When someone hits pause, it really is not a pause at all.

 

It should be called "Sitting Duck" mode or "Easy Kill" mode.  What is the advantage of pressing "P" and doing nothing?  It does not take you out of the game.  It does not allow you to shoot back, but it does allow someone to pound you and kill you.  How is that different from doing nothing?

 

Why not create some kind of dome or stasis status?  It would last for 2 minutes and then you'd get logged out if you don't re-engage.

When you go into "pause" mode, your tank doesn't instantly disappear, but it just stops and can get destroyed once. But as soon as it does get destroyed, it will not respawn until you leave pause mode. If you press pause when you already started flying over to respawn, then your tank will spawn once, but not anymore after it gets destroyed.
