Nice update for freeze, I’ve been using it with wasp and I’m able to be more aggressive when attacking isidas and firebirds. Perfect balance now in my opinion, because freeze still has its drawbacks like decreasing significant damage and freezing effect over range.

I just played a couple of death match games with my M4 freeze. Believe me it was not buffed enough.

I'll have you know, I have played 999 min poly cp's these freezes already were good enough, now im sure they will be hazardous

I agree 100%

 

Unfortunately, Freeze is now at the same price => all players should be druggers if they want  to keep themselves alive vs Freezes.

Freeze is now OP. It was already extremely powerful in M4 DM battles. It was obvious just looking at some of the freeze users scores, big K/D and big scores, Devs then buff it....clueless!

 

Anyway, calling all Freeze users to rinse the system of crystals now, teach these Devs the lesson to actually know about their game before they make ridiculous rebalances.

 

Countering Isida trains is understandable, but there are other ways to do it without removing a healer effect from a healer turret. Waste of time giving these Devs feedback tho, they just don't listen. We can see that with Matchmaking. The  MM system still has the same problems and bugs that were highlighted over-and-over again in the MM topic. Looks to me like they've given themselves far much to do in a short space of time, now they're just chasing their tails.

Thank goodness they didn't nerf twins. I heard turret changes and got scared for a minute. Everything they're doing seems far. (But you still can't make me care about obsessively buying batteries. Nice try.)

They SHOULD nerf twins, infinite ammo and high impact force is too overpowered

 

On the other hand, Firebird is left in the dark

It wasn't a good idea to add the extra damage to Freeze, as it already has an extra 2 seconds of ammo against Firebird

Therefore, Firebird is made obselete, as the other 2 close ranged turrets deal far more damage than it does.

 

 

Oh, and a suggestion: nerf the supplies, because DM mode at my rank is Drug To Win

I literally have to use a repair kit every time I spawn

Freeze is OP now, it doesn't even have to try because it vaporises anything it touches. Yes it needs a damage buff but this is too much. This fact which makes this so obvious is 50% of the players in a battle are Freeze...

Developers, I have an idea for improving the matchmaking system.

 

Here it is:

 

Groups--> make the group capacity unlimited.

Map pool--> add all in-game maps.

Two Tanki friends that are not in one group--> make finding where are your Tanki friends possible everywhere, not just in PRO-battles.

Rank Limits--> make choosing the lowest and the highest rank possible.

...............

 

Or remove it because it was VERY confusing.

Unlike Firebird, Freeze doesn't have the additional bonus from burning, and unlike Isida, Freeze's damage drops significantly if the target isn't right next to the tank. So it should be quite a balanced change. Freeze's weakness is undeniable, so it obviously needed a buff. The question is whether this buff was just right or too much, but I guess we'll see about that tomorrow. I feel like Freeze will be the new weapon of choice in DM, since I saw some people getting first place with it even before this update.

with the m1 alteratuion freeze does max damage at the same range isida can do damage so... this means that at any range isida can do damage, freeze now does equal damage as well. but beyond isida's range, freeze can still do damage but reduced. now add in corrosive mix

Let's not forget that Isida is primarily a healing turret.

Okay so Magnum will never be nerfed.

Good stuff on the freeze.. But you killed isida's remaining specialty other than healing, ofc.

I don't really care about my K/D ratio so just drove my tank in between 2 Isida's to break the "chain"'. I usually died, oh well, it's not like I died for real, If a teammate sees that they usually targetted the end, chain broken. Personally didn't see the need to nerf Isida. And I'm a Vulcan user. Used  it like close combat fire/freeze to 'break chain'', it was a tactic, it could be beaten without TO doing this.

I agree with you on all points.  I too use that break the chain by driving into the chain tactic when I can. I agree the chains were breakable w/o the nerf. And I too use vulcan at close combat too. :)

 

OTOH I can see how fire and freeze had a hard time against the isida chains more so than our vulcans or smokys. They could have nerfed Isida a lot harder. This is more a nerf to Isida's team mates than Isida.

 

Nah, just checked in-game, bought the first two MU steps on one of the new drones - same price as the first three.

Is it? TO is not World of Warcraft. Every tank is faced with the primary need to destroy the enemy. Healing teammates is its specialzed effect like dire afterburn, freezes slow. Tehe ae no teammaters to heal in DM or JN.

 

Comments of what a turret role is supposed to be melt in the face of player choice. If one turret is markedly OP the player base WILL flock to it.  If the new Isida cannot fight against the new Freeze get used to playing team modes w/o Isida support... but with a lot of immobile tanks on the field.

They want to sell Freeze kits just like they are selling Magnum kits. It's all about money.

let`s not forget freeze effect is strong when freeze you, you can`t move nothing, with this buff you even die before get freezed. Lmao... What when get m2 alt... that buff was just too much in my opinion.

So when it looks like a kit (or similar kits) are not selling, then they buff the specific turret.

Get your freeze protections to 50% ASAP!!

Another side effect (along with the module update) for Tanki making more money.

Un-buff Freeze, at least a bit.

 

I'm in matchmaking games where people are pulling out their barely-upgraded Freeze M2s and winning the map. I did the same thing and it's almost free wins (not as good at it as some). My Freeze M2 is better than anything else in the garage right now.

 

If this sticks, Corrosive Mix would just add to the OP. Wow.

Freeze is insane right now, 8 seconds of consistent 1000 dps is mind-blowing!

Not exactly 8 sec., but 7.04 sec. Anyway it is obvious that it is not balanced compared to Fire that has about the half of the damage in its magazine. Yes, it has an afterburn too but Freeze got a freeze effect.

Getting only a third of the battle score for healing a full tank in normal battles compared to a kill, tells me something else.
