It would have been nice if we could have shared these meteor drops together with as many friends as possible all at once. But I am a player, not a developer in charge of how to improve gameplay and the social aspect of gaming, so what do I know.

I can't believe Tanki players have a very short term memory. Have you forgotten all the mults and hackers during the last 10X Gold? There are probably more hackers today because of that 10X.

 

Because of that I guess we deserve what we get.

But then you could go into a battle with a group of 4+ friends and communicate when golds drop, occupying the zone and helping each other take the box, thus giving all other players almost no chance to get it.

Limit is 4. Before MM, I was able to fill up an event just by using those on my friends list with no issues from anyone. Now diggers and trollers will take a spot and not care as long as they get to ruin things for others.

I'm really excited. I've never seen a meteor gold box while battling(I created my account after Cosmonautics Day). I've only ever caught 2 gold boxes ( One of them about 15 minutes back) and I hope the meteor effect makes it easier.

The meteors make it easier in some ways and harder in other ways. Have fun practicing this week. 10x drops will give you plenty of chances.

 

IMO though don't worry to much about Gold Boxes. Unless they drop near you you are better off using it as a diversion to further your goal of World Conquest. You'll still end up getting some GBs now and ten anyway.

That is how TO works. The MM section is the core game section. The Pro battle are an -->> optional <<<--- section for free-form gaming.

Why bother with the celebrations then? They are a distraction from the core function of the game. They could have used the time to optimize the speed of the game, get rid of lags and hackers. It would improve the core function of the game. Everything else that is optional should be put on hold until the game is optimized.

So, again, why after dozens and dozens of examples are there still people who wonder every single time if the event will apply to the Pro section. It. Never. Does.
