Mult Problem in Pro Games And Matchmaking.

HI Tanki,

 

This problen of multing is ruining what should be a fun game. Do you think it would be possible to police the game more closely, and when a report is made simply stop the battle fund being paid out.

 

This would not be a popular move in the short term, but everybody must understand this multing needs to be dealt with and harshly.  

 

I'm convinced the multing would stop or at least be reduced, as there would not be incentive to mult in the first place. Then players would not use a second account to steal Crystals from both Tanki and honest players. If they do take the chance of multing again the Battle fund would be withheld again, and so on, until the multing problem stops!

IMO its a bad idea, this would make it easy for trolls to ruin battles.

Mults don't do jack so they don't get paid. I believe the solution is for TO stop pretending it doesn't know what a CheckUser is or how to operate one, and indef ban all accounts associated with the IPs and technical data of long term abusers.

Okay, so I see that you understand what "Mult" means, accounts owned by the same user (Same IP) that would get put into the enemy team in normal non-pro battles, with matchmaking this is impossible to put an account owned by the same user into the enemy the normal players that just stick around in MM now are possible "Bad players" to some user's point of view or simply got tired of the "Preparing for Battle" while joining a MM battle so then they sit their for an entire 2 minutes then they are removed from that battle after 2 minutes in all normal non-pro battles so they wouldn't be an issue, the issue of them being inactive while waiting for a battle is, they either need to understand how to get into a MM battle and not wait for the next 10 minutes..Simply wait 35 seconds if this attempt doesn't work, try again and you would most of the time be sent into a battle within the next 2-5 seconds after doing the above task. But since Tanki's player base is mainly full of Teenages, they simply don't have the patience to wait for such a time. The problem with multing in pro battles is like a never ending war against battle mods and players who put an alt account into the enemy team to gain unfair advantage over their team (or account) since the MM update it's a good thing that the battle fund no longer grows in private battles (only enough for a rank up with EXP), but from my point of view there are only view ways to deal with it. are.
1: Take your chances with applying for battle mod (The battle mods are out-numbered and simply need more volunteers)
2: Record a video and report it. (Some or most players aren't able to do this due to a number of reasons, trying to get a friend who can is helpful).
3: Report the mult in the Game Reports channel (You may be in a battle with a high score, get on an alt account and report the mult, or if you can't find a BM in the EN reports channel do so in the RU game reports channel, their almost 24/7 there).
4: Use the "/vote offender" command. (Honestly it seems useless, but it needs 25% of the team (or other players) to use this command on a player, if one player votes the offender it would get "Marked" if more of the players vote that player a battle mod will come around, if s/he can.)

The battle mods have been doing an amazing job for the last few months (http://ru.tankiforum.com/topic/126829/). The issue with hackers and mults are kind of a never ending war, players will continue to do this to gain unfair advantages for their account, or game-play. Playing around with the battle fund seems like a very fishy thing to do for a number of mults in battles.

You can inform the mults you've experienced in battles and what they did. 

He was blocking me carrying enemy flag to our base in Highlands map in the last minute of the battle.

I got killed and he returned the flag to our base instead of me.   Very childish thing to do.

I've voted many times and not one moderator came to help.

 

I saw a moderator in battle once, that was when someone called a moderator because I was killing him repeatedly, I did that because he entered with his Mammoth and started killing hornets and wasps, but when I saw him still I stopped killing him and continue parkouring, the russian mod came and saw nothing.

During the July 4th event, I saw a lot of mults. They sit there doing just enough to keep from getting "kicked." But when the siren sounded, they came alive. They respawn and wait for the next drop. 

 

Outside of that, I still see mults on MM. I said it before and I'll say it again. I think there are players who get some kind of satisfaction from just sending mults into battle. It doesn't matter which one. And I'm sure they have several mult accounts at different ranks. 

 

If you see a tank you think is a mult, look up the profile. They will have a K/D so low, it's in the darkest part of the pit. Usually around 0.50 and below. There are also players who aren't exactly mults, but will go headstrong into enemy territory and try to take one the other team solo. This is done repeatedly. These players are just there to make points for the other team. They'll use Wasp or Hornet with Smoky.

Yes every game with a large player base will include these griefers. No game is immune. So system can read a player's mind and see they get their kicks from ruining fun for other peeps.

CooperO appears regularly, she is an admin. The devs change things whenever they deem it necessary. The 2 most common wishes are for the game to be returned to its 2014-15 state (causing bankruptcy) and dealing with hackers/cheaters/mults better (difficult for such a small team, but they do what they can).

Tanki is not listening its players at all. Very Soviet type of system.

 

Discussion is outsourced to mods, who cant do anything. There is no real customer interface in this game.

 

I'm getting really pissed off.

You can start to record when you see it happening and post there: Game Violation Reports 

You also have the /vote system which is now more sensitive since this update: Patch Update #516 - To Be Released 30th June 2018

The number of player reports required for the battle to be highlighted for battle moderators to check was lowered from 25% to 15% of the number of players in the battle.

So it means that you now only need only 3 players to vote (you + 2 more).

 

Third and last option is if you are in pro-battle you can also report to the Chat: give the battle link and the violator nickname + offence type.

 

Regarding what happens with the vote you can ask the question there: Ask a Battle Mod, because Forum mod only operate in the forum while battle moderator operate in game - so yes I'll do nothing in the game because I have no power in the game. Actually if i see one I will use /vote and ask other player to do so. Generally the mult leaves.
