Incentive for playing more each day

Well at least events are better than having to play a full 15 hours a day to receive "some" rewards. And events are more fun too.

if thyey can have crazy weekend every day then okay my idea is invalid... but for now they are too rare so we need to make people play as much as they can on a daily basis

Imagine having to play the same game for 15 hours a day. Playing that long makes the game boring and tasteless, being a boring and tasteless game makes players leave.

Well then the players who don't play 15 hours a day will be at a disadvantage. I don't think it's fair that normal players get a disadvantage because life demands they don't play 15 hours a day.

the disadvantage won't be too big. 

 

besides, being at a disadvantage for playing too little makes more sense than being at a disadvantage for playing too much. the latter is what the mission system is doing now

If the Developers wanted players to play 15 hours a day. Then they would have already implemented this idea. Instead of playing 15 hours a day. Why not add rewards for consecutive battles played instead? and a bonus reward for consecutive battle wins.

I didn't say "if the devs wanted to do anything they would have done it". I was just pointing out that I think that the developers don't really intend that players play that long. Generally because Tanki isn't really fun to the point that you can play it 24/7.

okay 15 hours was just my example. 

 

but anyway right now it's best to just stop after you complete your misson every day.. and that could take as little as 5 minutes to collect 3 repair kits. 

 

so they definately need it to be longer. maybe 15 is too lon but they could still use this system to make people play longer. not 15 but longer than now

The people who are not playing 15 hours a day are probably at work so they can earn money to buy OP stuff to keep up with those who have the luxury of playing 15 hours a day.

okay i will be using wolfteam system to show you how this would work in tanki if it's the same..

 

if playing 15 hours a day gives you 1 wolfpoint... smoky XT would have to cost at least 750 wolf points... and to MU it to M4 it would cost another 1500 wolfpoints..

so yea... how many people would get stuff like that?

You tell me that i would have to spend 2250 days, every day 15 hrs of playing this game just to get slight bonus on Smoky?!?!?!

I'd rather rob a bank, give money to friend, go to prison 6 years, leave and be rich XD

using the smoky XT example, no one will have it at first so everyone will want to be the first to get it.

 

eventually some of them might get it... but the amount of people that will eventually get it will be so  small it won't deter buyers from buying... but it will still be a source of envy for everyone and encourage people to play more to get it too.

just giving examples... smoky XT would be the highest possible thing you could get with wolfpoints for the most hardcore addicts

 

but there could be other smaller stuff you could get with wolf points like container paints or unlimited supplies pass for 24 hours

Look, concept is good. But 15 hrs are really toooo much.

No matter how addicted you are, you have to:

-sleep

-if adult, go to work, work around house, etc

-if kid, go to school, study, help mom etc

 

I mean, playing 15 hours, every day, in non pro battles, for 2 years just to have Smoky XT? Waste 2 years of life?

It's too much.

Rather make prices 15 times more expensive, but give WP every 1 hr played.

the devs shall decide the numbers and the kind of rewards. I'm just proposing the system and using those numbers and rewards as examples to explain.

 

right now those people you see in ratings for top 100 exp earned? their aim should be to make everyone become as crazy as them.

so the whole purpose of missions is to make people play the game. but lots of people over exploiting missions and benefit too much from missions than they should by playing just enough to complete their missions each day. They stop playing after their missions are done in order to have high amounts of drugs and crystals for their rank leaving others who play more each day at a disadvantage. exploiters like this even manage to buy kits and fully MU them bring them to equal levels as a buyer and thus won't even need to spend any money on this game.

 

I feel that this should not be happening as people should not be encouraged to play less. People who play more are contributing more to this game than people who play less, yet those who play less benefit more and don't have to spend any money. So maybe for people who play at least 15 hours a day and earned at least 10 000 exp that day (bonus from premium won't be counted) in matchmaking battles will get some special currency which can't be gotten in the shop or anywhere else to buy stuff that can only be purchased by that currency? (like wolf points in wolfteam)

the minimum time is obviously to make sure they play enough (and be cannon fodder long enough which is important to keep buyers happy) and the minimum exp is to make sure they don't just mult the battles

 

 

that's why I also set a minimum exp that doesn't include bonus from premium

 

yes, my idea would make those who play more benefit more and that's the whole purpose. because people who play more are helping to uphold the game more and therefore should be encouraged to do so.

 

if it's so short then people who just play that small minimum would be at an advabtage to those who play 20 hours a day

 

I feel that if you don't contribute to the game by buying stuff with real money, you should at least contribute by being cannon fodder for those who pay.

 

the current system makes it such that those who contribute by being canon fodder still have to spend money to keep up while those who play very little don't have to spend money either cause they get the best stuff for their rank on par with mega buyers. this is why no one wants to play longer

 

This is why i propose this idea so more people will be encouraged to play longer

 

 

this is to help the game and not the health of the players. with more people online we won't have to wait so long to get sent into battles.

because matchmaking takes time to send you into battles, that's why i can't go for the full 24 hours.
