Are Drones Relevant?

Looks like the Vlog will announce the next three.  At least one of these new ones looks to have much more of an impact. A 2nd one looks almost as strong. The 2rd one seems about on par with the three we've seen so far.

On test server, there are 3 new drones, which are more P2W and expensive since all three of these new drones cost 50 000 crystals each...

 

Personally, I found 2 of them to be a waste of crystals because they present no significant advantage. However, there is one drone that speeds up your Overdrive per kill... and after one kill, it brought my OD from 20% to 60%.... however, the only set back is that there is a minimal timeframe where you can get this kill before the drone runs out of battery.

they are useful but the batteries cost too much

i wouldn't suggest using it unless you get batteries from containers

I decided to purchase 2 drones - I like the Assault done but I don't think it makes any difference to be honest, the supplies end fast and the fun is over.

For those who find it hard to have enough drugs, play a decently long polygon CP no drug game sometime and it should refill you crystal fund to purchase from the garage. I think it is also really good to buy RKs when they are at 50% since thats what people run out of mostly

I bought the Assault Drone when it came out because I thought it would make me immortal, however, it doesn't allow you to regain any health and you are still easily killable because when your drugs run out, you are probably almost dead anyways. 

 

I think the one that lets you spawn with 3 supplies is the best one because you can legit carry the drugs all the way to the other team's base without having them lose effect (10 seconds too long). Also, the benefit of being able to overpower any potential enemies in your base is a definite advantage.

The drone that decreases the recharge of overdrive... I think that is used a lot as the inbalance in games is getting more and more.

I’m seeing a lot of Trooper use - the one which spawns you with all supplies. Most people don’t show that drone, because I see people without visible drones spawn with full supplies frequently.

 

My play style has me leaning toward Assault Drone. Will probably buy both and see which one really suits me before investing in MUs.

I got assault drone, it's not as effective as trooper, although i cant say im sure cuz i don't use trooper. Assault Drone kicks in when you are almost dead pretty much everytime, so there's no point in having supplies replenished. Trooper drone makes you immune to spawn killing, and the time that it is activated for so long so that you can be in the enemy base with 3 supplies already enabled and get a few shots off. Plus, Trooper works everytime you spawn, assault doesn't happen all the time due to the recharge.

Bought both Trooper AND Assault, thanks to quadruple-digit battle funds reaped from the new beast, Firebird. Just starting to MU both drones.

 

Will post some comparative results soon.

Of you mean MU sale, then OK. But I’m not sure the drones themselves will go on sale ever. They are not that expensive to buy at full price. In fact at full price hey are less than all but the highest MU steps.
