Add battle list (read what i wrote)

Hello!

Like all other players, I don't like MMS too. Why, everyone knows. Not-so-short waiting times as promised, being in battle where only i am not Legend rank, totally unbalanced teams...

So, here is my idea. Instead of only having PRO battles on battle list, put every non PRO battle also. How to prevent multing? If you joined a battle (no matter by MM or clicking on BL) and left, you will not be able to rejoin that match.

I don't ask to remove MMS at all * , just add battle list so you can just click on random battle and press play, so you don't have to wait a lot.

Here is screenshot of me waiting 7 minutes to join Asl mode, and then ending up in 8v5 battle in team of 5. https://prnt.sc/jwicfn

If I will always have to wait several minutes to join battle like this, sorry, but after 6 years, I have to say Goodbye, and this time Forever.

Please, mods, don't just ignore my idea like 4 before.

 

*MMS could be done just by implementing MM in battle button, for example, if you see all CTF battles and then click "Battle" button, you would wait for 15 more players and join full match. And, what's the point of not being able to restart battle by clicking continue?

Unfortunately MM isn't compatible with the battle list. The main reason is still the potential for sabotage. I don't see how your idea prevents multing - I can just call a friend or log in on another account and enter the battle to mult in it. Also, the MM system separates players into teams by skill (apparently), so by allowing players to choose and join battles manually this aspect of MM will lose its effectiveness.

Nice Idea but they don't need it.

but as per you asked about removing sabotage and mult so you can hire more battle moderators to come quickly to battle when somebody

/vote username mult. actually that would be a good idea for tanki and players both. new players ( + old) would believe "tanki cares about it's tankers and look how quick they came to battle on my vote OMG :o :o :o  i can't believe it was very good game"

Most players can't tell the difference between a bad player and an intentional "mult". Even in MM battles people still call out others for multing, so in the end battle mods just end up getting 95% false reports from the total number of reports. So instead of getting more battle mods (which isn't as simple as you think), it's much more efficient to get rid of mults in the first place, which is what the MM system is attempting to do.

hmmm idk,..... I've seen lots of players very high rank at low rank battles and they are too op killing all one-shot. which is  definitely not unbalanced, ...... this need to be talk more

Well it really doesn't to be honest. 

That's why I said "apparently". Developers said that it does but in reality it really doesn't seem that balanced.

This is what MMS promised:

1. No multing. Battles will be balanced.

2. We will be able to find battles very fast.

 

Now, what we got and what we had:

 

Battles were multed very rarely. That was not big problem. What i saw often, after battle ends, most players in losing team left. In rematch it was let's say 8 vs 2. Then, 3 out of 8 players left and joined weaker team. Battle was balanced. Players started joining, it was balanced, battles were played all 15 minutes with max. 1 or 2 flags/ball difference. (ctf / rgb), <15 (15 / 100) points in cp or kills in TDM. That way 1 battle went on for even several hours. I don't say battles are multed now, but if someone invites his Recruit rank friends, sometimes even 3 Recruits, isn't it multing?

Battles now are not balanced, and it will never be, because how can you divide by "skills". There are many other factors:

-Turret & Hull players uses (maybe he is trying something new).

-Supplies, is he drugger or not.

-connection, is he lagging or not.

-sometimes players are not in mood, they play just to do missions or whatever, even if they are good players.

You can't make balance. Is it balanced if i join battle where red team has 2 players and blue team has 7 players? 6 Minutes passed until battle become full!

It was said that it takes too much time to find a suitable battle via battle list. On my alt acc (WO 4 rank) I decided to join a battle, waited 4 and a half minute to join battle where i encountered Major ranks with M3s. If I wanted to play in such a battle, i could just click on battle list and join random battle in no time. With battle list, I'd spend 4 minutes to find good battle and i'd be in that battle several rounds.

Even if battle is being multed, players would leave,join another battle, previous 1 would die, noone cares. Now, if battle is multed, players will leave, again wait a lot of time, join "bad" (prob. imbalanced) battle and lose (or win if they r lucky).

 

 

 

To prevent multing, why don't you disable invites to battles from battle list? Only be able to group with your friends is via group and join same battle. Or, if you don't earn X exp in minute, players will be able to vote to kick you if you are not in better half of team.

 

But, yes, all of this will be declined just because there is slight chance of battle being multed (anyway it will only exist for 10 minutes or less cuz it is balanced so good that 1 team will win in 5 minutes)

The time has come for me to go.

Since Matchmaking was introduced, I started playing less and less. It takes at least a minute for me to join a battle, and anytime i join battle, i find myself around 15 Legends, 20 / 20 (M4 equipment), always drugging... I am not angry when I lose, but, I simply can't do anything to those players. I use railgun the most, and now, everyone got 50 % protection. Add Double armor to that, it is 75% less damage. What's the point of that? In 10 minute battle i get maximum 150 score. Not only that, but i keep replaying on Osa, Kungur, Forest and Brest. They are not bad maps, but if you play on only 4 of 77 maps in Tanki, it gets boring. And... you bring nothing new to TO. Drones? That flying thing just wastes batteries. And one battery costs 300 crystals. Really tanki? I will wait for Juggernaut, maybe I will drive that tank if drugger / camper doesn't take it. I am giving some ideas in forum, noone listens, what's the point anyway? Many ideas get accepted because devs already planned it. Noone cares about this anyway, i think.

I remember when gold boxes were all orange, when supplies looked like Radioactive sign (DD), 2 layers of armor (DA), N2O (SB)... Race track at New Year celebration 2014... When you could make non PRO battle... You'll see me around next couple of days, maybe i change my mind (<1% chance). Then, farewell Tanki, goodbye and Good Luck! You have successfully made me leave.

hes completely right, this happens even on lowest ranks, around my rank. this game nearly died when everyone start drugging, and when druggers become most Op, Then another set of players left when introducing premium (its okey, premium is okey). Then next wave of people gonna left when matchmaking didnt gave them what they wanted, instead ruin the game more.

And now, introducing these new drones which encourage the druggers, it is too much, as he said, drones cost too much, and only people with lots of crystal use them, and that means people who donate or people who always top of battles, and people who always top of battles are druggers, so entire drone thing is just pushing OP people to more OP state.

 

 

maybe even u say u don't remove stuff from game, maybe its time to remove something, for a example, drugging ruin the game balance, and to fix that, u make everyone get free drugs so everyone can drug, but it only made things worst, some battles are like dead,dead,dead and dead,. for light hulls, we have no life, druggers one shot all light hulls if we fail to drug in time. 

 

either drugs should be reworked or removed, its time to do something, or things only get worst with Matchmaking.

^Matchmaking was greatest FAIL of tanki online, 25 000 players lost! No update had that bad feedback, but mod somewhere said it's important to keep game alive. I'd like to know what way does it make alive? By keeping buyers only?

And, as usually, whenever players ask about Matchmaking, MODS NEVER REPLY.
