Do you have a great idea for Drones? You can post your Suggestions here!

 

You can post ideas regarding:

  • Completely new drones
  • Visual designs for current or future drones
  • Changes or adjustments to the drones feature as a whole
  • Suggestions for balance adjustments on existing drones

1: Shield Drone (drone favourite mode any) (best strategy Defence )
(when activated shield drone there will be a 180 degree force shield in front of our turret which will rotate with the turret and will be activated for few seconds)
* EFFECTS the shield will ignore when shooting at it except from ricochet (it will reflect when hit the shield
as well as magnum if it would be able to shoot above the shield (that means behind the shield) it will cause damage to the tank.
Reloading time : 3mins Duration: 10 sec (while upgrading the reloading time reduces and and active duration increases

 


2:EMP (electromagnetic pulse) drone (Drone favourite mode Deathmatch) (best strategy attack)
when the EMP is activated , for a few range , all tankers within the range will deactivate there supplies
except for teammates
*EFFECTS (not only tanks around you who are activated supplies at the moment will only deactivate, the tankers who doesnt use supplies will all reduce -5 sec for recharge time (doesnt change while upgrading)
Reloading time: 2mins Duration: none

 

3: Suicide drone ( Drone favourite mode Deathmatch , team deathmatch , assault ) (Best stratergy none)
the only thing the drone does is when u get destroyed the tanks around you will get a a small splash damage tank
might have a chance of getting an extra kill

 


EFFECTS the kill will be shown as been killed by your turrent and the protection does matter for it
when upgrading the drone a small amount of splash damage and the splash damage range will increase
(ACCORDING TO THE TURRET YOU ARE USING THE DAMAGE DEPENDS eg:- m1 = 0.1 damage , m3 = 0.3)
Reloading time : none (works only when you get destroy) Duration: none

 

 

 

Batteries will be Reduce as normally as like other drones even tho u use it or not

Crafter-looks like cube, throws pickaxes against enemies

 

Gunner-looks like gun, fires batteries against enemies

 

Raeder-looks like battleship...(joke)

I really hate it when mines disappear. I have an idea that might work for Tanki Online and solve this disappearing mines problem when getting killed.

 

How about developers create a mines drone that stops mines from disappearing when getting killed. The mines drone can also make the mines deal 4000 HP of damage. That is enough to destroy an M4 Mammoth when driving over the mine.

 

Deployed mines must come to good use instead of disappearing and being wasted. I have also noticed that players move back of miss mines when I drop them on the ground. The drone can also make mines invisible so that enemies don't see them and will drive over them instead of avoiding them. That will also make sure that mines are not wasted.

Developers thought about this plenty of times (and even tried playing "test versions" of the game where the mines did not disappear), and they made a certain decision that mines have to disappear when the player dies or leaves the battle. Because if the mines do not disappear, what will happen is that everyone will drop mines in important locations (e.g. base entrances), without worrying about the mines being wasted. 

 

Even a drone that gives you this ability is something that is most likely won't happen since developers already made a certain decision that mines have to disappear so them releasing a drone that does the exact opposite of what they said isn't something to expect. Aside from that, putting mines and simply not worrying about whether you die or not will turn the battle into a minefield since no one needs to worry about his/her mines disappearing so everyone will just keep on putting those mines whenever they want to make the battle nothing but a mine one and certainly not a fan one too which is why mines need to disappear when you die.

Drones we need.

 

1. Mines drones - Mines will not disappear and deal 4000 HP of damage for 1 minute. 4000 HP damage is enough to destroy an M4 Mammoth. This drone will also make mines invisible for 1 minute.

 

2. Gold and black box drone - This drone will magnetize gold and black boxes to help you catch them in battles. This drone will activate a powerful magnet that will quickly snatch the gold box and containers from the parachute. The drone's effect lasts for 1 minute.

 

3. Invincibility drone - This drone will make your tank indestructible for 1 minute (similar to God Mode).

 

These are my three drones I have in mind. All my drones ideas are much more helpful than the current existing drones because they are completely different from the current drones which only activates supplies (similar to the overdrive) which we use currently. So, for this purpose, I have decided to ask for three drones which are completely different from the usual mechanic of supply drones.

i have the idea for a drone. Say you want to create confusion among your enemies especially in capture point/flags or any other mode....

you want a minute no a fraction of a minute of distraction.... what would you do?

 

presenting you:

 

Decoy drone:-

                       the drone will make another tank (hologram kind not real ) appear close to you in the battle for a small time                        ( say 5 seconds). this is to confuse the enemies on which tank is true and which is false. this effect can be removed by the EMP of an emp drone. decoy drone will have medium-long reload time. and will use batteries in pulses(more during the process of decoying and less while reloading). once activated the tank will disappear for a fraction of a second an come back as two.

 

note: you will take damage if hit but the decoy won't. but the enemies will not know which one to hit.i understand this is hard in terms of programming but just a idea  :rolleyes:     

 

i will also like to suggest an addition to the EMP drone

 

maby the EMP drone could reduce the effectiveness of other drones.

A "wall-hack" drone. Allows players to see through obstacles. Price: very high, only available on the Shop.

That will be hornet's overdrive though

Drone rental

 

I have the Trooper drone and the Mechanic drone.  Wish I could get the crystals back on those two....

 

Why not create a rental system for the drones?  Nothing much more to elaborate....

 

Not being in control of the drone is a MAJOR bummer.  At 300 per battery, the benefit seems really low.

I will straight up tell you that the devs are way too lazy to bother adding a rental system of drones, considering how the point of drones and batteries are to suck the crystals out of the player and make them pay real money. 

 

So save and spend your crystals on something worthwhile, like upgrading your hull.

If you wanted to test a drone before buying, test server was the place to do that when its open.

Sorry...didn't know that was a possibility.

 

However, they do allow rentals for the enhancements on the turrets.  Just thought they could extend it to drones.

But

 

I like this idea maybe you can rent them out per battle.

Example: Would you like to rent this drone for this battle? (500 crystals)

You will still have to pay for the battery's yourself tho.

 

My point: Nice idea I think it will work best on 2x funds other then that it may still be worthless and a crystal drain. I would have to agree with sensei_tanker.

This is a free game and the developers have to make money somehow.  I have no problem spending $ when I think it will help my game out.  I think the cost of the drone is high / the cost of batteries is high / and the lack of control when the drones function is low. 

 

I would probably have spent my crystals on turret or hull upgrades or supplies if I had a chance to do it over.

 

FOR EXAMPLE:

I use Ricochet.  I like it a lot.  There are a couple of enhancements that go along with it.

a. Minus-field stabilization and;

b. Unstable plasma

 

I had the option to try both out by renting.  REALLY like the MFS mod.....really did NOT like the Unstable Plasma.

 

The result?  I upgraded to MFS and I did a pass on the Unstable Plasma.  Would like the same experience for drones -- that's all.

Idea for new drone. Name: Camper.

 

After getting _ amount of kills without dying gain infinite double armor, double damage and speed boost until dying.

 

At 0 MU, 25 kills needed for effect

At 20 MU, 5 kills needed for effect

 

 

 

Just kidding  :lol:

Bruiser Drone

 

When activated, this drone will damage any enemy your tank touches. It will deal 1000 (0 MU) - 2000 (20 MU) damage in a 20 second period before wearing out and becoming useless. It can damage more than one tank at once as long as you're still touching the enemy tanks.

 

Healer Drone

 

When activated, this drone will heal any ally your tank touches. It will heal 400 (0 MU) - 800 (20 MU) health points in a 20 second period before wearing out and becoming useless It can heal more than one tank at once as long as you're still touching your allies. Won't heal any ally with a full health bar.

 

Hacker Drone

 

When activated, this drone will invert the controls of any enemy tank in a 3 (0 MU) - 4 (20 MU) Meter radius. However, you must stay within close perimeter (The 3-4 meter radius) of the enemy tank for a 5 (0 MU) - 3.5 (20 MU) second period for the drone to hack into the enemy tank's systems. Useful for countering enemy circling tactics.

 

Thorn Drone

 

When activated, this drone will reflect 5 (0 MU - 15 (20 MU) % of the enemy's damage back onto them. Will also make Firebird/Frreze users overheat/freeze from attacking your tank. Also reflects the healing power of an ally Isida back onto them.

 

Stealth Drone

 

When activated, this drone will reduce all sounds caused by the hull and turret by 30 (0 MU) - 70 (20 MU) %. Will also reduce the visibility of your tank by painting it with similar colors of the environment around and behind the tank. This effect however diminishes over range. As the paint will start disappearing when an enemy tank comes within a 60 (0 MU) - 40 (20 MU) meter radius. The visibility effect will not work on team-mates as they will still see you from any range. Also note that you are still visible when the visibility effect is activated. As the visibility effect will only make it harder for your enemies to spot you.

 

Boxer Drone

 

When activated, this drone will shoot non-damaging high-impact beams at the corners of any enemy tanks hull within a 15 (0 MU) - 40 (20 MU) meter radius. This will sway the enemy's hull to the right and left therefore making it harder for the enemy to aim and shoot at you. The impact force that the beams produce vary between 160 (0 MU) - 280 (20 MU) impact force. The drone will shoot 1 beam every 7 (0 MU) - 5 (20 MU) seconds, and it will always aim at the right/left corner of the enemy hull. It will never attempt to flip an enemy hull with the exception of airborne enemy's, as the drone will still aim for the corner causing the enemy to possibly flip mid-air. The drone can only target one enemy at a time and will aim for the closest enemy to your tank.

Recoil Drone

 

When activated, this drone will reduce any impact force your tank receives by 25 (0 MU) - 50 (20 MU) %. It will also reduce any recoil your tank produces by 30 (0 MU) - 60 (20 MU) %. It will also increase your turrets impact force by 5 (0 MU) - 10 (20 MU) %. Is not very effective when used with short range turrets. 

 

Cosmetic Drone

 

When activated, this drone will improve your tanks appearance  in various ways. It will add a visible glow around your tank, the glow's color will be based on your paint. It also illuminates your tank from the inside as well as changing your tank tracks. It will also add visual effects to the tank (fire effects, butterflies, etc.). The effects, glow, illumination, etc. should be editable by the player too. However, the drone takes about 10 batteries to activate (As cosmetics do not affect the battle and are made for buyers or ones that can afford them), but fortunately it will last you the whole match (even the 999 minute ones). MU-ing this drone will add more options and effects to the drone that you can add. Note that this drone may cause severe lag, especially if multiple players inside the battle activate the drone. Also note that this drone should only be purchasable in the shop, either that or it should cost a ridiculous amount of crystals. I think that the ability to equip this drone alongside one other drone should be made possible.

 

Engine Drone

 

When activated, this drone will increase your turrets rotation speed by 20 (0 MU) - 40 (20 MU) %. It will also increase your hulls turning speed by 20 (0 MU) - 40 (20 MU) %. As well as increasing your hulls acceleration by 25 (0 MU) - 50 (20 MU) %, the top speed however remains untouched. It also adds a cool engine sound which is obviously optional.

 

Feather Drone

 

When activated, this drone will decrease your hulls weight by 20 (0 MU) - 40 (20 MU) %. As well as increasing your hulls overall power by 10 (0 MU) - 30 (20 MU) %. This drone will also increase your hulls top speed by 10 (0 MU) - 20 (20 MU) %, the acceleration remains untouched however. The drone will also add a few unnoticeable wings and spoilers here and there to make you last longer in the air, as well as making your jumps noticeably higher.

Aim assistant drone:

                              I have often felt this as an rail-gun user that small miss calculation of aim... and poof goes your kill. Like some help? I bet you do. So presenting you the aim assistant drone. the drone requires 6-10 seconds or so to prepare itself after that you can have about say 1 minute or so of assistance with your aim. It provides different kinds of assistance for different kinda of weapon systems:

  

class 1: thunder, rail-gun, smokey:  To these guns the drone just improves the accuracy of shorts even at long range.

class 2: firebird, isida, freeze: to these  hulls the cone angles increase and the the discharge material deviates a little more to the                                                      nearest tank even if not exactly aiming.(useful for inexperienced players attempting kill circles)  

class 3: hammer, ricochet: To these turrets the bounce is perfected to a degree along with an amount of distance aim

 

​class 4: striker:  to striker it speeds up the lock on and improves non lock on aiming.

class 5: shaft: to shaft it will improve non scoping aim and will show potential targets(as in striker now)

class 6: magnum: to magnum it gives one degree(say power control or yaw control but no angle control) to the tanker  

i dont know what it can do for twins :unsure:  :unsure:  :unsure:
