can win?

what you mean copy paste for the win ?

Similiar idea like this was suggested before the MMS was released and got declined because of the private battles since they used to be normal and players got funds from them as well as experience but now private battles no longer give you battle fund and even the experience is changed so since I was in a rush, I simply copy-pasted that idea's answer which got declined and forgot to edit the ''private battle'' part.  Also, that is what I meant by copy-paste for the win.

Last time this was posted I declined it due to the possibility of abusing this feature in a private battle. But since private battles no longer have battle funds, this could actually be implemented. A lick system would be interesting....

Last Time I posted it too from my other account but @Hate declined it.

This was a bit of miscommunication on our part, sorry. I merged both ideas and put the topic under review.

Inspired by the custom game feature in one of my other favorite games, bonk.io.

Let's say that someone's making a rank-up party in pro battle. Friends and other people join and the ranker says "no kill" and everyone obeys except one annoying magnum who keeps firing double-damage shells into the ring and killing everyone. It then gets super-frustrating and there's no way to get rid of the annoying tanker. This exact situation actually happened to me this once.

Solution?

When making a pro battle, there should be an option on the left along with the other options: "Hosted battle" with a checkbox beside it. When selected and the battle is created, it is a hosted battle. When someone makes a hosted battle they are the host. Because they are, they are automatically sent into the battle they just made.

THE DETAILS:

A host can kick any player they want. When someone's kicked they are banned from rejoining. A host can mute any player from chatting, if, for example the player is swearing and the host doesn't want to kick them. (Probably because they're being too nice.) When a host leaves all the changes that the host did are kept and the battle is then free and there is a notification saying "the host has left". When the host comes back in he still has all his power over the battle.

THE POINT?

Developers removed the kick vote for a reason: It was abused. I acknowledge that. But with this there doesn't have to be a kick-vote through the whole game that can be horribly abused. Now with this it would just be for some battles, and not even in standard.

Please think about reviewing this

Planned

There's no need to have a new setting for this. I declined a very similar idea previously because ability to kick players could be easily abused by the creator to gain easy battle funds, but that is no longer a problem since funds and EXP are disabled in private battles. So by default it would make perfect sense of the battle creator had this ability in private battles.

That being said, this won't be added to public PRO battles to prevent abuse.

Everyone likes using Rail in Sandbox, right? Low rankers who do not have M2 have a big problem because when a noob joins the battle and refuses to use Rail, he ruins all the fun of using Rail, especially when he uses OP Thunder or Smoky.

When I make a PRO battle, I should be able to kick all players who refuse to use Rail.

When you create a battle make it XP/BP and you won't have that problem. Otherwise, it's an open battle for anyone to join.
