The only difference is color and animation other is same if you look tank with equipping swash or flow you will see no difference between them until you go near them.

 

It's very easy to distinguish between those two, especially when Flow is an animated paint

In addition, this topic is not about comparing two garage paints or two paints that were available to everyone for purchase at a time, instead it's for a comparison between one special paint (paints that can be won from tournaments, eSports, clubs etc.) and another paint that players can purchase. So comparing paints like Flow and Swash, Marine and Steam and Tanki in Moscow etc. has no point because otherwise the trophy will be held by these two guys:

Anyone who ever saw phoenix and FoV in battle would mislead it at the first sight, even I did and... yeah. Of course if you look at it for one more moment, they look different. But whoever that didn't see phoenix (or any other of these award paints) can easily mislead them with these.

Thats way too much of a jump, there are just too many paints with the same colors for tanki to realistically make each special paint drastically different. Furthermore, how would anyone be able to fool someone else? I can put on any rare container paint and tell people I'm a mod and they will believe it, but anyone who actually cares would know who owns the real paint and who doesn't. Unless you want the words "SPECIAL EVENT PAINT" written on the side of the tank, there is no real way for tanki to "fix" this.
