"Road to legend" for non-buyers

Hello everyone

to follow this plan I advise:

1. play long games, without supplies and MU* (recommended maps taking into account the kits that I will propose: sandbox, island, sand, noise, polygon)

2. Not MU alone 1/10 or with discounts 2/10, never accelerate

3. Do missions, if you do more than 1 mission a day just claim 1 and leave the other 2 as "wildcards" for other days

The kit's are:

Keeper

kreeper.png

Osaka**

30px-IconsNormal_13.png - 30px-IconsNormal_16.png

Simoom

simoon.png

Atlas

Medic**

MU for 1 turret and 1 hull, any combination of these 2 kits is a good m4

If they like to leave I like it since I am working in a new pots that requires more information compilation  :)

If they have other opinions comment or different alternatives equal or better than effective it would be very good to feed the discussion

Mod's I apologize if my post does not belong to this section of the forum, I publish it without encouragement to generate disorganization

*micro updates

**with the recent update, another option would be the Siberian kit and Refrigerator  have similar costs; only 2 things make difference, the protection and the personal tastes of each user.

before anyone else comments

there is a more austere option to be Legend

Buy kit keeper, Tornado and Legend. play from Warrant Officer 5 only xp/bp* and join a clan to avoid spending crystals in pro-pass  :''v

(Technically it is possible but I think it takes longer and requires user skill in EXP battles (In fact, if I opened a YouTube channel I would like to create a series with this crazy plan, but it requires a lot of commitment from my point of view))

Do you mean that people should buy each of these kits? I would leave out Simoon.

Why would you replace Simoom kit? in the range from WO5 to Second Lieutenant (because the smoky and titan are not effective in those ranks) there are very good kits the truth that is a difficult decision, I chose it because it is very good to kill 1 shot with double damage and steal deaths  :'''v

If you are following this build, Osaka would have no problem lasting to Captain where you can buy Atlas. Simoon would be replaced so quickly it would be a waste.

Depends largely on the personal tastes of each user, for example, have 3 short distance turrets... :blink:

I'd rather stick to one combination and microupgrade that one. In the end you'll get the item for free anuway; might aswell take advantage of your MU's in that specific rank range.

Kits have items in them that you don't need such as (expensive) paints. And indeed keep doing missions but all 3 of them for maximum revenue. There are 3 missions a day so why do just one.

I have an alt account with just Magnum and Hornet at M2 10/10. I can really notice the microupgrade advantage. I also have plenty of supplies because of the missions.

1.Buy White paint

2.Buy all M0

3.Buy Mammoth M1

4.Buy Titan M1

5.Buy Shaft M1

6.Do NOT buy Dictator M1 like I did when I was a noob

7.Upgrade Titan or Mammoth to M2

8.Upgrade Shaft to M2

9.Buy Desert, Sandstone, Forester, Cedar, Storm, Marine and use them instead White and Green

10.Upgrade Titan or Mammoth to M3

11.Upgrade Shaft to M3

12.Buy Rock, Taiga

13.You have higher rank than me

14.Buy Rustle, Needle, Prodigi, Carbon

15.You are Legend!

I hope that I will be a Legend after few years but I am happy with my Brigadier rank.

Don't forget you'll be in for the duration: 3 years.

I also disagree on PRO battling, there is no point, esp if you are doing missions.

I am a "Road to Legend" non-buyer.

It's hard. Here's how it goes (this dates back to 2013, these crystals values may be slightly off):

1. Buy m0 Freeze (600 Crystals)

2. Buy m0 Viking (600 Crystals)

3. Buy Blue Paint (100 Crystals)

4. Buy m0 Shaft (1200 Crystals)

5. Buy m0 Rico (1800 Crystals)

6. Buy Forrester Paint (500 Crystals)

7. Buy m1 Shaft (18600 Crystals)

8. Buy m1 Viking (21300 Crystals)

9. Buy M1 Freeze (22600 Crystals)

10. Buy M1 Rico (23400 Crystals)

11. Buy Dirty Paint (19800 Crystals) ---> Updated to give me Shaft M3 Protection (39%) for free

12. Buy M2 Freeze (61340 Crystals)

13. Buy M2 Viking (99900 Crystals)

14. Buy M2 Rico (81400 Crystals)

15. Buy Spark Paint (79900 Crystals) ---> Updated to give me Rico M3 Protection (39%) for free

16. Buy Cedar Paint (35500 Crystals) ---> Updated to give me Thunder M3 Protection (36%) for free

17. Buy m1 Railgun (31400 Crystals)

18. Buy m2 Railgun (80900 Crystals)

19. Buy M3 Freeze (179000 Crystals) + High-Pressure Pump (50 000 Crystals) ---> 14/20

20. Buy M3 Viking (201 000 Crystals)  ---> 5/20

21. Buy M3 Railgun (224000 Crystals) + High-Caliber Ammo (100 000 Crystals) ---> 5/20

22. Buy M3 Hammer (205000 Crystals) ---> 5/20

23. Buy M3 Rico (230000 Crystals) + Minus-Field (50 000 Crystals) ---> 6/20

24. Buy M3 Titan (200 000 Crystals) ---> 5/20

25. Buy M3 Isida (220 000 Crystals)  ---> 5/20

26. Buy M3 Hornet (225 300 Crystals) ---> 2/20

As you can see, I spent a lot of crystals and never bought a single kit... but I think it is only possible for a non-buyer to get to Legend if they only buy during sales.

btw, i'm broke right now XD

But based off my purchase history, although things have changed, I have made these following conclusions:

1. MU only during 50% off sales, NEVER speed up.

2. You don't have to buy a kit. Kits are sometimes too expensive for my non-buyer total of crystals

3. Alterations are to be only bought if they make your weapon 2x better and only when you have some crystals left over where you can only afford to purchase alterations.

4. Don't purchase supplies from garage. Get them from your missions.

5. You can get a lot of different turrets you use, as long as you don't waste your crystals on other things.

As a first point, I am on the premise that if you are a road to Legend player, you need to be a player who spends a lot of time in the game, this is reflected in advancing from a fast range so MU is not effective in road to legend. to the range of a weapon's kit before having the weapon at its level when they unlock it "free"

although at the moment they ruined even more the kits an advantage that they offer are the protections besides the kits that I am proposing have paintings that have low cost therefore it raises directly proportional its cost effectiveness

have 10/10 m2 is very good but from my point of view have m2 10/10 m2 is for buyers or normal payers, since they spend more than 200k in a single weapon and a non-buyer they are very good those 200k for m3 kit, (I have a account in wo5 with vulcan m2 10/10)
The missions with the current pairing Matchmaking System can be a nightmare for players with few supplies so I recommend that if you do all three just claim 1

Instead of Simoom, why not buy Minotaur?

I propose that kit because I would have to play until First Lieutenant with isida m2 and titan m1 or hunter m1 is an option but what makes me choose the thunder over the twins is that the thunder does not need alteration to be good

Kits below m2 are really not required. I am doing just well with a few pieces of equipment and no kits.

in you'r rank in the plan that I propose would already have 2 turrets m2 a hull m2 and a m2 protection, all this thanks, to the kit m1 that arises is very good to earn and save crystals besides being a very good kit to advance from fast level

who has that much time to wait for kits... i never bought m2 and m1 kits because i ranked up too quickly to wait for the one i wanted to appear in the garage.

That is an indisputable point, a huge obstacle faced by the player who undertakes a "road to legend" without buy's, however, it may help him to collect crystals,supplies and containers with the rewards to the weekly missions chains.

It should be noted that thanks to the recent updates in the rewards in the containers, it is a risky but very profitable option (I mean the recompense of 100k 300k and 1M)

Ok, so great advice, but you forgot to mention joining a clan to avoid overspending on PRO-Battle pass (PRO is not a good name for it)

You are right to join a clan is recommended, I even mention it in this comment but with a more ambitious plan :D

your progress to be a non-buyer is admirable B)

I do not want to belittle your opinion but I want to offer another point of view.

1. you

1. MU only during 50% off sales, NEVER speed up.

My opinion

before having 2 m3 kits, if it is too bad to improve more than 2, even if they are discounts, I will not discuss that, however, when you already have 2 m3 kit you have to think of combinations m4 is special 1 turret and 1 hull, and something that I have experienced from my own experience is that when you update micro for m4 you have 2 options:
-As you acquire crystals spend in 1 step of micro update and wait for the time.
-The option that I offer, but do not publish in the pots is the following take advantage of the discounts and I will explain it in an example:
the cost of 9 MU for ricochete m3 is 108,500 without accelerating, however, if you save and expect discounts (I mean 50% Upgrade discount and 70% Speed-up discount) for a cost of 109,400 you would get 13 MU in ricochete m3 without Delay time (except the last step), I also emphasize that having 2 m3 combinations saving 110k of crystals is easy

2. you

2. You don't have to buy a kit. Kits are sometimes too expensive for my non-buyer total of crystals

My opinion

If you are a thrifty player and invest considerable time in the game and games with great rewards, without being a buyer you can get a sufficient amount of crystals to buy good kits, I also want to emphasize that I chose these kits because of their low cost. not include expensive paints

5.you

5. You can get a lot of different turrets you use, as long as you don't waste your crystals on other things.

My opinion

For this plan I start from the premise that the player who aspires to be a "road to legend non-buyer" must have an objective mentality and not a collector many players (not buyer) are stagnant or getting a worse every time k / d either by collecting turrets m1, m2 or m3, examples there are plenty of players in WO5 with all the turrets and m1 helmets easily eliminated by a m2 rail of 1 or 2 shots with double damage, players in Lieutenant General with many m2 easily eliminated by the best m3 kits and even players in legendary range (not buyers) with all or many m3 very easily eliminated by m4 turrets with double damage including 1 shot if you have a Viking m3 0/20 and shoots a m4 20/20 rail with double damage and alteration

This is incorrect math, buying every upgrade and speed up on a 50/70 sale actually costs 10% more than buying each upgrade individually and not buying sped ups without a sale.

ensure that "a cost of 109,400 you would get 13 MU in ricochete m3 without Delay time (except the last step)" it was my mistake.

But your argument lacks evidence, my error is not maths as you claim and the proofs are in this capture of a spreadsheet

Screenshot_188.png

his mathematics is incorrect and I am testing it with solid quantitative arguments, not like his poor qualitative arguments lacking in logic

Change the legend symbol to a marshal symbol, you can't get kits past marshal.

I will not change it, read a line above I mean the cost of that combination m4 -.-"

add a guide on how to get the most out of the kits I suggest,it is a very good idea  :D

In fact, adding more content will help my aspirations to the official newspaper, postulating from the amateur writing section

For kits it's based off personal preference. In my opinion, Tornado, with the high caliber alt, would be great for one-shotting anything pretty much

Because MatchMaking has normalized most maps, Twins is very effective if a bit annoying until you can buy the Stable Plasma Alteration.

For my crystals, I would avoid kits, and stick with a solid Twins-Viking rig and gradually upgrade them along protection modules against whichever turrets seem OP at the moment.

Moreover, I believe the recent module change to be revolutionary for mid-game progression. In order to stay ahead of the balance changes, you’ll need to invest in all protections and gradually MU them probably about halfway. Then whichever turret gives you the most trouble gets more MUs.

^But that’s expensive and probably only good for free play low M3 ranks. M0-M2 should focus on having ‘good enough’ protection against Railgun, Thunder, and maybe Firebird or Twins or whatever else bugs you the most. But limit how thin you spread those low rank module MU crystals.

Anpther plan to get to legend.

Do missions every day.

MU your gear to the next m-level and trade it in when the new level unlocks. In general buy the 1st 5 steps at full price. But the last 5 steps on sale. Don't use speedups, usually at least. Prioritize hull and turret over modules.

Don't put to much into modules until m2 versions unlock.  FRom LtCol on up you can start to expand and mu your module colection.

If you want to get involved with drones pick the one you really want early but do not use it until you have MUed it to about 10 steps. The 1st 5-6 steps are ok to pay full price but after that look for sales and let it take time.Let batteries amass in the meantime.

For the most part forget kits. They made sense in 2016. This is 2018 however and now MU and trade-in is is the way to go. Itis cheaper and gives you more benefit frm your investment sooner.  You will need those MU levels because Matchmaking WILL put you in battles against higher ranks.

Take your time ranking up. There is no reason at all to power-level. But there are good reasons to avoid power-leveling.

For everything else: Play the game they way you want and have fun. Just do missions and you will have tons of income.

My free-play Captain alt just upgraded his turret and hull to 10/10 = M3 strength.

M3 equipment doesn’t unlock for something like another SIX ranks! And that’s early unlock kits - garage M3s are even farther away.

What the heck am I going to do with this guy now?

Even with free M3s, I can’t start micro-upgrading for a VERY long time.

I could buy more M2s, but that doesn’t sound wise in the long run. I could buy and buff modules, but several of those have rankup restrictions above Captain. Drones? Prevailing wisdom seems to be that they are just not worth it. Save my crystals for the future? Maybe - but booooooring!
