           Interview with Torbon_BoS

Greeting Tankers!

Today I'll be interviewing with event administrator Torbon_BoS. In this interview, we'll be getting to know Torbon_BoS better as well as asking a few questions about how events are working and how they will continue to work. Let's get started!

LunaStar: Hello Torben, Thanks for giving you precious time to me for a short interview. Could you please introduce yourself?

Torbon_BoS: Hi, I'm Torben_BoS. You may already know, but my real name is Torben.  I'm from Germany and still going to school. I'm 19 years old and spending most of my time with programming, helping in Tanki and of course playing online games.

LunaStar: Well, that's awesome, Can you tell us how you started your career in this game? How did you find this game?

Torbon_BoS: An old friend told me about this game back in 2012. We played it all day long. Later on, he left the game, but I stayed and started my career as an Event helper, that was more or less four years ago. Helped in a lot of Events, at this time they were under the eSports organisation, so I helped with the German clan section as soon as I became an organiser. And later I was promoted to be one of the two Admins of the Events section.

LunaStar: Alright! That's interesting to find out that you're an admin. Are there any changes to events which we can expect to see in the future?

Torbon_BoS: Well, we try to keep the events running. Since I'm not solely responsible for everything, my team and I discuss different ideas. We try to make players spend fewer drugs as well as host events in new time zones. We are also working on a better system to get links shared and having different players in each event. Our primary goal behind all this is to give players something new, rather than just joining a battle and trying to be the best. Something where they could have some fun and may even win a prize.

LunaStar: Wow, that's nice. Ever you faced some difficulties being a candidate event helper?

Torbon_BoS: That's long ago, I was promoted to an event helper pretty fast, and the only problem I can remember was too little time to help with school projects.

LunaStar: What was your goal in this game? An Event admin or is it something other than that, which you haven't achieved it yet?

Torbon_BoS: I had some goals in the past. My first one was becoming a marshal, which was the highest rank at this time. And I made it, took me some years, but I made it. Then I wanted to have a complete m3 garage, and I did this as well. At the moment I have the goal to help players, and that's why I spend my free time to organise events each day.

LunaStar: After working for years finally you achieved your goal, That's pretty good. What is your favourite event? Which event do you think will benefit players?

Torbon_BoS: My favourite event is Lucky Gold box since all players get the same chance to win and it's just a matter of luck. Also, who doesn't like gold boxes? :) The event with the best benefit for players is last man standing, you can win up to 20000 crystals, but you have to use a lot of supplies for that.

LunaStar: It was lovely to interview you, Is there something you'd like to tell the people readings this?

Torbon_BoS: Thanks for the interview and don't forget to visit us in events.

LunaStar: Good Bye, have a lovely day!

Torbon_BoS: Good Bye!

I Hope you enjoyed by reading this interview and that you leave this with a better understanding of how event helpers work and hopefully, got to know our friendly event admin, Torbon_BoS, better . Thanks for the reading

I quite enjoyed reading this interview. It was quite informative and different than most interviews in that there was a lack of a feeling that you were trying to troll people. Nevertheless, I did notice a few things about it.

  • Grammar: I found this aspect of your article to be particularly lacking. There were quite a few instances where you didn't make sense or your meaning was obscured. I would suggest that you consider proof-reading your article to catch the big mistakes and use editing software such as Grammarly for smaller, punctuation type mistakes.
  • Humor: This aspect, as I said before, isn't really that necessary, but I feel that with a bit of non-sarcastic humor would certainly make your interview more interesting.

At 5th question in torbon's answer it is " this was the highest rank at this time." But it's not this time it is that time hope you will change it.

Been a while since we had an interview, so hats off to you. Personally, I believe that the interview lacks brevity. In most cases, interviews almost paint a portrait of the interviewee and occasionally accurate representations of their everyday dynamic just by offering significant contextual information. If you put contextual background into perspective (when composing your questions), I think you'd hit the jackpot. Lastly, I noticed that you somewhat touched on Torbon's position in TO. It's important that you provide a summation of his character right at the start. (What position does he hold and the duties of that position, just a brief summary to bolster the readers)

Nonetheless, you effectively documented your motives, we now know a little more on Torbon.

I think that the article was nice. I find it quite entertaining to have humorous articles to work with and I certainly did enjoy this one. That being said, I found a few things that could be improved.

  • Word choice: I noticed that you use the words "actually" and "amazing" a lot. Word choice might not seem that important, but it can certainly make an article pack a punch. I would suggest you to maybe take 5-10 minutes after you write your article to find synonyms for words you already used lots of times. It doesn't mean you read some ancient novel, just a quick google search for "synonyms for x" where x is the word you overuse.

No offence, just sayin'. You should take your own advice and work up on it, too.

You interviewed someone who the community knows hardly anything about (or, at least me). Good job, do look up on the grammar as said by lolkiller.

Thanks! This was my first interview that's why there were a  few grammatical mistakes.

I like such short, to the point interviews. That is what they are at first meant to be.

Not a long, drawn-out, useless, boring conversation.
