Tanki players are not that smart

This game now, is only about money. You don't have to rank or be good, just play money and you can get any tank and as much as supply you can get. Why tanki players are that stup...? whats the point of paying it? I almost never ends a game these days, it's so boring when people can just buy it all.

My friend is a totally OP player, who can beat buyers every time. He never spent a cent, it just took hard work. If you want to spend money to become powerful, its quicker, but will get you the same results.

Well, obviously. If anyone is willing to spend real life money on a game they could play for free, they are not the sharpest tool in the shed. And now 99.9% of TO are buyers, practically everyone is dumb.

You just don't spam the drug keys. There is a certain art to using them with precision timing.

So I am as sharp as a balloon.

imo, the more drugs you have, the better you are. It almost seems as if your equipment doesn't matter as much anymore.

Sure, drugs beat no drugs. But when both players are drugging, skill and equipment is important to win.

Now, I think EVERYONE who plays this game is as sharp as a balloon.

Buyers are dumb, simply because they spend money on a free game, which has no benefits IRL.

Non-Buyers/Grinders are dumb for simply investing time in a buyer's game.

I agree the TO player base is amazingly uniformed about the game they've been playing for years and years. But at it turns out it's just another player blaming "buyers" for everything.

This is it in a nutshell.  Buyers cannot buy a very large advantage over free players. But they can get it a bit faster. Or they can have a bit more variety in the garage. And we will see what the new Drone / Battery system does to the issue. But so far the bottom line is evry Free player can own a tank able to fight against the oh-so-dreaded Buyer Boogieman.

Since drugs are a +100% effect and one MU step might be less than +1% by itself ... yeah, drugs are important. But once you have enough to use (see below) having more does not make you better. No one can have two DD supplies active at once.

Right. Buyers can afford to be wasteful. Aside from that daily mission players can get all the drugs they need to play hours each day. What more can a free player reasonably expect?

i. m. o. When players buy they jump suddenly to a higher power potential and it takes time to get used to, so they won't be as good as the non-buyers who had to play much more to reach their current level and during that gained experience and skill.

True story.

Hold my beer... it takes time getting used to being so OP when you begin buying?

Wide range of maxed-out protection modules + larger choice of turrets (all maxed out) is where buyers separate themselves from non-buyers.

Not saying non-buyers can't compete (they can) but at low-mid ranks where most only have 1 or 2 combos with moderate protection, buyers definitely stand out.

I just wrote a new topic about just that fact. Then the formu said I posted too often and refused my post. That of course erased a half hour's typing.  So much for that.

What I was going t say was much like this. Upper level buyers do not get to have much of an edge on upper level missioners.  But at lower levels a buyer can just plop down the cash and obtain a massive advantge.

The problem is TO does not use the term "Griefers" to describe these players.  "Griefers is a term in common use in other game communities.  "Buyers" are not the problem, "Griefers" are the problem.

No sheet Sherlock. Of course it doesn't benefit you IRL. It just improves the person's gaming experience. And it's their choice of whether or not they want to buy the games products.

players... well not all players, a lot of them aren't that smart yes..

but in particular mods are the extreme.

seriously can't think for themselves, just do whatever the devs tell them.

Well I'm pretty sure they just don't want to get fired. The devs basically set up "mods" as puppets so players will be satisfied if a mod tells them something.

You all have this stereo typist thoughts that buyers are dumb, or "noobs". It's not true. There are a lot of people that buy that are very smart.

Everyone is smart.

It's jealousy. They think like poor people. They don't think like they can make their own money and buy if they want.

But I disagree with the idea that everyone is equally smart or intelligent, some are smarter than others and intelligence comes in different forms.

No, we are not jealous. We just are complaining because TO is rewarding idiots for thinking that it is a good idea to spent IRL money on a virtual reality. I'm upper-middle class IRL, and I still choose to play the game free. I'm 100% happy that I am able to get to this rank without spending a cent, while others are dependent on the usage of 500 dollars a month to be able to get where I am.

I don't mean everyone.

Before Tanki's WAR, I was not a buyer. I had a few supplies (less than 10 of each), I was MUing, but I was a bit behind. After joining the WAR, I made the connection that the K/D was not the ingame D/L, but rather your personal K/D, which had to be kept above 1.0 (plus all the kills, etc.) to be eligible for all the bennies, if your team won. My K/D was on the cusp and going up and down above and below 1.0. So, for the first time since joining Tanki, I became a buyer. (I've been with Tanki longer than most players).

I bought a supply kit from the store (I figured players were going to be using them like crazy). My Vulcan was M0 (10/10) and I was due to rank up for the M1. The hull was in a sad state, indeed. I asked in the forums which hull is better for a Vulcan. It was suggested I buy a Titan M1 in a kit, since that would be cheaper than buying just the Titan M1, which I did. I got going on daily missions and kept them up. Since then, by keeping up with my missions, I haven't bought any more supplies. Now I have over a thousand RK and DA, over 2 thousand DD and SB and over 3 thousand mines, 21 Gold boxes (some I've dropped during the game) and I lost count of containers (I open them immediately for the crystals). I will admit that I do keep up with the 30 day premiums. I also have 354 batteries, but no drones. With the crystals I make ingame and from the mission containers, I've kept up with the MUs.

Now with the increase of individual crystals won in battle, coupled with the crystals I get from the missions, I'm sitting pretty good, right now. So, because I bought one supply kit, a Titan kit and keep up with the 30 day premiums, I guess I fall into the category of "not one of the sharpest tools in the shed." Isn't that right @sensei_tanker?

Yes. Exactly. I don't know why you would need a supply kit, when missions are basically giving out thousands of them for free...

plus, it seems that you are trying to imply that you have barely bought, but bloody hell, you spent at least 60 dollars (please correct me if this amount is wrong) on TO, a game that doesn't even care for its own players!
