Why is everyone so hyped?? The paints will be only avaible in shop for real money and the paints wont even stay for ever in your garage. Also you wont get any prize if your choosen team would win. Just after that the paints will be only avaible in containers to keep them forever. Im really dissapointed good luck in this game i have no reason to keep playing this trash.

Deja vu paints. And shop only? What a joke. This is your celebration for the World Cup?

HAHAHAH 2012, euro cup with purple paint, we celebrated with 100 to 500 crystals gold boxes(todays value is 1k to 5k). Couple years ago was where tankers predicts a winning team by buying a paint, and getting rewards.
More recently, it was buying items in garage. If your winning team wins, your amount spent multipied and you get that as a reward.

Now, we are just celebrating by making us use real money to buy them and not receiving anything if the team wins? What has this game becomes?

Tanki devs this is a very disappointing and strange idea for the football event, this doesn't even make sense.

I understand that Tanki needs to make money, but exploiting an event like this forcing people to buy paints, and randomly distributing them in containers with no reward is not the opportunity to do it. Events like this are a fun opportunity to connect with players, and that in itself encourages people to play the game which will make Tanki more money in the end, keep doing things like this and you will lose players.

Some time ago as I understand it, you could buy paints in the Garage cheaply for your favourite team, and bet on the winner for rewards. This was fun, interactive and everyone could participate, not trying to exploit players interest in football for money. But Im quite sure events like this people had fun with and encouraged people to play the game, which made Tanki money in the long-run.

Now if you want to buy your country's paint you need to pay real money, and it has absolutely no in-game benefit other than the paint itself. And adding the paints to containers, especially after the event is totally pointless! So you have a tiny chance to actually get the paint you want from containers, out of all the other container rewards and out of 32 paints even if you get a world cup paint? So you have basically zero chance to get the paint you want. Who wants a United Kingdom paint if they support Portugal? Or a Spain paint if they support Russia? Etc. And once the world cup event is over these paints will only mean we have less chance to get the other good paints in the game people might actually want, people won't want random countries paints once the World Cup is over.

Thanks for the effort Tanki, it was a nice idea but forget about adding the paints to containers. Put them in the Garage instead for crystals so people can actually buy one for the teams they want rather than this pointless idea of adding them as random container rewards. Please remember the way to get players to play the game is not to exploit players for money but to make fun events, which will encourage players to keep playing as Tanki did successfully in the past.

Before few years we could buy from garage ==> 100k+ Players online

Now we need to buy from shop ==> 20k players online.

Really then if this is for real you can count on most players not buying into this .. why should we pay for this when all these years its been in the garage for crystals . NOT WORTH IT.... i can't stand football / soccer in the first place but still would have supported any country if it was in garage crystals.. poor thinking on tanki's marketing / Dev's .... you just keep killing your own  players  on buy now garbage..

the designs of the paints are alright... but some of the countries have such awful flags i really think i will never ever open another container again

it depends cause I'm a buyer and right now with the way tanki prices things in the past its over priced . if its only like $3.99 or less then maybe I will buy just a paint deal..

 

also what happened to the paints that were in our garage from past EURO events were they removed . only cause I can't seem to find mine that I did own ?

We can see that Tanki is thinking any possible way to squeeze money from players. I don't know when they mention the World Cup in this pay event, i.e. receiving money, do they need to pay the copyright to FIFA. Someone knows copyright laws may check on it.
