The Lonely times...

The great forges of life

'Loneliness expresses the pain of being alone, while solitude expresses the glory'. Some days in our life feel like we are standing on an island, looking onto an ocean that stretches up to the horizon, with no one around us to share this feeling with. Some incidents happen in your life, and when you start the next day, you feel like life has lost its spark. Our actions during this period significantly influence our life as we can only think from our heart at that time. Energy hits such a low point that our brain refuses to think logically. Our actions could bring us out of this mood sporting a smile or push us further in and make us feel like there is no tomorrow

I can see that you are perplexed as to where am I trying to get with my silly questions. Don't worry, allow me to explain and I assure you that this non-stop grief train leads to a station where lies the star of illumination. Loneliness is like a timeout that life has provided you. The only catch is that timeout is a different battle from experience and not a vacation. You get time to figure things out, but all the while you feel like it is not worth taking the effort. All the things that happen during this lonely period make us want to do something we have never done before. My point is, why not use it to our benefit. Whenever these grey clouds appear in life, think something out of the box, something you have never tried in your everyday life. The desire for something new can be so strong during this period, it makes you focused and helps excel quickly at whatever you try. You might find happiness in something you thought was never good enough to be tried. Some of the greatest stories mankind has ever heard have been composed by some author who never thought he could amount to anything in life was hit by this strange feeling. Innumerable great poems, classic blues songs, innovative technological ideas; all these were made by their creators when they suffered this solitude; only because they wanted to try something new so that they could get away, and while on that road they found their goal of life.

Now before you get hyped and decide let's get sad and lonely so that you too could strike gold, I sternly correct you. I don't want to convey this method as the only pathway to greatness. This road also has dark corners and alleys alongside, ones you don't want to visit even in your worst nightmares. Loneliness could get dangerously addicting. Because once you start to like the tranquillity, you don't feel like dealing with people anymore. So before you decide to try something new, ensure it doesn't push someone close to you into the void of solitude.

So, all I want to say is, whenever loneliness hits you like a blizzard, don't loathe in pity. It's a blessing in disguise, one which comes rarely but inevitably. Get motivated by desire, get inspired by actions of other people and you'll surely make it to a place where you will never regret the lonely times...

Approved!

Loved it! I think you write quite beautifully. I have no suggestions because this was written pretty much perfectly for me, except for very minor grammar issues (like using "a" instead of "an" during one occasion). Keep it up!

Also, welcome to the AWS!

You forgot to put a full stop in that sentence... it's the last one in the first paragraph. Also, from next time I suggest you use left-alignment instead of center.

That being said, great writing! I can definitely relate with everything you say.

Anyways. I should have checked this article earlier, it's wonderful! I agree, though I've never experienced it myself. Great writing, I await more!
