Please help me make a list because right now, it feels like everything is wrong for TO. The servers used to hold 100000 players at a time and not lag as much the game does now...

premium 

repair kit nerf 

giving players the ability to drop gold boxes

they are all improvements according to tanki

Premium --> Disapprove. Half the players who played TO left because of this buyer only feature...

Repair kit nerf --> Approved! Good nerf, much-needed.

Drop Golds --> Approved! Fun stuff, and who doesn't like gold?

Paint & Module ---> Disapprove. The update that killed the game is the module update. Everyone left after this...

Improvements in my opinion: 

 

Modules

Skins

Micro-upgrades

New turrets

New game modes

Promocodes

Mission chains

Black golds

Modules - Disapproved *see above*

Skins - Approved. New paints are always nice. 

Micro-Upgrades- Approved. Much better new system.

New turrets - Disapproved. Although they increased diversity in the game, hammer, vulcan, and magnum were extremely OP upon release and game changing. Many players left after this.

New game modes - Approved. Although ASL and RGB are lack luster, they don't hurt the game at all. 

Promocodes - Approved. Never seen or used one, but I guess this counts.

Mission Chains - Approved. More rewards for people who play the game.

Black Golds - I will put this under containers, as black golds are containers and black golds are also extremely rare. 

Vulcan texture - Used to have a Hexagonal prism for a barrel.  Now it's noticeably rounder and more akin to a real-life gatling gun.

Not really much of a benefit but I will write this under turret/hull texture, where many were improved.

Skins means XTs.

I don't think Hammer is OP, Vulcan is most weak turret in game, and Magnum is OP.

Oh, I thought you meant paints. Well, both XTs and paints work I guess, I will add that to the list. 

 

I was talking about how all three were enormously OP when they were released and messed up all the game balance.

Ok. What do you say about: Unified Battle List, Lobby Chat, Early battle finish system, Nickname availability, Anti-cheat improvements, Space mode, Ratings and Statistics.

Don't forget about Striker.  Pretty much what everyone says Striker can be summed up as follows:

1) "underpowered" and underutilized due to its quirky firing mechanic

2) not OP (dare I say, genuinely balanced!?), especially when players are busy getting mauled by cheeky griefer Magnums and other meta turrets.

3) a force to be reckoned in the hands of a player that knows what they're doing

Improved? You guys list implemented features of which less than 10% gets changed to better.

No worries.  Here's an improvement: Distribution of battle crystals in non-Pro battles following the MMS update. 

 

Although in my opinion, this improvement should have been implemented many months agos.  It's nice to finally earn crystals based more on your performance as opposed to just winning the battle (Edited), and at least losing teams get greater consolation prizes for performing well. 

 

Too bad the community's still reeling from both the removal of non-Pro battles from the Battle List and the persisting unbalanced battles post-MMS.

"Everyone left after this" who even are you to judge people who left this game? What if some people had issues in real life or had anything else to do? Stop typing like you know every information about people who were playing this game. 

 

Premium --> Disapprove. Half the players who played TO left because of this buyer only feature...

Yet again, you're so arrogant and butt-hurt over an update, thinking EVERY single person left because of this two updates. I don't even care if your friends told you they're leaving because they get owned by a rank below them or because they had premium. Stop talking for everyone else because you have no right to.

Imho a survey about which updates do the respondents perceive as positive in hindsight, would make more sense in this thread.

Improved lag feature

Improved battle and map choices by streamlining them down to none

Improved "no damage" feature that comes up from time to time, thus adding a new dimension of playing a battle

Improved cosmetics to provide a psychological attack with the inference that the prettier one looks the more OP they are

Improved on finding a battle quicker by driving down the number of players through updates of their own

You can add in-game clan system, even if is by far an effective one.

L.E. Nickname change in-game script instead of manual app with Help Desk.

          I think is impossible to build a neat exact and perfect list of good things tanki made or is making for us. What can be good for some, it can be bad for others.  As in the example above: I don't agree with the Repair Kit nerf under the circumstances that  the price of the supply remained the same. Imo it is another rip off tanki did to us all its customers. Separation of paints and modules - another update I don't like, simply because after that, they added 2 turrets to the game (striker and magnum) but in game number of protections was not increased --> results in more more crys required for players to invest in better combos = another rip off TO systematically did to its customers. 

          I understand what you are trying to do with this topic, that not everything TO did is bad and I totally agree with you, but is gonna be impossible to reach the perfect conclusions, universally valid and confirmed by everyone, under the circumstances that everyone is free to have their own opinions and these are, as we can see, so antagonistic.

OD --> Arguable. Is not really an exact improvement but more like a new feature that can be both good and bad. IMO it didn't make the game better. 

Increased Chain Rewards --> Accepted. 

Containers ---> Already added.

Drones --> Declined. P2W feature, not really useful at anything except sucking ur crystals out, although I would like to see how it develops in the future.

Animated Paints --> Accepted under new paints

MM --> Declined. Increased lag is a main factor in this and the fact that MM doesn't even make matches balanced is why I decline. It's more like a bottleneck instead of a benefit.

RGB --> Already accepted.

Ratings --> Accepted. I will put this under "Profile".

 

Why does a known hater of the devs get to decide whats good and what isnt? -_-

Because I'm probably one of the few people who have never spent a single crystal on the game back from before 2013 on this forum right now. Plus, I will not be biased.

Isida Balance --> Declined. Isida is more OP than from 2014 (damage and range were overbuffed) 

Smoky Nerf --> Approved under "Smoky Balance". M0 and M1 Smoky were buffed while M2 and M3 were nerfed to make Smoky a reasonable turret while not making it OP.

Garage tabs --> Approved.

Cheaper PRO pass --> Approved.

Module ---> Declined earlier.

M4 Balance --> Approved.
