Declined ability to download music/storys to game

Since we can't listen to music/story's without lag, I think it would be cool tip be able to download music to ones account so he can listen while in battle. It won't download to others accounts though.

I haven't heard of anyone complaining that their music or other audio lags while playing the game, so there shouldn't be any issue with listening to music from another program while playing.

On the other hand, downloading music into the game requires:

• Many hours/days of development and testing, which could otherwise be spent on more important updates
• Large amount of server memory
• Large amount of server processing power
• Inevitable increase of loading times, worse performance and new bugs/glitches.

So in the end it's really not worth adding functionality that already exists with help from other software.

Server power and memory. Something Tanki doesn't have much of.......

It also makes no sense to increase the capacity of the game servers if they are not used much.

Yeah you're right, didn't think of that, I just thought it woulda been cool if we coulda done something like that but as you said, it's not worth the time

The main hurdle to this idea is copyrights. Who is going to pay for that?

Use your computer player, the radio or simply sing.
