Ideas for Drones!

Drones fly high enough to be safe from close range weapons.

meh... and what if you are shooting down at the other enemy?

Does it really matter though?  -_-

I mean no but its an aesthetic mistake that should be fixed if Tanki wants to have any good reputation at all so actually yes XD

More drones ideas

 

Well, initialy i did hate the idea of these drones.

Attacker (passive drone)

10 Bonus EXP for capturing a flag/point or killing enemies in their base.

Spy (active drone)

Shows enemies health bars for 5 seconds.

Breaker (passive drone)

Ignores 10% turret protection modules.

Defender (passive drone)

10 Bonus EXP for returning a flag or killing enemies in your base.

Detector (passive drone)

Increases landmines detection.

Pit (F1) (passive drone)

Increase isida heal range.

Shows Shaft's lasers.

XP drones won't be added since they don't help in battles and cripple anyone who isn't a heavy buyer or a legend, Detector is useless, Caretaker probably won't make it in since it requires a specific turret, same with Thermal but can't you already see the lasers? Unless you mean have it show it as soon as the shaft starts charging, which is about as helpful as Detector.

Remove Nitro from Trooper Drone

 

Trooper Drone was probably intended to remove the possibility of being spawn-killed; however, it does it's job way too well. Not only does it remove the chance of being spawn-killed, but also players using trooper are able to cross into the enemy base and still have their supplies activated. 

 

Trooper Drone is already overused compared to the other drones, and the reasons for that are obvious.

 

My idea is to remove the Nitro from the Trooper Drone. This way, the trooper drone can't make it to the enemy base before the drugs are de-activated and the drone can only be used for purely protection against spawn-killing. Also, protection against spawn-killing doesn't require you to be fast, you only need double armor and double power in order to be protected, so there is another reason why nitro doesn't belong with Trooper Drone.

Drones we need.

 

1. Mines drones - Mines will not disappear and deal 4000 HP of damage for 1 minute. 4000 HP damage is enough to destroy an M4 Mammoth. This drone will also make mines invisible for 1 minute.

 

2. Gold and black box drone - This drone will magnetize gold and black boxes to help you catch them in battles. This drone will activate a powerful magnet that will quickly snatch the gold box and containers from the parachute. The drone's effect lasts for 1 minute.

 

3. Invincibility drone - This drone will make your tank indestructible for 1 minute (similar to God Mode).

 

These are my three drones I have in mind. All my drones ideas are much more helpful than the current existing drones because they are completely different from the current drones which only activates supplies (similar to the overdrive) which we use currently. So, for this purpose, I have decided to ask for three drones which are completely different from the usual mechanic of supply drones.

These drone are too overpowered, and will have a ZERO PERCENT CHANCE of being implemented into tanki

A drone that while activated drops a supply when you kill an enemy

 

A drone that drops a mine when you kill an enemy

 

Bring back crystal supplies by having a drone that drops crystals when you kill an enemy

Make a drone with missiles and sub mini gun

Active them and they will attack an enemies

Shooter drones - blasts down other drones with a pistol cannon thingy

Shielder drones - when an enemy turns their turret at you, the drone flies in front of you and unfolds into a shield. Basically this drone sacrifices itself for you.

Spy drone - a cool drone that you can drive off somewhere and when you press some certain key it would give you the aerial view of the place it flew above. Press the key again and the camera switches back to your tank.

Bug drone - A mechanical cube with fast fluttering wings on top that flies to enemy tanks and sprays acid into the place where the turret and hull connect.

Bomb drone - self-destruct drone. Another self-sacrificing drone that flies to enemy and blows up, doing damage.

 

Plz put this on the list of current ideas

Battery need update

 

hi everyone.

I have a good suggestion about batteries that the lack of it is annoying.

I do not want my battries to be turned on automatically and should be actived as they are needed by ourseves like other supplies.

I agree with the idea, but it's unlikely it will get implemented. Devs don't want to do this to avoid adding a new key for controls. Perhaps they also made it like that so players spend more batteries, but I don't want to speculate.

I doubt that a "7" button is the problem. One could argue it is for more convenience to not need to press it all the time, but I am pretty sure, it's made to get a higher consumption. Well let's leave it as a speculation.

2 super cool ideas for drones 

 

1. ghost

this drone doesn't do much till you give it a battery after which it makes your tank invisable for 20 seconds WOAH

 

but this "ghostly" abillity comes at a cost mainly if you fire your turrent the game is up and your foes can see you.

also take any kind of damage and you invisiblty is gone. also the cloaking is not instant and you can seen. as you start translcent before you go transparent. and just because they cant see you doesn't they cant touch you, bump into a tank and your cloak isn't destroied but your foe knows where you are. 

 

a good counter to this drone is to use the firebird and just spray flames where you think a enemy tank could be

its name is A.C.E.S (advanced combat encounter system if you want to know what it stands for)

 

now i have seen a LOT of people talk about drones that do damage but ACES seems to be pretty balenced. it attacks by firing a emp dart every 2seconds that does ONE damage but seats overdrive to 0 dissables all supplies and makes the tank immobile for one second. more than enough time to land a follow up shot. this major does NOT cost battries to mantain but its second ability can eat through an aveage drone users battery surplus in mere two or 3 uses. use you overdive and a box will pop up saying active strike press the y key and at the cost of TEN battries activate ACES patenter in descruction H.O.L.E (which stand for High Orbit Laser Emitter) to call down an ordital strike to smite any tank in the area of the impact. but dont worry if you are in the zone there will be ample warning before it hits with a klaxon and WARNING in big red letters on the screen. the question is will you be fast enough to escape? use hornet or wasp treads? no problem. use titan or mamoth teads? whell you are in big trouble.  but just because you can smite any tank on the map dosent mean you should do it as your tank is locked in place while you aim the laser and if you die then ten battries go to waste.

this thing does ONE POINT OF DAMAGE and if that is still too op give it 20 shots then you have to give it a battery to give it more shots. 

and the obrital strike is stupid expensive, as it costs 10 batteries to use it ONCE. but if it needs a nerf incease the cost not the damage but keep it in the double digits. 

 

p.s battries are the most expensive supply. and to mess up all the pay-to-players it is only avaible through containers and cannot be purchased it the garrage.
