The game cant be this bad...

- You cant invite people to your battles anymore unless you AND your friend are willing to shed 4400 crystals every month (this simple logic defiles me)

You can invite a couple of friends to a battle group and play together, with no need to spend crystals.

For those who say Tanki is dying, I can't say that is entirely true. It has gone into hibernation. The Devs are looking for new players, not the acceptance of the old ones. We will keep complaining, but the new players will come aboard, learn the new game and wonder what the heck we are talking about. New players won't care about the old Tanki, they will only be concerned with the new Tanki. If they didn't like what they see, then they won't create an account.

Tanki will come out of hibernation smelling like a rose, not dead meat. It will have mostly new players and be glad most of the older ones are gone. They won't have to deal with the complaints of the older players, but will bask in the compliments of the new players for being such a great game.

I said Tanki was in hibernation, but that isn't exactly correct, either. It's more like morphing. Like a caterpillar changing into a butterfly in the crystalis.

So... by this time I won't have the green loading bar stalling at 95% and I will actually be able to get into an actual battle?

Not all complaints are about the changes specifically. Some are about the instability the updates create.

If the server issues are solved, even if NO NEW PLAYERS join, complaints could be cut down by 50%.

Not true. Most of the new players are just Legends who create second accounts. Hell, these second accounts cause a lot of true newbies to leave the game because they are overpowered at such an early ranked.

Anyways, you can't ignore the argument that now, the most people online at once is less than 20% of what it used to be. There used to be 100 000 people online at one time. Now, it is hard to find above 15 000 players...

Think of it like a caterpillar shrinking into a single cell... through whatever biological process that is called.

Most of the day at plateau it is 25 000 players you can see here the value for the past 5 days.

So it is more than 20%.

100 k players was when Tanki was advertising massively, and when it was not it was special celebration time (Christmas). During normal day and low player time attendance (exams) the value were around 80k.

So it is about 30%. Yes numbers have declined, and no it is not ignored by TO, this is why they transferred developers from Tanki X team to the Tanki Online and this is why you have seen so many updates for the last 2 years. Hazel from the dev team has explained why, how and when: finish the game, make MMS and currently.

If you'd played in the year 2013-2015, there was 200.000+ online tankers! But it's a normal process, every game has it owns glory. Some games have a longer popularity, it's pretty a hazard. If you look at Fortnite right now, and in 9 years, I'm not sure there will be as many players as it has today! Keep this in mind!
